In this story there are three victims and only one oppressor, the mother. The father was deprived of being able to share his daughter's adolescence and was used as a BMT by the w1tch, the daughter went through years of hell and physical and psychological suffering, and the disabled half-sister who did not ask to be born from a betrayal and then having to suffer all his life as a disabled person. The only monsters in this story are the mother and the highly misandric judicial system

Same here. But sadly, even, though OP is getting away from her egg-donor and half-sister, she'll have more trauma coming her way, due to how %£?@ed up they have treated her for years. I predict that, given OP has turned 18, instead of moving in with her dad and going to college with her stepbrother, she'll end up moving in with/marrying a boy who treats her like a princess, one moment, and next, cheats on her, treats her like a slave, and worse, abuses her, not only emotionally/mentally, financially, but also, verbally, and physically, to the point of landing her in an ambulance, traps her (there's a possibility that she doesn't have birth control on her ⚠️), in order to isolate her from her father and his new family, because he's paranoid that OP will break up with him, and even, threatens to do away with her if she moves in with them, then, OP will have to have the police and DV social workers help her pack all her belongings (including her legal documents, sentimental items/valuables, etc.), take her to another town, put her belongings in a storage facility there, and check her into a motel for the night, escape to another state (and transfer her belongings to another storage facility therein), because she's scared that her husband and birth giver will not only lie to courts that she's an unfit mother, in order, to take her kid away from her, but also subject him to the same cruelty her birth giver subjected her to, stay temporarily at a women's shelter shelter, find a cheaper apartment, take online college courses, and work two or more minimum wage jobs (not only that, but also, apply for government assistance, Medicaid, and food stamps/SNAP benefits), to support herself and her kid, ask neighbors to babysit for her because she won't have her dad, stepmother, stepbrother, her dad's best friend, or any friends in her new state to take her under their wing; all she and her kid will have is each other, and instead of finding new love, or for that matter, getting married again (just like her dad had), OP will need to keep potential boyfriends/husbands at bay (even, if some of the men are more like her dad and stepbrother), concentrate on her mental health, raising her kid, his needs/health/welfare/happiness, and giving him a stable home. Plus, in order to pay for baby supplies/necessities, baby-related expenses, and maternity expenses, she'll have to have social services place her sister in a group home, as leverage to scare her mother into giving her back every dollar of her child support.⚠️

I care for kids and adults with disabilities and I will tell you what OP is saying here is all too common. There really are parents who will pawn off all the responsibility onto another kid and cause them to basically give up their entire childhood because they can't bother. Because of this, it is not an unusual situation for a child to wait until they turn 18 and then leave and never return because of this. None of this is the fault of the sister as she did not choose to be born this way or be put in this situation. I've even heard of parents who have a disabled child going so far is to have another kid just to raised to be a caregiver and little else. The mother could have certainly been able to get some kind of aid for the daughter or CNA.
OP has every right to be upset here and to want to go live her own life and make up for all the lost time.
I've seen many parents who have a disabled child find a way to make sure that responsibility is shared and it's not put on the kids. As well as not neglecting other children. It's not easy but it can definitely be done

My advice would be to brace for an unexpected reunion with the sister only. From the sounds of it, if the sister was cognisant of OP's presence, the biggest positive moments might be from when OP was taking care of her, and OP might have unwillingly taken over the role of a maternal figure in her sister's life because of the parentification. As such, even assuming this doesn't repeat in the sister's teen years, I'd be bracing for her asking to live with OP when she gets old enough to gain independence assuming average ability levels or enough to chart her own course in life.

However, to project all of your hatred to the sister and attacking her personally by calling her "nothing" and "useless" and flat out saying you hate her is just wrong and vindictive. Her hatred needs to be 100% on the abusive deadbeat mom.
I have sadly heard about this happening in a lot of families, even when the child isnt forced to care for a disabled sibling. They grow to resent them out of jealously when in reality its out of everyone's control, the disabled person still is a human being, has basic rights, and is entitled to some respect and care. No disabled person is happy about the condition they are in, they deserve empathy to.

Op and her dad is never an asshole. First of all op's dad don't have to pay any money to a baby who is not even his, whether child is disabled or not. If that so called mother wanted mony for her disabled child she should find the man sperm owner not the other one. The audacity of people to still ask for the op's dad to pay for their aka op's mom lack of responsibility is really beyond disbelief. You reap what you do. So basically they got their karma. And the only kind thing op has to do is call social service for her half sister. So that she can be saved from her so called mother. That's it...

  • @GamerSmacks

OK is this fake for one major reason, she change the age she was when her sister was born from 7 to 10 in the recap post at the end. That's not something you typically mess up on considering on, especially not with a 3 year gap. Also OP being a teen with tons of proof of miss use of child support she could have collected, and the fact that her testimony of neglect and mental abuse probably would hold more weight in court then the mom who cheated on her husband saying "well he used to do weed" especially after a few years of living together. No the child doesn't get to choose who to live with, but that doesn't mean that their opinion doesn't matter. Also IDFK what state this was suppose to take place in but I've never heard of any court choosing an at fault person caught red handed with testimony from the daughter, over a dad who got caught doing drugs once and turned his life around (unless he got the charge while he had the child). That would be like having a someone who accidentally killed someone drunk driving, turned his life around after getting out of prison, getting accused of murder, none of the evidence points against him but he get convicted because he killed someone in a DUI so he must have killed this person. An extreme analogy but you get it. What I'm saying is he should have at least gotten dual guardianship.
