It's so true and it's one of the things that makes this film so hilarious, every time you rewatch it you notice little lines that in the chaos 😂 One funny bit I didn't notice the first time is Wahlberg constantly thinking it's cartel gangsters that are attacking them despite it clearly being a financial crime, "Look out! It's the Colombians!"

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but Mark's playing it like he's got no idea what Will's just said, so he's looking back and forth to confirm that his partner is actually speaking in another language to the waiter. He's pissed, not at the waiter, but at yet another curveball his partner has thrown him. Guy just wants a normal partner and his is speaking Mandarin.

I have no idea who the female lead in these scenes is but she does such an unreal job. Her head tilt to Telly, the fact that she reprimands Telly for mispronouncing her name as she misprounces his, the fact that she has beat the lecture about her name into her husbands name to the effect that she mouths it while he says it. Its brilliant. As is she.

I have no rational reason why/can't explain why but the funniest part of the whole movie to me is when she slams him up against the cabinet. I saw this in theaters and my GF at the time almost made me leave the theater because I was out of control laughing. It's just so extreme and sudden and the way Will Ferrell just flails around is the chef's kiss on top of the scene.
Its also because she is very small and skinny and beatin the hell outta a bigger man 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I died laughing. She is very funny

Adam McKay always manages to tackle some kind of major issue underneath all of the insane dialogue and comedy in all of his movies
The Other Guys is one of my favorite underrated comedy movies along with The Nice Guys.
