Yeah... but the title of this video (and other previous ones that also included failed cannon rushes) is "Greatest Cannon Rushes of All Time". I can't consider a Cannon Rush among the "Greatest" if it fails.
That last game was intense. Serral got lots of good pick offs that really hurt Haas. I think he should've sniped the spawning pool and roach warren instead of trying to poke the backline of the expansion. That would've set Serral back 350 minerals and a few minutes at the very least.
Watching these makes me so thankful we zergs got the latest patch to help against these early toss cheeses. God these look so frustrating to fight against…
it seems to me that you used to pre-split your army and concave on the enemy more, but Im partially doing something else while watching and you are 99x better than I am.
yeh he got greedy against serral which is the last thing you want to do. Serral just attacked his base once he realized it wasnt a full wall. If has didnt lose 2-3 immortals before that he wouldve had extra to ecal one or so. Small misplays but overall crazy micro from both
Back in the days protosses indeed had short, but strong Cannon rush era vs. zerg. But of course zerg have been winning every major tournament for years. And with upcoming patch the most interesting thing to see is that do any protoss even make it into any major tournament. @@ThoughtsOnThoughts Yes, just like in the last game of this video. But it would be much easier to make video about great zerg holds vs. cannon rushes than about great Cannon rushes
Game 1 of this video with PartinG blocking the ramp is the actual best cannon rush ever. He wins with his first proxy pylon. Solar has to go through all the stages of grief in a two minute time span.

Cannon rushes are strongest in PvZ where Zerg really wants two bases for any sustained unit production. PvP they are decent, but Protos can one base more easily and the defender will have the eco lead, at least at the beginning. PvT, Terran can just fly away if they need to.
@@DanStaal Terrans don't care much about all because marines can easily sniper the probe and it's basically impossible to put pylons that way so cannon can really be positioned aggressively and protect pylon from ranged attacks of marines early on. Canon rushing is almost completely non viable in PvT, and it's a lot harder in PvP (though a PvP still happens in the video). Zerg can't ignore it, and has a hard time defending it. It's the matchup where it's most effective.

The casting on that last match had me at the edge of my seat!
Love these series makes me think of good old days
Parting quite literally changed the game of SC2 multiple times. Soul train, blink stalker micro for days, crazy cannon rushes. I'm gonna miss him
Has with that Immortal micro at the end was insane.
man serral is insane
His focus is scary. No expressions on his face. Pure ice in the veins.
It was mostly just Has constantly mis-microing it and fucking up the cheese. If he'd micro'd like Parting then no chance Serral wins.
I don't know what it is about a cannon rush that has me entertained by it. Love it.
How is the last one great? Looks like that protoss is playing with a single hemisphere of his brain.
Lol, got here 7 seconds after the upload. Perfect timing! ^^
Very nice to see at least one where someone comes back and defeats the rush. If anyone can do it, Serral can!!
I almost died at 17:27 tbh
bro someone's soul went to aiur real fast
Lol the map maker when he see's his ramp can be blocked by one pylon 😳

The immortal juggling in the end!
Has vs Serral one was amazing
Thanks for tossing in my suggestion! @sc2hl also just fantastic games as a whole!

Peak Serral
Serral vs Has... That ought to be something. Did. Not. Disappoint.
The book of filth! Classic line :)
Haven't seen Serral lose to a single rush or cheese in over 3 years.
Shame on the last one that is was decided with Has leaving the wall open so didn't really get to see the actual climax of that turret race.
wow, those Parting games were incredible :D
cannon rush compilation, ah a has gameplay vid

Why did haz opt for a shield battery instead of a cannon at home? And if he just walled off at his natural, could have been a diff outcome
