Difficult? Punch-Out!! is a difficulty-oriented ROM hack of Punch-Out!! that was partially inspired by the Title Defense mode from the Wii version of Punch-Out!!. In this romhack, all the attacking patterns from every opponent are changed up and any punch, with the exception of those from Super Macho Man and Mike Tyson, can knock you down. Yes, even Glass Joe can knock you down with one punch. Little Mac also does less damage this time around, making for even longer matches.
DJ_Incendration ( tasvideos.org/... ) here proves that he's up to the challenge and wins the championship in record time.

What I find absolutely hilarious about this rom hack is that most, if not all the old MTPO strats work in this hack too, like holding Down to freeze Soda, dizzy destroyers on Honda and Macho, Great Tiger getting up on a 1 count before 1:00 and a 14 second K.O on Don 1
I gotta say, I love the way don flies to the left during that strat

This is absolutely beautiful. I love NES Punch Out, and more if it's a Hack ROM. This was absolutely amazing.
Not gonna lie, I thought that King Hippo was gonna get up after he was knocked down.

Good luck beating Glass Joe before he proves that you indeed took 128 Shaped Glasses, with *none* of the benefits.
Build a mister and play the games.....even has adapters to use real controllers.

glass joe getting up in one second twice is honestly kind of scary when mr sandman and mike tyson get up in 2 or more

Am I having a Mandela effect moment or do the opponents have some kind of alternate color scheme for their trunks, gloves, boots, etc.? I seem to recall bald bull wearing like a seafoam green pair of trunks for example.

The sprites were changed for trunks and gloves
UA-cam gets the game right in the description but uses the cover of the Wii Punch Out game alongside it.

What's with the pure dodging for the first part of sandman? Is he straight up invulnerable?
The dodges are for entertainment, since you can't hit him at all.

Also the first fight is actually a good concept of doing what the player realistically was before and having to punish it.
