I think it's not just that the water from lulusia is displaced, it's that the blast caused tectonic shifts everywhere and the entire crust of the earth is changing shape. So instead of having the planet need to be massive, which wouldn't really make sense because of the travel time with sailing vessels would be forever if it was the size of Neptune, it's that a ton of underwater mountain ranges formed that are the cause of the water displacement.

I think the direct mention of Bonney here is leading to her finding out Garceia is there and trying to attack him but I think this will be the moment Zoro finds himself exactly where he needed to be while he is cutting ships in half left and right, to save her from a celestial dragon to mirror when she saved him from cutting down Charlos in Sabaody. The specific mention to make sure no one knows and then the free pass for Bonney just makes me feel like it will be her to find out he's there and her fury from the Kuma flashback will drive her to attack him as I feel he played a specific role in Kuma being used as a slave in Mariejois. Just some speculation of course but I think it would be cool to see Zoro getting to deal some damage to a celestial dragon this time while Luffy takes out Kizaru. There is not even the slightest doubt in my mind that Kizaru is far stronger than any Celestial Dragon, Imu included. Any of the OG 3 Admirals can give even an Emperor of the Sea a run for their money, I'm a Zoro fanboy but I'm not stupid enough to think that Zoro would beat Kizaru rn. Zoro is my fave strawhat and second fave character after Shanks so I'm the furthest thing from a hater but like, he struggled too much with King for me to think he can beat Kizaru this time round, by EoS sure but not yet.

I recommend keeping the "translation changes" segment as SOMETIMES, the official can clear up/confirm things and alter context, making for a better read. The official for 1089 is a good example. lol even the title is way different ("Hostage Situation").

While I was watching the video, I've had a realisation about what oda could be hinting on with Jay Garcia Saturn calling bonnie "just a little girl". His comment made me thing back to the beginning of the arc when we the crew saved bonnie from being trapped in the water eddie (i might have misremembered the name but I think you know what I mean) when bonnie for some reason was in her child form, which is odd since theoretically (and I might be wrong about this) being engulfed in water like she was should have weakened her and possibly revert the effects of her devil fruit abilities, especially if they are temporary as she mentions later in the arc. So what I am trying to say is that I think she is constantly using her devil fruit ability to keep her adult appearance up, but in reality she is actually, just like Jay Garcia mentions, is just a child. Now you might be wondering, how can she still be a child if she remembers how egghead island looked like ages ago and also has memories with her father from her childhood, implying that it happened a long time ago? Well, this all can be explained with a crazy, but at this point very possible theory that bonnie's devil fruit is actually toki toki no mi (aka time time fruit) which manifested possibly on egghead or somewhere else in the world where bonnie was able to consume it at some point after toki's death. Now this theory is not something new, in fact the full theory explains that the reason she's able to always escape the world government and possibly the reason she was engulfed into a water eddie in first place was possibly because she traveled forwards in time just like toki did, and this furthermore supports the possibility of her being a child since she actually has been time traveling this entire time without aging much. Also, since bonnie has sated that her fruit powers change living things temporarily, it could be that she's constantly using her powers to age her self, thus could be an explanation as to why she eats so much (using powers => using more energy than usual => need to eat more). In this instance I think tcb is more accurate it doesn’t fit the mood for Aokiji to legitimately be saying Garp where are you going you’re wounded I’m worried about you. People have been talking about this for a while you can look it up if you don’t believe me it’s not just One Piece it’s Manga in general translations can be different. Another example I recently looked up is when Robin talks about Marco being defeated by Blackbeard. The Viz can give slightly different impression. She says Marco’s group got obliterated. This doesn’t necessarily give the impression the Japanese does. The Japanese subs for the episode where this is mentioned says Marco suffered a crushing defeat and the old mangastream says overwhelming defeat. The term for that type of defeat is Zenpai, put either into G translate and you’ll get that and you can hear Robin saying it in Japanese. I looked up the Japanese page on -mangareader to- and the kanji for Zenpai is indeed on the page. It’s different because when you just say Marco’s group was taken out it doesn’t fully capture Blackbeard’s threat. Even saying his group diminishes the 1v1 aspect. I’m not trying to make this solely about powerscaling it’s just an example I recently looked into

Small mistake. Egghead is not powered by fusion energy. Lilith describes that she's always looking for things to burn in order to generate power. And she poses the creation of an artificial sun as a hypothetical. We're still missing something. IMO, Pandora is the fusion core. The artificial sun. That's why the island doesn't run on fusion energy. Because it would be inhumane. Vegapunk made the reactor to run tests on Pandora, but put it away in storage till he could produce a sun that isn't sentient. York then tricks Pandora, locks him in the fusion reactor, and ships him off to the WG.

I don’t think I agree with the water displacement theory. How would landmass disappearing cause the entire surface area of ocean on the planet to rise by a meter? Even if your saying water on the coastline was vaporized, the surface area of the planet’s oceans must be so much more than that. I think from what we see with earthquakes across the whole planet, the tectonic shifting is causing sea level rise. It’s possible the sea level rise is totally unrelated to Lulusia, it was 6 days later and wasn’t specifically said to be connected events, just that people were unaware it had happened.
Whatever weapon Imu used to destroy Lulusia could possible deatroy the entire world if it keeps being used. I believe the earthquake was former by the sheer impact of the attack. It just took 6 days to form

Being an official reader strictly I love that you brought up translation differences you should make this the normal because a lot of people take the translation version when In a conversation about official stuff making it harder to have consistent discussion
Official isn’t necessarily correct though. We need the Japanese scans sometimes to see what makes more sense. In this instance I think tcb is more accurate it doesn’t fit the mood for Aokiji to legitimately be saying Garp where are you going you’re wounded I’m worried about you. His expressions don’t imply it either

People have been talking about this for a while you can look it up if you don’t believe me it’s not just One Piece it’s Manga in general translations can be different. Another example I recently looked up is when Robin talks about Marco being defeated by Blackbeard. The Viz can give slightly different impression. She says Marco’s group got obliterated. This doesn’t necessarily give the impression the Japanese does. The Japanese subs for the episode where this is mentioned says Marco suffered a crushing defeat and the old mangastream says overwhelming defeat. The term for that type of defeat is Zenpai, put either into G translate and you’ll get that and you can hear Robin saying it in Japanese. I looked up the Japanese page on -mangareader to- and the kanji for Zenpai is indeed on the page. It’s different because when you just say Marco’s group was taken out it doesn’t fully capture Blackbeard’s threat. Even saying his group diminishes the 1v1 aspect. I’m not trying to make this solely about powerscaling it’s just an example I recently looked into

IMO, Pandora is the fusion core. The artificial sun. That's why the island doesn't run on fusion energy. Because it would be inhumane. Vegapunk made the reactor to run tests on Pandora, but put it away in storage till he could produce a sun that isn't sentient. York then tricks Pandora, locks him in the fusion reactor, and ships him off to the WG.

I don’t think I agree with the water displacement theory. How would landmass disappearing cause the entire surface area of ocean on the planet to rise by a meter? Even if your saying water on the coastline was vaporized, the surface area of the planet’s oceans must be so much more than that.
I think from what we see with earthquakes across the whole planet, the tectonic shifting is causing sea level rise.
It’s possible the sea level rise is totally unrelated to Lulusia, it was 6 days later and wasn’t specifically said to be connected events, just that people were unaware it had happened.
