Hello 👋 David here, I have been a movie buff for over fifty years and I have mixed emotions about this movie. I saw it on Netflix Friday May 3, 2024. I thought the overall look of the movie was great and had a nostalgia overload feel to it. The most inappropriate scene of the movie I would like to discuss here. If you have not seen the movie, stop 🛑 reading the following review. I was referring to the very disrespectful reference to January 6 insurrection. 7 people were killed and many others were injured, please explain how this is funny? It even has dialogue that was spoken on that dark day in America 🇺🇸. I feel that Mr Signfeld and his co writer owe a public apology to the families and the public for that scene in their movie. Please let me know your thoughts here on my thoughts. Thanks and See you at the movies 🍿
