- Beating the Netherbrain using Globe of Invulnerability and Invisibility
To achieve this, you have two options:
Employ a henchman capable of rendering four party members invisible.
Or ensure the henchman can only make itself and the mindflayer invisible, and then use invisibility scrolls for the remaining three members.
If you opt for the first choice, I suggest using the invisibility scroll on the final member. Ensure you have a 6th-level spell slot available for the Globe of Invulnerability, or have a player equipped with the Scroll of Invulnerability to cast it.
Upon reaching the crown and setting up the Globe of Invulnerability, remember to save your game. During every mindflayer attack, either pray or save, as they won't disrupt the channeling.
Lastly, as a precaution, save the game once you've opened the portal and your team is in position. - Ігри

Before heading into the fight. Go turn based mode, cast invisibility on everyone, and then head to the fight.

OMG thank you! I've been struggling with this boss for a week! By the time I even got to the brain I spent all my magica on the other enemies and could barley do any damage to it!

I play this game on easy mode for a reason. Why is this STILL so difficult?????? And it takes SO long for all the enemies to do their moves. I just grab my phone every time my turn ends and wait until it's my turn again.
UPDATE: globe of invulnerability saved my life. I also used 10000 scrolls and potions to get through it. Long live the potion of speed and the scroll of misty step.
I feel you. As someone that never played a BG game or even DnD before this isn't very friendly to newcomers. Or is DnD always this hard? Unfortunately for me I don't think I have the option to make everyone invisible. Some people are getting roasted before I get to the crown. Bad ending for me I guess.

Very useful. Died so many times. Completely forgot I had invisibility potions and the shield spell.
I went in without buffing. Almost beat it and brain destroyed the floor everyone was standing on. Instant death. Gonna prepare more with haste and other movement buffs next time.

for those that are doing this but dnt have said spells u can cast sanctuary on all ur party members n just walk to the crown i used one member as bait to just keep spawning in allies so they'd just attack them and not worry about hitting the ppl i plan to bring to fight the brain

I find getting to the boss one-sided and favors magic users more than nonmagic. Not everyone has invisibility to use to cheese the boss or invisibility potions to use. I'm like, I would mind having to fight the dragon and three mind flares to get to the brain, I'm like brush about it.
Just beat the netherbrain on tactician mode.
Tough fight! AI cheats a bit, but you’ll get lucky with persistence if you haven’t beat it yet.
Summons are decoys. Cast a hold monster on red dragon.
Have the emperor cast his spell that opens portal to mother brain, THEN cast a globe over him and party.
Speed potions help.
Once you get to netherbrain, bombard with magic and finish with fighters!

I can't get him to use the spell for the life of me I had a battle for 30 mins and he stayed up there and didn't use it once

Im on easy mode aswell and i dont have an invuneralbilty spell without have to go back to a prior save ive seen so many things on google saying this fight is almost unbeatable
