The point you ended on always made me wonder. If Luffy is a mythical zoan based on a One Piece specific diety wouldn't it make sense if he had the power of a One Piece specific element. That element being pyrobloin.. PYRObloin... I've been saying this since gear 5 was awakened and its that Luffy is a living island cloud... It makes all of Luffy's abilities makes sense as you can make almost anything with it... The skypieans literally built their city with that stuff. It can have the density of water, rubber, even steel... Thats how luffy was able to make those goggles.. and if you look at how luffy fights with snakeman its the same way that Ohm(one of enels priests) used his sword which was also made of island cloud material... Even egghead island is surrounded by the stuff...

Well in regards to Doffys attack, the heat could be generated from the friction of the strings rubbing against each other and vibrating at an high frequency (kinda like how guitar strings heat up when they are plucked or strummed). Dunno about Katakuri tho... maybe it has something to do with how mochi is cooked lol

when it comes to the concept of elemental haki: after Vegapunk confirmed that Devil Fruits form into existence through the wishes and dreams of the world - does that not just sound like conqueror’s haki? I think Shanks can create fire literally just because he wants to.

If shanks conquerors haki can crush Wb ship like spiritual pressure, I think you can control it enough and use it like the force. I think Dragon has enough mastery of haki that he can control the elements (Create giant gusts of wind, thunderstorms)

i feel like the elemental properties some characters can produce like fire and lightning are related to desire/haki, and when that desire is strong enough it can eventually manifest into a devil fruit for someone else to inherit. maybe someone similar to sanji was the person who created the mera mera no mi. and i think this also applies to the cursed blades, the way they can seemingly have attitude is the remnants of past wielders' will.
From what was explained the fruits aren't created by a specific individual but by the collective creative and desires of humanity as a whole... but you are right, maybe Haki from an individual can reshape reality in some way in order to create these attacks...

If your thoughts on Haki being energy, it could be life-force. Conquerors being able to knock people out could play into that. They’re people with a strong natural affinity due to their wills to be able to control not just the life force of others, but their own.

I think Tekking was around but he wasn't really the OP Tekking until about 2015/16. Rogersbase came to One Piece a little later or I might've discovered him later.. KOL, Double4 and Forneverworld been the premier One piece tubers for me. They been around the Longest but KOL the only one who stayed relevant to me 😭

I agree with everything this man says. I believe the next natural step of Haki will be using the energy around you and not just what it is inside of you. Some sort of Naruto's nature chakra or the Ki in all things used in the Genkidama. In a very limited version thought, like a small plus that can be used once per fight.

And about Okuchi no Makami and Yamato you can read One Piece magazine Vol. 13, And about Yamato Okuchi no Makami hagoromo(ribbon like cloud surrounded Yamato body) is different from Awakening Zoan df(Kaido and Momo also the same), I had an idea the reason why Zoan awakening has Hagiromo surrounded their body when their used Awakened form because in Japanese mythology Hagoromo used by Tennin(heavenly people) so in Onepiece Oda might be wanted to differentiate which one failed which one not, and maybe also describe the Zoan user managed to "Transcendence" to next form, for Kaido, Momo and Yamato is completely different(kaido and Momo is actually their flame cloud and Yamato is cold air surrounded the user body)👍

Maybe the fire aspect does have to do with passion. Sanji being the most passionate has the most use/output. Everyone that has used fire that you stated are all passionate people(although same could be said about many others). Sanji in general, zero for the sword, kinemon for his wife, luffy for his brother. For Yamato, it could be something other than Fire, but have a similar aura like appearance. Perhaps while fighting kaido, the ice/cold represents her feelings towards her dad. Maybe other elements dictate a different state of feeling.

The thing with Shanks is a bit iffy since they literally stated they made up abilities for the Red Haired Pirates since they didn’t wanna spoil their ACTUAL abilities.
So we don’t know how accurate it is for Shanks to be able to ignite his sword

@@kaleomungin According to the translation (which is super rough) the director stated he wanted to make up abilities for them that way they wouldn’t reveal anything before the manga ever did. He even asked Oda for ideas for these made up abilities
So yeah we can assume Lucky Roo doesn’t actually turn into a ball. He might if Oda wants to incorporate that but as of now none of their abilities are actually CONFIRMED
Maybe fire could be the other side of the Haki coin. If the Lunarian race is the oldest race we know about alongside the ancient giants, maybe current humans are distant descendants of Lunarians that lost some of their innate abilities. Haki could be replicating King's indestructible body while this fire thing would be replicating, well... his fire.

The plot is still kind of underselling the SHs, as it normally does, and the significance of Luffy teaming up with Vegapunk (which will likely put them on a trajectory with the RA). At least explicitly it is not sold as anything more than a "rescue mission", though the plot machinations are in place to make this as hard and perhaps costly as possible, with a whole Marine fleet with Kizaru and Jay Garcia coming, a betrayal going on, with the biggest number of Seraphim anywhere, and even BB getting involved.

Re reading one piece I can say that the Devil fruits Are mostly conceptual powers. We have characters that can influence natural things with their powers. Other characters
No you were right. Its just stretching more. Fire is simply cool and many characters have fire as a side effect like Mr3 flmae on top of his head. He can not imagine a flame or a sword. Its simply friction or style. After allthey never used the fire from their attacks offensively. They never burned domeone or lit something up
Hell even Kinnemon has fire abilities as a side effect
I think outside "true" flames, the "spiritual flames" generated by Zoro, the flames generated by Sanji and the flames generated by Luffy's red hawk for example, are likely Haki related.
Hellfire is a long tradition in dnd as a counter to "fire" immunity. It's just hotter than hot, or rather more haki than yours.

i always wondered why in one piece why races have unique powers. fishmen can just control water, minks can produce electricity, and lunarians can produce fire. i also wondered how carrot can literally change her direction mid-air. in chapter 804 carrot just floated upwards to dodge zoro's slash. it probably has to do with magnetic fields or something
This doesn't relate much to the topic, but just a thought I had. It could also be possible that Nika was a Lunarian with the title "Sun God", possibly a title held by a Lunarian with very strong/hot/white fire--very similar to Ryuma and his title of "Sword God". Obviously Lunarians had some sort of connection to the "Great Kingdom" and all of it's technological advances, this could explain why Nika has all these other powerful attributes--afterall it's very possible that Devil Fruits originated in this kingdom, or at least their precursors. If Vegapunk is able to make artificial devil fruits, they very possibly could had created the original fruits.
This may also explain why the World Government hunted down Lunarians in fear of another "Sun God" appearing AND hunted down the fruit as-well, so they had to have someone knowledgeable about Nika's powers, I think the answer is obvious at this point--Imu. All this just to say that maybe Luffy's vitality, resilience and fire powers come from the fact that his fruit is Lunarian in nature.

Maybe when someone breaks through a specific limit they can manipulate elements( lighting and fire), wait I just thought of something what if people are able to use powers like devil fruits but the people nowadays are not as powerful as the people of the past , and all of the people we see now manipulating elements , turning into animals was normal and naturally for the people back then ( beginning of the world-800 years ago) like magic for an example ( ancient energy)
I think most of these fire attacks are air friction related. They are probably moving/shaking their attacks so fast fire is created. This makes the most sense to me at least. I think fire being produced from haki is just dumb.

So sanji is saying if you have enough willpower you can command elements or specifically for him fire. We see a lot of strong haki users that have bouts including lightning = plasma = fire. Basically enough haki willlet you have some control over your surroundings including their elements.
I think nika was a different person from joy boy from a race that has rubber properties. Nika ate the flame fruit and got the sun god title. When nika died they took his bloodline elements and made the Nika fruit, the nika fruit has fire powers because nikas corpse still had some remaining bloodline elements from the flame fruit.
I mean most of the mythical Zoan's we've seen so far has a secondary logia like ability aside from the animal zoan form

I'm still convinced that Buggy's devil fruit is like Luffy's devil fruit. In that it's also a mythical zoan devil fruit.
Man, Im waiting for Oda to finally reveal what Logia awakenings are about, because so far the goddamn Fire fruit itself seems like the most basic application of fire compared to all the busted ways other characters use it. Hope Logia awakenings are crazy so the Mera Mera shows why its above other fire-wielding powers. Like, idk, make it some Amaterasu black flames that can't be extinguished or something like that.

It is called (devil fruits) power .. so I think they ultimately all have some power element to it and it depends on the devil that made the fruit and or posses the fruits … while some devils can produce little or no fire at all (lower level devils) while other fires come from nature (sun, haki and energy around us in general) since all energy can ultimately produce heat with a little tweaking (electricity,gas,even movement and aroma clashing) soo yeah .. there is actually a theory video I need to make. About why Luffy has white flames when "Sun Entites" in media are portrayed as orange/red. It's on of those details that porbably has a lot more thought put into it than what it seems. Like the Sun does emmit WHITE light to be refracted into all other colors by the atmosphere. We'll need some Nika folklore to understand that better. I has a friend who told me that the Monster Trio represent Jesus in The Book of Revelations, with brasen feet, white hair, sword in mouth, and a yellow band at the waist.

We've already seen Mother Flame. In 1065 Lilith says that she's always looking for things to burn, theorizes about an undying flame, and then says "we could make our own sun".
In 1069 titled "all things are brought into this world" the cover page is the key. The MADS steam powered paddleboat. Normal paddleboats generate steam by burning stuff. This produces a black smoke from the smokestack. But the MADS ship is emitting a pure white cloud. This implies that the heat source isn't producing smoke as you would expect. It much more resembles the steam which nuclear reactors produce.
So what's the deal? Why was the MADS ship seemingly powered by a more advanced method than Egghead itself? Well, what if the power source was created by a devil fruit user? If the MADS ship had to be abandoned at some point, then Vegapunk would have lost access to that power source.
Where did Vegapunk get the idea to make a sun? I think he got the idea from the MADS ship's power source. Mother's flame. None other than Mother Carmel's sentient cigarette lighter, made from all the fires of a burning Elbaf, Pandora.
If the government found the MADS ship floating at sea, and salvaged it they may have found Pandora at the heart of the reactor. If they asked him who made him, he would just say "Mother" as that's how he refers to Mother Carmel. The WG would assume it was Vegapunk's creation but might still call it The Mother Flame in reference to his response.
Now I doubt that's the whole story. Pandora may just be the powersource for Uranus, or maybe some weapon based on Uranus. But I'm pretty sure he is indeed the source of power behind the destruction of Lulusia.
A Pandora's box is a term which refers to any development that cannot be reversed. Like nuclear proliferation or say the emergence of an unlimited power source.

I don't think Kaido's giant fire dragon "Flame Torch" move has anything to do with his flame clouds, since even Momo could touch those withtout pain, and we'ven seen Kaido's not immune to his own fire attacks, like when both Raizo and Luffy reversed his Blast Breath back at him.
