My daughter introduced me to so much fantastic music of her generation she died at 33 years young and I miss her every second of every day she loved this band and so do I at 64 years old thank you baby

11 million /6 years is a lot for a song like this? I don't think so. My other choices... there are many different. Check out Alice in Chains - Them Bones (so much energy in just 2m30s), Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down, Tool - Pneuma, Leonard Cohen - Everybody Knows, Riverside - Conceiving You, Lenny Kravitz - Low...
This song just reinforces what incredibly talented musicians these guys are. They can do anything, from covering Burt Bacharach or The Commodors, to soulful, beautiful original songs like this, to screaming thrash. There is no genre they can't do. No style they have not mastered. Not a single bad song in their entire catalog. I never get tired of any oh their music. Just a fantastic band.
just listened to this for the 1,000,000th time tonight.....never ever makes me feel something other than amazing....love to everyone who is listening to this end of 2022...we've been through it this year, wishing you all the very Best of Life....
I'm currently getting pissed up and going through the classics of our generation and continually find others doing the same. It's great to be here amongst the like minded.
I listened to King for a Day so much in high school. Damn near 30 years later, I learned there is a music video for my favorite song from the album?!?!
How the hell a band such as FNM could pull off such a vibe as they do in this song...... It's thick, yet fluid, sexy with class..... sophisticated and smooth, served with a bit of dirty in the most tasteful of ways....... it just proves how fucking eccentric these guys are. They push their limits in every way in every album, every song, every decade, every riff. And that's why FNM will always be the most amazing band of all time.
I just got hooked by this band. Long time fans please explain me something: do you guys legitimately like his vocals style in the 1st album ("Epic", "Falling to Pieces" etc)? Or do you only tolerate them because the songs are just amazing overall? I was never a big Anthony Kiedis fan LOL
that falsetto singing the words "evidence" is pretty fucking amazing... the only other I ever heard that was such a chameleon in vocal styles was Scott Weiland in STP later years, and there's this song "Fearless Leader" by a band called Dramagods, hard to believe it's the same guy who sings all songs in that album
@@FeelingShred I didn't like his vocals on the first album.... it wasn't until "Angel Dust" came out that I fell in love with Patton's voice ( and FNM in general). Nowdays I DO like that older stuff, but for the reason you said: because the tracks are really awesome. Mike's voice definitely improved as he got older. He became AMAZING. And...hot ;)
Getting the chance to see Patton/FaithNoMore/Fantomas perform was the best time of my life. I even got lucky to get his autograph because I walked around with his picture in my wallet and the wife of the drummer found it cute. She took it to the back and he signed it! All these years later I still have it on my dresser to this day. Will be a fan for life!
In addition to having its perfect pace locked-down by the superb rhythm section of bassist Billy Gould and drummer Mike Boden, this track demonstrates the sheer talent of Trey Spruance. His minimal yet exquisite and in-the-pocket guitar vamps and licks and his masterful use of the wah pedal, really makes this song groove like nothing else.
same here, saw them in a small club named Batschkapp in Frankfurt Germany and I talked to Mike ahead of the gig in front of the building. he's been very kind. I was like 24 an I'm 53 now.
not underrated, people who truly appreciate great talent in rock music get what Faith No More is all about! You don’t have to make the charts ( which are bullshit) to be great! Faith No More in my top 5 greatest rock bands of all time!
Everything about this song is just perfect. The bassline, drums, guitar licks, vocals and piano melody. Such a tune!!! I never knew who sang it until about a year ago. One of my top songs streamed on spotify this year!
Faith No More is still amazing in 2020 cause you can listen to their songs over and over again without getting full of them! Furthermore the sound of the King For A Day Album is just perfect.
