The Godless Is God real? How can I know for sure that God is real? We know that God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in three ways: in creation, in His Word, and in His Son, Jesus Christ. The most basic proof of God's existence is simply what He has made. "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities"his eternal power and divine nature"have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse" (Romans 1:20). "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." (Psalm 19:1). If I found a wristwatch in the middle of a field, I would not assume that it just "appeared" out of nowhere or that it had always existed. Based on the watch's design, I would assume it had a designer. But there is far greater design and precision in the world around us. Our measurement of time is not based on wristwatches, but on God's handiwork"the regular rotation of the earth (and the radioactive properties of the cesium-133 atom). The universe displays great design, and this argues for a Great Designer. If I found an encoded message, I would seek out a cryptographer to help break the code. My assumption would be that there is an intelligent sender of the message, someone who created the code. How complex is the DNA "code" that we carry in every cell of our bodies? Does not the complexity and purpose of DNA argue for an Intelligent Writer of the code? Not only has God made an intricate and finely tuned physical world; He has also instilled a sense of eternity in the heart of every person (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Mankind has an innate perception that there is more to life than meets the eye, that there is an existence higher than this earthly routine. Our sense of eternity manifests itself in at least two ways: law-making and worship. Every civilization throughout history has valued certain moral laws, which are surprisingly similar from culture to culture. For example, the ideal of love is universally esteemed, while the act of lying is universally condemned. This common morality"this global understanding of right and wrong"points to a Supreme Moral Being who gave us such scruples. In the same way, people all over the world, regardless of culture, have always cultivated a system of worship. The object of worship may vary, but the sense of a "higher power" is an undeniable part of being human. Our propensity to worship accords with the fact that God created us "in His own image" (Genesis 1:27). God has also revealed Himself to us through His Word, the Bible. Throughout Scripture, the existence of God is treated as a self-evident fact (Genesis 1:1; Exodus 3:14). When Benjamin Franklin wrote his autobiography, he did not waste time trying to prove his own existence. Likewise, God does not spend much time proving His existence in His book. The life-changing nature of the Bible, its integrity, and the miracles which accompanied its writing should be enough to warrant a closer look. The third way in which God revealed Himself is through His Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6-11). "In the beginning was the Word: the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:1,14; see also Colossians 2:9). In Jesus' amazing life, He kept the entire Old Testament law perfectly and fulfilled the prophecies concerning the Messiah (Matthew 5:17). He performed countless acts of compassion and public miracles to authenticate His message and bear witness to His deity (John 21:24-25). Then, three days after His crucifixion, He rose from the dead, a fact affirmed by hundreds of eyewitnesses (1 Corinthians 15:6). The historical record abounds with "proof" of who Jesus is. As the Apostle Paul said, this thing "was not done in a corner" (Acts 26:26). I realize that there will always be skeptics who have their own ideas concerning God and will read the evidence accordingly. And there will be some whom no amount of proof will convince (Psalm 14:1). It all comes down to faith (Hebrews 11:6).

Leave to UA-cam: you have rich, beautiful and ancient traditions with complex roots and explanations, and the people here can't appreciate it. They reach for anti-Semitism. Fuck me. The Jewish approach to food (and in fact, the complexity to Judaism) has always fascinated me. Everything has a meaning and a reason. It's very similar to Hinduism in that regard. We eat a certain thing at a certain time, largely as a representation of some aspect of our theology. Just the way they do.
Well, there's certainly nothing *wrong* with having food fetishes. It's not rational, but then neither are many sexual desires. I don't understand it, but if some spiritually "get off" on this then "yay" for them. Whatever floats your boat.
What are you talking about? You would disturb your view of anything in your life by a youtube message board? Just ignore it, nothing on the boards matter.
Basically everything that's kosher is also considered halal but but not the opposite, both are very close in terms of meat quality (cleaning, trimming fat, removing blood, specific cutting etc.) Except kosher takes a few extra steps and adding requirements such as not eating a hurt or ill animal, even if a cow is lame or has a wound, however I a bull got shot it can still become halal if it's being prepared right away. The main idea is the same tho, and that is being humane and making sure to minimize animal sufferings

+princessaishi007 No Muslims can eat Kosher it is in the Qur'an go ask a Sheikh. "This day are (all) good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. Whoso denieth the faith, his work is vain and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter." - (Noble Qur'an 5:5)
+princessaishi007 Not true. According to all opinions on Islamic Law that I have heard, it is permissible for Muslims to eat food prepared the Jewish way aka Kosher
I love learning more about the Jewish culture/ Judaism. The video could’ve been better if they had a different hosts. She interrupted the people with her unfunny comments.
I like this episode, very impressive how they keep their food as clean as possible to avoid cross contamination. I like how religion and food meet together to create something that is routine as feeding yourself so meaningful.
Mmmm. Chopped liver. It's gout on a spoon. After watching this, I'm getting a handle on why my more religious Jewish friends tend to be neurotic germophobes. A great friend of mine, who deals in graffiti supplies for a living, will not discuss business of any kind during the sabbath. It's incredibly frustrating for me, but I deeply respect his convictions as a religious business owner. It can't be easy to shut down during peak hours and must take tremendous mental fortitude.
Check out B and H Photo, they shut down both their store and online site on sabbath. There are stories of people trying to buy on saturday, but coming back on sunday bc of how impressed they were with their religious observance.
He doesn’t have to open a kosher restaurant. If he does he knows he has do abide by jewish law which is to have a Jewish supervisor and main controller. This isn’t a matter of having control. It’s a matter of keeping kosher. #themoreyouknow
Pretty accurate presentation - the lovely 'Sabbath' meal was not actually filmed on the Sabbath itself ( you can tell because even though it's the 'night meal', it's still daylight outside)..but the details were quite on the mark. I wish they had sung some of the songs and recited the blessings that come after the meal recognizing how G-d is in charge and how grateful we are for everything..but I'm very glad Michoel stated how it was done early - the world gets to share and the sacredness of the actual Sabbath was not breached.
I can't think of any reason why people gave this video a thumbs down aside from being anti-semitic. I loved how respectful Kiran was interacting with a different culture and religion. That's how we all should be when we interact with people who are different than us! Love this!
The chick is rude and detatched. Superheroes of kosher? Its very apparent that she thinks she is hot...so full of herself she cant listen/respond properly in an interview.
I always wondered how Jewish traditions, like kosher foods, and the sabbath worked. I just never bothered to look them up, but i was always interested in it to an extent. Something that took away from the video however was the host. She reminded me of Elaine from Seinfeld when she made jokes. The annoying Elaine that tries to be funny but fails at it. Other than that, it was an interest production. It a shame that the blatant ignorant bigots had to dislike it because it was about Jews.
No kidding,@GeeksOasis! She calls herself a comedian but she has no sense of spontaneity or even a semblance of humor. Nothing she said was funny. Her repartée sucked. And she even made silly mistakes, like calling the dinner entrée Brisket, when in fact Mr. Bloom explained in detail that it was Prime Rib (and why)! She missed opportunities that a smarter, funnier host would've said, like drawing parallels between her Indian culture and Judaism; their Diwali and our Channukah--they're both festivals of lights--and so on. And if she was REALLY on the ball, she could've asked some such authority about why wigs for religious Jewish women who wear them, are NEVER made out of Indian hair!
How surprising, out of all the munchies episodes, this one has the most hateful comments...antisemitism is something I will never understand. God bless all cultures, they are beautiful and above all, they all have crazy good foods I want to try :)
@@LaFemme434 Well jews wont eat halal if they cant find kosher. Its always muslims trying to show how they are accepting. Iv never heard a jew say anything good about islam despite the similarities.
H.4RRY _ jewish kosher laws are more strict. Just like a vegetarian can eat vegan food. But a vegan can’t eat vegetarian. Nothing to do with acceptance just the religious laws. This is nothing to do with bigotry or ‘non acceptance’. I as a Jew would break bread with a Muslim at a kosher meal anytime. Love ❤️ from Israel. #themoreyouknow
@@h.4rry_192 its not about accepting u moron. Its about the concept. Certainly there are similaritied between halal and kosher food so if im in a non Muslim country where it is difficult to find a Muslim produce, ill definitely will find the Kosher store.
Aside from her uncomfortable nature in the beginning, I eventually learned a great deal when she centered in on what was really going on instead of trying to be funny. There is a real family nature to that Friday dinner. Other cultures could learn a lot.
I'm originally from the LA area. This episode makes me miss "home." I wish I was back there right this minute. Could definitely go for some grub at Canter's after watching this.
If you're so obsessed with keeping meat, fish, and dairy products separate that you're buying redundant appliances and dishes - do you ever contemplate the fact that all that food ends up together in your stomach at the same time...?
It’s different with each family. Some are more well off than others and can afford to buy doubles of every appliance ( just like how some non-jews insist on having a chefs kitchen when they can’t make a sandwhich) but there are ways to keep a kosher kitchen with just a single of each appliance.
I believe in God, but I think all these religions are a way of controlling people. I will eat pork, shellfish, beef, and anything else that God has blessed us with. With CHEESE too!
Thank you for taking us inside a Shabbat Dinner with "Michael" and his family. Loved the Chopped Liver sample, you didn't look too thrilled about it, LOL! My Mom used to cooked liver I learned early in life to get over it, is like Mushrooms you don't like at first, you just acquired the taste. Kiran, Loved it, your interview, you did great.
I don't mind her as a host at all actually I thought she was very kind and polite where she never made any assumptions and even offered to help out in putting food on the table. I also really liked this documentary since I honestly don't know much if at all about Judaism and have always found it along with other Abraham faiths fascinating.
The host reminds me of Cathy Griffith. She tries to be entertaining, dead pan funny. Full fail. She’ interrupts and doesn’t really seem to be listening.
jorge hdz I guess you didn't pay attention to the documentary, and the strictness of Kosher food... That's what I meant. I never denied nor acknowledged the influence of the Jewish culture on the food.
It also depends of how much Judaism kosher you follow. Just like Catholics how Catholic are you. As a kid going to temple in Mexico city some time we didn't go that far.
Shalom. Mashallah good to see brothers of our brethren . I pray they stick around with Torah and ten commandments till the end of the world and not get corrupted.
Jews can break kosher rules if they are sick. Pork is felt to be nutritious, so if you're extremely sick and weak, you can definitely have, say, a nice won ton soup or something.
Having worked in commercial kitchens I can tell you that pilots go out all the time and they're not worth constantly fixing. Easier to put the flames on at the stsrt of work and shut them off at closing

I get the interviewer must ask basic questions, but I have the feeling the producers found her by chance and send it to work on her first day.
The original Jews were from India.

From a Muslim, I can say I really liked how clean they are with their meat and prepping, also how they make sure their veggies are just as clean!

Muslims sbould only eat halal food that follow the Islamic guidelines. You know that right?
Can only *
+princessaishi007 regarding the meat, i think they are similar. we are not allowed to eat animals with tusks or claw or any meat eaters. generally our list are bigger than thiers so i dont think there are a problem in eating kosher.
According to all opinions on Islamic Law that I have heard, it is permissible for Muslims to eat food prepared the Jewish way aka Kosher
i LOVE THAT "You remind me of the professor in Jurrasic Park" answer "I don't know who he was" Mega!
I love learning more about the Jewish culture/ Judaism. The video could’ve been better if they had a different hosts. She interrupted the people with her unfunny comments.
I like this episode, very impressive how they keep their food as clean as possible to avoid cross contamination. I like how religion and food meet together to create something that is routine as feeding yourself so meaningful.
pretty interesting how serious they take being kosher! what the fuck is up with the comments, like what the fuck?
but i dont know if the host knows much about food which may have made it sorta weird

The slang and laughing - I would ask her to leave my beautiful Shabbat meal.
Rabbi Lapin does the same thing. If it wasn’t for Orthodox Jews g-d would wipe us all out.
The presenter presented herself as a stand up comedian....then she sucked at presenting and sucked at being funny.
Look what she was working with.. Cringe
Sorry but the owner of mexikosher seemed upset he didn’t have access to his own restaurant.
Seems like a ridiculous situation
He doesn’t have to open a kosher restaurant. If he does he knows he has do abide by jewish law which is to have a Jewish supervisor and main controller. This isn’t a matter of having control. It’s a matter of keeping kosher. #themoreyouknow

Cee Cee B. How?
I found it odd how in the halal one you made sure to show how they slaughtered the meat so "cruel" but not here.
Paul P yes why they didn't show the slaughter process
+muchamad iman Because she didn't visit a slaughter house?
In Judaism they slaughter meat the same way that Muslims do a quick slice to the jugular so that way the animal shouldn't feel any pain.
+Mark Warren and windpipe with a super sharp knife
+Andrew Wisz but captive bolt is not kosher. The animal is still alive when it's neck is being cut. I would consider that to be cruel .
For some reason the host was not pleasing to watch.
I’d have a go on it 🤤
I can't think of any reason why people gave this video a thumbs down aside from being anti-semitic. I loved how respectful Kiran was interacting with a different culture and religion. That's how we all should be when we interact with people who are different than us! Love this!

@@aakarshchaudhary7359 why do you watch videos about Jewish tradition if you hate them?
I always wondered how Jewish traditions, like kosher foods, and the sabbath worked. I just never bothered to look them up, but i was always interested in it to an extent. Something that took away from the video however was the host. She reminded me of Elaine from Seinfeld when she made jokes. The annoying Elaine that tries to be funny but fails at it. Other than that, it was an interest production. It a shame that the blatant ignorant bigots had to dislike it because it was about Jews.
Completely agree in regards to the host (y).

Aside from her uncomfortable nature in the beginning, I eventually learned a great deal when she centered in on what was really going on instead of trying to be funny. There is a real family nature to that Friday dinner. Other cultures could learn a lot.

Great video! I've always found Jewish people and the Jewish culture to be so fascinating.
If you're so obsessed with keeping meat, fish, and dairy products separate that you're buying redundant appliances and dishes - do you ever contemplate the fact that all that food ends up together in your stomach at the same time...?
They dont eat milk and meat at the same time. And they wait a certain amount of hours for the stomach to digest before eating something else.
Our kosher tradition is to wait 6 hours between eating meat and dairy and a half hour between dairy and meat as dairy digests quicker.
@@Hostman68 6 hours
It’s different with each family. Some are more well off than others and can afford to buy doubles of every appliance ( just like how some non-jews insist on having a chefs kitchen when they can’t make a sandwhich) but there are ways to keep a kosher kitchen with just a single of each appliance.
I believe in God, but I think all these religions are a way of controlling people. I will eat pork, shellfish, beef, and anything else that God has blessed us with. With CHEESE too!
Thanks for the video.. such a privilege to eat with this beautiful family.. it’s totally my dream to participate in a dinner like that..
