Garp teaching Aokiji how to brawl is something that makes a lot of sense but no one really saw it coming. He just seems like a squishy AoE type of fighter.
The Admirals being squishy would make sense from a looks department when we first saw them but once I saw the eternal aftermath left at Punk Hazard I knew that they must have all had some of that main character "get tough or die trying" training! XD Except maybe Kizaru. Emphasis on the word maybe.
