What a shitty video. Why there is a failed canon rush in "best cannon rushes of all time" video? Even more so - when this canon rush failed due to a lack of skill.
Yeah seeing that spine crawler counter was just some well overdue bitch slapping in progress. Fucking hate cannon rush so bad. When I used to play years ago if I had a team mate that would do it I’d just drop out of the game. It’s to easy to just destroy most opponents with and I like to play a real game and would rather take my chances in the next match
ahahaah i was thinking 'what if... what if he never spots the middle hatch?!?!!? nahhhhhh' but it appears you're right. that had to have been the greatest '*WHAT THE FUCK*' moment in SC2 history.
It's like that video of the shirtless man catching guys trying to steal his car at night and he comes running out with a baseball bat screaming 'Ah, YESSSSS!!!'
I am kinda thankful for you breaking out and doing older stuff. A lil sugesstion: best baneling connects. that moment were the banelings chased the ghosts over the entire map for example.
Last clip was featured somewhere long time ago and someone explained that Classic never saw 2nd hatch till 19:13 moment when probe went by. This was key moment. Classic lost, because he saw that hatch too late. Nice play by Rogue btw.
I love these highlight videos so much - You guys should just keep digging into the backlog of SC2 games we've had over the years and keep releasing highlights - I dont care if i've seen it before ill watch it again lol. There's a video i love to watch over and over: Starcraft 2 - Epic moments of all time - I want to see you guys continue that video lol and modernize it - its over a decade old - anyways thank you guys for the content - lately it's been amazing =)
i would love to see the first ever pro cannon rush. that opened a pandora's box can of wormy cheese that's made SC2 endlessly entertaining and trolly XD
I really like some fails of cannon rushes that are great in these series, because the last game was a banger even though the cannon rusher lost. Still a very cool game and it keeps one unsure who's gonna win. Definitely a good addition to doing these videos. One could rename the series to "Greatest Cannon Rush Games of All Time" to preempt the nitpicks saying "but it's not a great cannon rush if it loses, duh!"
what sc2hl described: now release the most epic cannon rush across the history. what non-protoss players saw: the most unpleasant moment i don't want to have again in my entire life. edit: except the last match :D
Never an instance where a commentator says this isn't going to work without being proven wrong. It's like they forget these people are pros, they're going to know more about what's going on than you.
This was fantastic haha! Thank you! I think another potential highlight was that discovered map bug cannon rush, where some protoss walled at the bottom of the ramp with a single pylon next to the unbuildable plates and it actually walled the whole thing off. I think it was a match versus solar.
as one of the castor said, Has is playing a strategic game, not macro, not micro, it is not about the build or the mechanics, it is about the strategy of playing the game.
@@xuthebeast1229 Heart of the Swarm, mothership core had time warp, recall, and the ability to make a nexus shoot at very long range for a period of time. The mothership itself didn't have that last one so you gave up a significant defensive advantage to build it. The core didn't seem to have enough energy for it here or he might have been able to hold his natural.
It's really funny to see how unrefined the pros were playing 8 years ago. In the first clip, his response to being cheesed with a cannon rush is to go double evo double upgrade?? ...
The hell was Jaedong doing? I used to think Jaedong was really really good back then but then I see this game and I’m like wtf? Pull back your damn drones and lay some spines. That was a waste of precious mining time.
Classic was so greedy to expand. I'm not gonna say I know better than Classic, but what was he thinking? Just in simple terms he forced the zerg into a 1base Vs 1base, except the protoss sunk hundreds of minerals into cannons on the opposite side of the map. Then he sinks another 400 on a nexus. I think he was just so afraid of a somewhat even macro game that he felt the need to roll dice again and again.
The protoss spends a lot on the contain, but the contain WILL be broken by roaches easily, because they can just morph into ravagers to siege cannons. So to have the cannon rush then still have any effect, classic needs to be ahead, so he needs to expand. If he's 1 base vs 1 base, he needs to either push with a 1-base army vs lots of roaches and ravagers, which is probably unwinnable or the zerg is gonna outgrow him. Also, the time zerg needs to break the contain is by far enough to build up his eco and then some units. The (unscouted) proxy hatch was the only thing that saved rogue there.

Did classic see the 2nd hatch in his main before it completed and spread creep ?
nongamer be like wtf a shield battery?
What a shitty video. Why there is a failed canon rush in "best cannon rushes of all time" video?
Even more so - when this canon rush failed due to a lack of skill.
only thing more satisfying than a professional cannon rush is an uno reverse against a professional cannon rush
that was a true "f*ck your cannon rush" moment x)

hippity hoppity your mainbase is now my property!
The key on the last one is that the left proxy hatch was never scouted.
Wow you're right, didn't even notice 'til I went back and watched. He never saw it at all until it finished.
Was about to say the same thing. Good catch friend.
Classic case of casters too busy blabbing to notice the critical elephant on the map. Even the observer didn't toggle vision to point it out.
Ketroc! 😍

Rogue is a genius. Feels like he wanted to be canon rushed just to slap Protoss badly.
It's like that video of the shirtless man catching guys trying to steal his car at night and he comes running out with a baseball bat screaming 'Ah, YESSSSS!!!'
Rogue said "reverse uno card bucko"
I play toss and rogue pulling that off was satisfying. Serves that cheesy toss right.
5:50 real pain in the… Has. Perfectly delivered
i dont think ive ever seen a zerg respond to a cannon rush by going: "No U!"
6:36 Toss cheese summed up in one image.
Now I learned where the has face meme came from, Thank god for that fan.
I am kinda thankful for you breaking out and doing older stuff. A lil sugesstion: best baneling connects. that moment were the banelings chased the ghosts over the entire map for example.
That turnaround in the last game is insane lol

6:33 Still wonder why there's no HasChamp emote on Twitch after all this time
How could i forget when that meme was born watching Has being an absolute genius
Really fun to see the Has Oracles guy again, he was truly the face of that moment

That final game was sooo satisfying!
I instantly thought of Has vs Violet when I saw the title, not disappointed. Feels like it was just yesterday.
Was waiting for you guys to include the Has Cannon-rush in this (the first one). It's my favorite!
The Oracle game is just as amazing!
This one is the most epic ever in my opinion. Nothing can beat this amount of cheese, fun, craziness, etc.
15:10 "Pure NA garbage, just evil. You play against Koreans. And then you play against the best player from Oklahoma and this is what he does."
Insane final match!!! thank you so much for this :D

always love this kind of innovative player

Wowww Rotterdam & MrBitter. I liked their casting
Has is a friggin force!
that guy's face at Has' insane style
Has: Welcome back to SC2 Jaedong! Now get outta here.
Yihaa! Cannon rushes are the best entertainment! 🍿
Classic mistake; not walling off your main/natural behind the cannon rush :)
Hope you will see some KingKobra games. This guy mane a canon rush as an art for years
After the patch this will be the only way for protoss to win
Has is a legend
last match epic lol
12:21 Chris Pratt riding with his raptors.
The mass oracles was legitimately a shocking sight
there was another game Has played where he melted 30 hydras with like 22 oracles lol.

I miss these days when Blizzard gave a crap about their games, now Starcraft is almost dead, HotS in maintainance mode, its just sad.
I miss the mapping game StarCraft but nowadays they play dota with just 3 lines and one hero to control. 🥺
