for anyone attempting to hate on this movie, i want you to pay attention to the laughter of jerry seinfeld and jim gaffigan in the beginning of this interview. jerry is at a age where he’s making art that he and his peers are entertained by. he just wants to laugh with his friends.
Making "art"??? You must be joking. (No laughter.) And because another comedian laughs doesn't mean that it's funny for the rest of us. Yeah, just laugh with his friends. Or with himself. It's called self-indulgence.
when the idea of comedy /entertainment is very wealthy celebrities talking to other very wealthy celebrities .. too much gets lost .. remind us .. why do we care??
Amazing that you're able to bring this into a thing that we can now see! Great work! I'm certain you had brilliant support making it all show how you wanted it to show, and yes, we totally get it! 🤣🤣🤣
I used to take care of the material handling equipment at Kelloggs. There was an issue with a pipe that carried chocolate and there was a literal river of chocolate that I had to step over. Not sure why I'm telling this story, but it sure seems like it would be a great part in a movie.
Unfrosted originally was not about PopTarts at all. It was focused on the real world war which occurred when Frosted Flakes were stripped bare of their sugar coating and went into battle with Corn Flakes. I recall reading in the Times that there were many casualties and tiny fragments of cereal were strewn all over the cereal bowl, yet there was no clear winner. It was an absolute massacre and the fight continues through this day with occasional skirmishes arising on the previously calm waters of soy or skim milk.
Currently, Unfrosted has a 30% rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 30 professional reviews. "Unfrosted is one big steaming pile...," Barry Hertz of Globe and Mail wrote. "A distressingly laugh-free affair that is, as Larry might say, pretty, pretty, pretttttyyyyyyy bad." "Oh, well.
My favorite standup bit about Pop Tarts is from Paula Poundstone. She talks about the image of the tarts on the box, a cross-section where you can see “all the tasty goodness.” Not to mention the instructions on the box for preparation of the tarts for eating, which seem pretty unnecessary.
i was at his comedy show and he made a joke, "theres no such thing as chinese food in china" and i was the only person who laughed...then realized america is a horde of zombies.
That dope interviewer with the clown tie basically called Gaffigan old right at the end of the interview. The other interviewer was wagging his leg like he was about to open Christmas presents. What happen to professionalism on TV ?? Gayle is always good. She is very centered and professional. The other two seem like too happy and the other scared to be there by almost frowning when anyone looks at him in fear. Oh my God. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 On the other hand, Seinfeld and Gaffigan are completely relaxed and calm. That's what hosts should act like.
I can't wait for Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan movie Unfrosted.... "Comedians driving cars getting Coffee " I so enjoyed this year ! Great escape from our hideous politics !! Happy Birthday Jerry !!
Hmmm, it seems the job of 'director' is not just about setting camera angles or providing stage direction, but instead having to deal with every department coming up to you constantly for approval. I was a district manager for several years, and while part of my job was training, it was the organizational/operational questions that consumed most of my time.
Seems like yesterday he was young and starting his own show. A show whose situations disappear in the age of cell phones. Most of it is waiting for someone to show up, or trying to get someplace on time. Kids watch it thinking " why doesn't he just call her cell phone"
Sounds like a great film. Love Jim, and Jerry, and JS always gives jobs to other comics. The only time I had Pop-Tarts as a kid was when we went to Boy Scout camp and went to the 'trading post'. Same with Frosted Flakes. My mom was not a fan of sugary cereals.
LOVE this card. I am going through my stash to see what I can use to create something similar. Have you seen the new 2024 colors of ZIG clean color brushes? I was over whelmed and have not purchased any yet. I would love to see you make something with Zigs soon. Thanks
They keep saying "is this a true story" about the incident that happened on set...like it's kind of weird that our media thinks everything's a lie...lmao
Jim Gaffigan… One of the funniest Comedians out there and… Clean… You’ll never hear the F word out of this guy. Also Paula Poundstone is excellent and Stephen Wright! 😊❤
What’s the deal… with replacing the C with a K, on Cereal boxes. Krave, Cocoa Krisspess… We’re setting up our children to be delinquients. Of the Ks in Kwestion, Special K is the only one that belongs, But it’s the healthy cereal no kid wants. When dad is reading the paper in the morning, The Kids are reading the boxes. They think Misspelling is Kool, it’s Krisp, it’s ok… So when mom ask why their child got a C on the report card, They’ll listen in horror as their child says “I thought that was a K.”

I bet this movie is hilarious for no other reason than it is written and acted by comedians who actually get comedy, meaning the willingness to poke fun at things regardless of the woke nonsense. Funny is funny even on difficult or controversial subjects.
Why is the guy on the right side constantly referring to stuff, he asked Jerry beforehand? Why not ask the questions during the interview to get a fresh response?
"Let's just have fun" Thanks Jerry & Jim!
Loved the movie, threw me right back to my childhood of breakfast cereals! Poptarts were the most exciting invention. The movie was crazy fun!!
Next movie should be about “Hot Pockets”, if you are a Jim G fan
Ha😂
Excellent idea!
Hilarious
hahaha Yes!
"Will it burn my mouth?" "It will destroy your mouth." will be the tagline.
Just when I became old enough, Jerry was the first headliner I saw in a comedy club back in the 80’s. I paid 98 cents to see him. LOL
did you tip the waiter ??
I wouldn’t even pay that now
Jerry looks like he could be in his 50s. That’s amazing.
Well it's only amazing when those fail to live in the future.
My two favorite comedians...
Grape Nuts..... what's up with that? No grapes. No nuts.
Who's the Ad wizard that came up with that one?
Good in yogurt❤️
I love both of these guys! I don’t think you needed to dye your eyebrows Jerry!! You look great.
How is no one mentioning the lack of an elephant in the room?? Jim Gaffagan is THIN. He looks great!! 15 years younger.
I noticed!
Bc they are all on ozempic hope it's not bad for you 20 years later but that pill Def works
Wow .. he looks absolutely incredible for 70!

Damn Gayle, read the whole movie why don't you. Leave the comedy to the pros
Gayle is so weird, was she having a stroke she kept asking "is this a true story?"
Thought the same thing.
Yep
I love Seinfeld and Gaffigan. Very clean humor. No F bombs.
From a show about nothing to a movie about pop tarts. He's beginning to take life more seriously. : )
Should be about cereal.😁
There was also a movie about a bug or something in between there...

Who else suddenly wants a pop-tart?

Jerry Seinfeld the gift that keeps on giving! Looking forward to this movie!

I do love that whole Paula Poundstone bit!
Jim Gaffigan is funny without even telling a joke.
Wow, the hosts really interrupt and interject a lot, the pace is so frenetic.
Mister Brian Regan should have had a prominent role in this movie, given his legendary Pop-Tart bit.
Watching these two, is like eating an Almond Joy! Delicious! Better have another!

Jerry looks great for 70. I thought he was 60ish.
He is only 69. 69 is not supposed to look dead.
@alexhue752 I understand that, just saying he looks good for his age. 🤷♂️
Plastic surgery and endless wealth do wonders for the human body.

I can't wait for this to come out!
Jerry does love his breakfast.
And coffee!
Anyone else see a resemblence between Amy S and the blueberry girl from willy wonka???
Jerry has mellowed. Much more pleasant personality than him playing himself in a show or stand-up. This sounds like a fun movie.
Can’t wait to see it!!!
@MelanieJ2002 Thank you for your comment🙇🏻♀ This morning, I referred to this movie. I can't wait to see it either! Best wishes, Andrea S.

Two of my favorites! Too bad though.. definitely missed out on having Brian regan in it.. his pop tart bit is top notch
I do not like the interview style of CBS morning. It feels tense, like their in a competition to ask questions.
