It doesn't have anything to do with you mate. It's all on her poor decision making. My ex wife did a similar thing. I worked too much. She was lonely. He was there for her. So on and so forth. He had no job. Came to me after I moved out asking for money to pay the light bill. I slowly shut the door in her face.

This reminds me of a dude who used to come into the bar I worked at. He had like two kids, two step kids, and like 4 adopted kids. Made good money, great dad. Wife runs off to fool around. He says he wants custody of all the kids and for her to never bother them again. She says okay, but I want that classic car you rebuilt. He didn't even hesitate. Said it was the best trade he's ever made. She traded her kids for a car.

"Great dad", yeah sure. Look at the mother he gave his kids. I'm tired of men getting away with marrying trash women.
Imagination if your sister leased a room in her house out to a single guy with twins. The guy worked at McDonald's part time and said he was trying to get back on his feet. He'd been sober for 6 months, so your sister thinks he's good to go. He's also tall and attractive. She marries him. Bro, she'd have to eat that decision. Nobody would feel sorry for her.

I meanseriously, having a provider husband might be practical, but there's absolutely no spark there, no romance, no love. It's just a dead marriage.

@@XMaster340 Well, there's one thing you might've forgotten about in this story; He only worked so many hours because his lazy ass wife didn't want to work to support their three kids. You don't have the right to complain about the relationship if you choose to be a stay-at-home wife with three kids that need a lot of money to support. Get a job, and you'll be able to see your husband/wife more often at home. More people working means less of a need to stay overtime at work to support your family's financial health.
Edit, but, in my honest opinion, the fault for this situation is probably more on OP's side for marrying a person who's homeless that wants to be a 'stay-at-home wife'. That shit reeks of entitlement.

People today should be grateful that their partners are working hard, so the house is well maintained. But I guess people think differently.
Also, why didn't she talk about her wants and needs? Because women still think that we men can f*cking read minds like Professor X.
Something that bothers me, is that when women say shit like, "You don't spend time with me", "You're always gone for days", or my favorite "You are not as affectionate as before", well if you don't want him to work as much then how about you get a part time job or a full time job and help him release some of his tension thag he has about finances. She was gone for a few months and eventually showed back up begging for my friend to take her back. He never did. I’m not sure where she is now but I honestly hope she’s doing okay. i came to the very same conclusion. however imho the drugs are secondary, the primary problem is unwillingness to take responsibility for your own actions or lack thereof, facing your own problems and emotions, victimizing yourself, blaming others, deflecting, lying, cheating, deceiving, manipulating etc. and those patterns of behaviour are present before substance consumption
I don't think drugs fundamentally changes you, but then all i base my judgment is my own (past ?) alcohol consumption and some friends weed consumption. Hopefully gone for good (almost no alcohol consumption in 2 months).

She let the son use the phone to tell you happy birthday and hopes that it would suck on your heart strings enough since she knows how much you love those kids

If it wasnt the work hours, it would've been any other issue. If it wasn't the mechanic, it would've been anyone else.
The reality is that she was always the problem, and never would've dealt with her issues. Even when threatening self ending, she just blamed everyone else. No accountability, no care for others. Just whatever her interest in that very moment is.

Scorched earth! Many moons ago my uncle was much like this. He worked alot and his wife was a stay at home wife who cheated fairly regularly. They bought a new trans am back in the 90s. One day while at work a friend of his came up and asked when he got back. He asked him what he meant as he has been there all morning. His friend tells him that's weird he just saw his wife with another man he assumed was my uncle driving around in that new car. My uncle called the bank and told them to come get the car right now because he wasn't making another fricken payment. He should do the same, call the bank and tell them he isn't making another payment. Come get it if they want it. Her living is her problem.

those kids are going through it -- their words make that clear, but it seems that the way they are reacting shows that they understand on some level the depth of whats going on

5:30 i tell you what she wanted. To have a rich husband who is also only ever at home, and money is not an issue. Nice dream... unrealistic but for a DREAM it is nice. I bet everyone would love to have a rich bff with benefits.

A better dream would've been that she herself could be rich without needing anyone else, but of course parasites will always need a host.

All the " good men" are getting their dicks sucked by meth heads. How long will it take to reverse all the bad decisions you folks have made? That little girl problem has a disability from her mom's drug use.
