Just a tip to spiralizer fans, save the left over vegetable ends in a container in the freezer- the next time you need to make vegetable stock you will have a big chunk of the prep done.
Hi Liza, I was just searching on youtube about spiralizer and I came across your channel, and then I can't stop watching your videos for more than 3 hours straight because I love your healthy, inspiring, and exciting ideas that I can't wait to try. I am very happy that I found you on youtube and by sharing about your healthy lifestyle, especially on food and organizing the kitchen I will be able to incorporate that into my lifestyle. Thank you so much for all of this amazing information and you can count on me to follow your blogs from now on. God will bless you with great health and enjoy a happy life.
Just received my Paderno spiralizer yesterday so I went out to my favorite market here in Hamilton MT and bought organic purple cabbage, carrots, yams, and a black radish, which I’d never seen before(about the size of a tennis ball) and various apples. As well as zucchini of course! It’s going to be a fun afternoon! I’ll keep you posted.
Hello Liza, I just purchased my very first spiralizer. I bought a few veggies to try it out. The results just cady to the eyes and you want to dive instantly and eat them. Your videos are simple and easy to follow. Thank you for your all effort and time.
I am going vegan for a month next month, as an experiment. I just bought a spiralizer to make my dishes more appealing. I cannot WAIT to use it! I am so excited! Honestly, I got super happy when I saw that pretty head of cabbage in your hand! YAY! My food is going to be so pretty!
Had no idea you could spiralize a sweet potato or yam! Wow! I’m purchasing one for myself and family who are healthy eating conscience! Thanks for the great demo!
Dot from UK Recently bought a spiralizer and watched your video just now to get some tips, I'm so glad I did as I didn't know which veg to start with. Thank you for sharing with me and your followers most helpful. The tip for making stock was also very useful, thanks. Stay safe, best wishes from Dot.
Thank you so much for these helpful videos. I hope you don't change a thing. The music is subtle, you're relaxing to listen to and make everything simple to replicate. Thank you for everything!
This is amazing!!! I love the tutorial. The presentation was excellent. I was just going to make a cabbage slaw but you inspired me to add onion. Unfortunately, my onion was very strong and I cried. But it added so much my slaw. Thank you for showing me that even carrots can be spiralized. You are an inspiration!,
1//3/20 I just found you! I bought a spiralizer and love it! Thank you for the demos. Very direct not a lot of unnecessary verbiages. The spiralizer is an easy tool that does so much!
i'm not gluten free but i recently got a hand-me-down veg spiralizer i had no idea what to do with. this video is great because it opened up my options, and i hate chopping. 😅 thank you!
I just watched this video three years later and it hasn't lost any of importance in healthy cooking! Love your videos I just started to watching them in 2021. I liked followed and pushed the bell icon. Keep it up!
Yay- great video❣️ needed these ideas as I just found the same spiralizer at Ross for $6.49!! I love it and I realized first use that this is phenomenal for salads! I ate two bowls of zucchini noodles raw with pesto..would never have done that otherwise lol..so, so fantastic.
Hi guys! Today I've got the ultimate spiralizer guide for you. I'm sure by now you know my love for zucchini noodles, but let's not forget there's SO many other vegetables to spiralize. Let's spiralize all the colors of the rainbow! And let me know below...what's your favorite veggie to spiralize? - Lisa xo
The options really are endless. :) Next week I have a new recipe coming to the blog with spiralized cabbage, so you may be interested in that one. Thanks Mary!
Yeah. The little ones definitely have a harder time with odd shapes and harder veggies (like parsnips and sweet potatoes). I think once you buy a "big" one you'll be glad you did. ;) x
I just happened onto your site and am so glad I did! I also suffer from an autoimmune disorder-arthritis. Although being mostly vegetarian and conscious of what I eat and how I live it’s become clear that even more steps need to be taken. So your recipes and tips and instructions are very timely. You inspire me because you make it so simple to make big changes. And fun too!
Think of it like this... our cells are linked rooms with engines running in them. The mitochondria are the engines, and bio-copper and magnesium tune them to max energy and min acidic exhaust. The copper-bases anti-oxidant enzymes are like a catalytic converter. They reduce the acidic exhaust when working correctly. When bio-copper is low, the mitochondria perform like anhootpie on the road pitching out black smoke and chugging along. The Root Cause Protocol focuses on optimizong the engine and the catalytic converter. Vegans and alkalarianism is blind to this component. If these don't work right because bio-copper is low, you will have oxidative stress issues and inflammatory issues no matter what your diet looks like. However, the Root Vause Protocol is blind to the state of the room in which the engine and catalytic converter operate, and how diet can impact that room. On an acidic diet, the body bruns up alkaline minerals, and copper according to Dr. Young, to neutralize thenexcess acid. That's instant bio-copper depletion right there, even if you follow the RCP, which does not take into account this acidic effect of one's diet. So, you need two things working... the room (and interstitial fluid) should be alkaline (or at least not uber acid and on its way towards alkaline), the mitochondria needs to be properly tuned with bio-copper and magnesium, and the copper-based antioxidant enzymes need to be fully energized. ... The solution is to eat alkaline, along with the highest quality natural organ meats and the highest quality cod liver oil.
you learn something new everyday! I've looked everywhere for good veg noodles. I found some on amz called "skinny .. or something" but they are really expensive and made from some powdered things i've never heard of - but they are only 9g carbs. I'm diabetic so if I ate regular pasta which is about 50g carbs I'd go through the roof! I can imagine using this to make variations of spaghetti squash style noodles but with acorn or butternut. Thanks so much!
Loved the video - I have not been this adventurous with mine - loved the variety you showed - and the wise tip on the beets ! Excited to start "spiralizing" a whole lot more. Thanks Lisa :)
Yes, brightly colored veggies can definitely stain, so it's always best to wash right away. But all that color just means lots of healthy nutrients and antioxidants for the body! :)
This is great and thanks for the tips! I am rekindling my once great love for using a spiralizer--it sort of got put away at some point, alone and forgotten. I will be spiralizing all those veggies and more!! One thing that kinda baffled me though was why did anyone dislike this video? I mean, did they not approve of the veggies being used or were they offended by the blade choices used on certain kinds? Who clicks on a spiralizer guide video, gets tons of great ideas, then hits a thumbs down?? Maybe they were hoping for daredevil stunts or a high speed car chase while a sweet potato turned into swirls? Anyway! This was very helpful so thanks very much from my end!
Yay - I'm happy it rekindled your spiralizer love! And thanks for the kind words! I laughed out loud at your comment on the thumbs down. I'm totally with you. I have no idea why people do that (or why trolls write nasty comments). I just focus on the all the positive, constructive and helpful folks in this lovely community - such as yourself! :) x
This video is so calming and makes me happy in some way :) I love veggies but I only have a spiralizer that looks like a veggie peeler so I can't spiralize all of those veggies you mentioned but it's still great! I need my spiralizer for nearly every meal, wether it's veggie noodles with some sort of sauce or a salad, it's so useful!
I'm happy you enjoyed the video Lisa and thanks so much for you kind words! As long as you have a spiralizer that works for you, that's all that matters. :) x
So so happy to have found your channel. I have gained way too much weight from depression after i lost my dad almost two years ago and i have to also have to take responsibility here - in those two years, i haven't seen the inside of a gym for almost 1.5yrs. Yesterday i decided to stop the pity party, but now i gotta get back to my "HAPPY WEIGHT". I will be using your channel for these delicious low-calories recipes. Wish me luck.
I am so sorry to hear that. I too just recently lost my dad and the stress definitely took a toll on my body. But soon enough you will learn to stay positive and know that keeping your body healthy and nourished will help as well! ❤️
I am scheduled to get my spiralizer this morning. I was already excited but after watching your vid early this morning (I am a terrible insomniac) I am even more excited! I need to go to the grocery this afternoon....why do I expect to pick up a few extra veg :-) I subscribed and am looking forward to watching more vids in the future!
Wow! I have one of those smaller, handheld vertical spiralizers and have considered getting a sturdier one that would make life easier for my zucchini and carrots. But I definitely want an upgrade now after seeing that it could be used on so many fruits and veggies! This video was in my suggested videos, and I'm so glad it was. Subscribing to the channel!
I definitely think a Paderno spiralizer (or similar) is the way to go. It really opens up the options to larger fruits and veggies...and your wrist will thank you. ;) So happy you found my channel Emily and thanks for subscribing. Welcome to the Downshiftology community! xx
Not only does it save on the wrist, but you get 3 blades which do so much more than the twisting models. When I was reading reviews, many complained the Starfrit model didn't have good suction cups. I see the Paderno does. When I bought my similar model (ThinkKitchen), I mentioned this to the saleslady and she took the display model pressed it onto the counter. Then had trouble releasing it. LOL When I tried it at home, I realized all you need to do is slip your fingernail partially under it and it releases fine.
Yes - good suction cups are key! I've never had a problem with mine (even after nearly 6 years) and you're right Sue, just stick your nail under to release (my Paderno actually has a little tab you can pull). But easy peasy!
Thank you I loved this. I just bought a spirlizer, so this was very helpful to me. Enjoyed your video. I have super sensitive eyes too. Putting the onions under water before any slicing or dicing helps alot.
TIP: It is hard to eat those miles-long zucchini noodles! So what I do is stop every 4 or 5 turns & break off the noodles, for shorter noodles. This makes them much easier to mix & eat, and you don't have to chop anything.
I'm new to a spiralizer so this video was so inspirational and confidence-building! Thank you~ Question, what do you do when your spiralizer blades need sharpening?
I just bought mine on Tuesday, im so excited. thank you very much for your post. im definitely motivated to put it to good use. and cause im lazy to chop. your video is amazing.
Thank you so much for this Video! I spent so much time trying to find the right one to buy and also didn’t know what I was doing but this was totally helpful! Thank you thank you
Just bought one today and now thanks to you I know of several things I can make. I was just gonna use it for curly fries but cant wait to make some veggie noodles
Can you do a meal prep video using spiralized ingredients? :) I'd love to see the different ideas you have especially transitioning from Summer to Fall dishes!! Love your videos thank you! -Steph
@@Downshiftology I Yes please! If these are your most commonly used foods, how would you use them? I was curious about the starchy vegetables like sweet potato and parsnip. Would they work as a semi cooked pasta? Also the apple! Wow! Thanks 😊
Özlem Güler When I’m in a time crunch and I need to cook something quick, I’ll make spaghetti using zucchini noodles for me and sweet potato noodles for my daughter. I love the sweet potato noodles, but I don’t need all those carbs. So yes, they work nicely as a pasta substitute.
I tricked my boyfriend into eating zoodles, and he for real thought they were normal spaghetti until I told him they weren't. But to his defence they were covered in home made green pesto, so it was hard to see. Just saying - that the actual consistency (if you turn them over for a couple minutes on the stove, no oil or nothing, to remove water) is almost exactly like normal spaghetti.
Hi Billy, What is a Zoodle? is it a particular type of veggie or any veggie that has been made to look like a noodle? What veggie did you get your boyfriend to eat?
Hey, I am new to your channel and found it because of this video. My wife and I are transitioning into healthier eating habits and our spiralizer will be here tomorrow! This video is the best and most succinct tutorial/recommendation video I have found on this subject and it makes me even more excited to make this lifestyle adjustment. Thank you! Keep up the awesome videos. We will be watching them! Best Regards, Me
Hi Nicholas - thanks so much for your kind words and I'm happy you found my channel! That's exciting you're getting your spiralizer tomorrow - you'll love it! And next week I'm posting a new recipe for parsnip noodle chicken alfredo (with a dairy-free alfredo sauce) that's so so good. I post several new recipes each week on my website, in addition to one video to UA-cam each week, so make sure you subscribe over there as well. Welcome to the community! :)
Hi Donna - I just added it into the description box for you! You can also play around with multiple blades for each vegetable/fruit, so it just depends on your preference. :)
I bought my first slow cooker last spring and am having so much fun with it. Never made more ribs in my life. LOL I decided to Google slow cooker and spiralized vegetables and boy, are there some really good links. Just passing this along in case others never thought to combine the two.
nice video, with a few new to me ideas. A good one to spiralize that you didn't include is chayote, we like it better than zoodles which can get soggy quickly, chayote is very mild and has better texture for pasta.
Wow this makes me regret giving my spiralizer away lol Mine just never seemed to work well. Maybe I'll try a different brand. (I had the one you have).
That's a bummer to hear about your spiralizer. Maybe there was something glitchy with it? The good news is they're only $20 so perhaps a new one will do the trick! Especially now that you've got lots of veggie inspiration. ;)
Those vertical spiralizers are good if you only plan to do zucchini (or narrow veggies). But unfortunately larger veggies like cabbage, rutabaga, sweet potatoes, etc won't fit in the chute unless chopped down first. Just something to be aware of. :)
Downshiftology Thanks for the replies to you both. Yes! That was my first thought about the electric one. That's why I was initially intrigued by this video. Because you were spiralizing cabbage and onions :)
Chowi Simba Did someone say, electric??! Thank you so much for posting this link! I already have a regular spiralizer and I'm not overly happy with it. I don't care if I have to cut my produce down to fit in the shoot. This is more up my alley!
After watching another recipe of yours, I bought a small one today. which only helps with zucchini, cucumber and carrot type of long vegis. I will definitely get this version for the big vegis. I made my first carrot and zucchini stir fry with your recipe. It was amazing. Cooked so fast. Thanks heaps!!!
Ozland I think this one is available on Amazon for like $35 or something very similar to it there's also a really amazing veggie bullet that I've been interested in and just recently purchased so I hope it's all it's cracked up to be
💡This spiralizer tool is no different from the Farberware Spiraletti tool that I got at Home Goods on clearance for less than $10!! The regular price was less than $20 so it was still a good deal. 💞
Just purchased a spiralizer on Amazon (one of those lightening deals I couldn't ignore, lol). Found this video to get ideas prior to its arrival. Loved the video...very informational. I never would have had the imagination to try some of those things in the spiralizer. Can't wait until my new purchase arrives. Thanks for this great video! I only hope it's half as easy as you make it look. ;)
interesting comment. Here in UK I go for WONKY carrots as they are a lot bigger and although they are cheaper by weight, the size can mean they are more expensive. Had one that weighed 1Kg once
I have seen many videos and some say you can't do carrots or cabbage. YOU DID! I've been wanting a spiralizer for years, ever since zoodles became popular. I just bought one, similar to the model your using. Very informative video. Thanks for sharing! P.S. I subbed to your channel and am eager to see what else comes my way.
Hi Sue - you can indeed spiralize carrots and cabbage! With carrots the larger the better and cabbage is a piece of cake with the flat blade. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for subscribing! :) x
Just a tip to spiralizer fans, save the left over vegetable ends in a container in the freezer- the next time you need to make vegetable stock you will have a big chunk of the prep done.
Yes, it's great for stocks!
Oh wow! That's right, I forgot about that! :D Thanks for the reminder :)
Good idea! I absolutely hate wasting anything.
Jennifer Kepler - Thank you.
That's a great idea!

haha, me too! A work colleague linked to her food prep videos for a health challenge we are doing. Great tips and recipes. yum.
Came for the spiralizer...Stayed for the cutting board...
WOW...WHAT A BEAUTY
I NEED IT
BooS boards are pure Gold. Excellent quality.
Thanks for keeping us posted
Black radish is one of my favorite vegetables. It’s used a lot in Eastern European cuisine.
You know you’ve became an adult when you actually searched for this.
how do u know
Still a teen, but I can pretend
why😅
im 14 hehehe

Hello Liza, I just purchased my very first spiralizer. I bought a few veggies to try it out. The results just cady to the eyes and you want to dive instantly and eat them. Your videos are simple and easy to follow. Thank you for your all effort and time.
Happy to hear you're making the most out of your spiralizer Violet!
Wonderful! Have fun spiralizing all the veggies! :)
I am so glad there exist spiralizers like this. I have the little hand held one and grew tired of it, but this tabletop one has me very interested.
💯😅
I had no idea you could spiralize so much! What fun!
Yes! And these are my favorite veggies, but there's so much more as well. :)
Had no idea you could spiralize a sweet potato or yam! Wow! I’m purchasing one for myself and family who are healthy eating conscience! Thanks for the great demo!
Me neither! I was the most surprised by the onion. I would never think to try that one.
Its fun but quite an arm workout if you are doing a lot at a time
Ikr I don’t even eat some of these vegetables normally but I just wanna go buy them just to spiralize
Dot from UK

Where can you I purchase this brand of Spirolizor? Can you please tell me the cost?
You are mighty brave to wear a white shirt while dealing with beets!!! LOL! ;-)
I thought the same thing after filming! Especially as I can sometimes be a klutz. Lol! ;) x
Deadbeets are the worse...
You are lovely. Don't cry onions. A Good Oxygenated washing powder will clean Beet Stains.
Good info ! Thank you ! Who knew that you could spiralize all of these things ! I've been limiting myself.... but no more
Es chola, pues
Great tips! I’m already liking my spiralizer and enjoyed her other suggestions! Hint: chill onions in the refrigerator to prevent crying when cutting!
Great tip about the onions - I'll give that a try. Thanks Diane!

Downshiftology how long long will these vegetables? After you spiralize these vegetables?
I thought a cucumber was a fruit. It has seeds, so I've been thinking that since forever.
What is the brand name
Of the spiralizer you are using please?
Thank you for opening my eyes to more spiralizer options. Love love love the bell pepper, cabbage and apple ideas.

Well good on you lady~ This is the only way I can make my boyfriend eat a ton of veggies happily. :/
Haha. And you gotta do whatever works!
Definitely, I subscribed right away. Healthy cooking and she makes the instructions clear and simple.
I recently bought the same exact spiralizer that you are using because I didn’t care for the “Vegetti” and I can’t wait to use it!
This would definitely get kids more interested in trying new veggies. Thanks for the inspiration!
Fingers crossed it works for you! My niece and nephew love spiralized veggies. :) x
I'll report back!
pantsongrnd this is the best way, that’s how I was raised and all my siblings love veg
This is mind blowing...I've been on the hunt for a spiralizer because I'm trying to eat less carbs. Thank u for inspiring me.

Is it just me or are these veggies huge?? This is helpful. Thanks for posting!
Haha. They all seemed average sized on my end (and they were all organic - so no frankenveggies). Perhaps it's the angle of the video camera? ;) x
Teresa Durham vegetables are normally huge
food at the supermarket is usually under ripe and small

I've been wondering if should get a spiralizer.... and the answer it's now absolutely! How have my salads gone without cucumber ribbons for so long?!
Haha, good question! ;) You'll definitely love the spiralizer for salads (and many other things).
I saw beet-noodles at a Dierdergs (grocery-store) and was so excited. I bought them, and some coconut-thai-hummus and mixed the 2. Amazing.
OOPS, I should also add that if you have the money, Paderno now has a 4 blade model that is getting rave reviews.
Yes - good suction cups are key! I've never had a problem with mine (even after nearly 6 years) and you're right Sue, just stick your nail under to release (my Paderno actually has a little tab you can pull). But easy peasy!
Both models are fab!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. great summary. saved me time. also thanks for the tip about carrot staining , i will definitely wash immediately!
I would gladly watch a video where you make only spiralized meals!
Maybe a future "what I eat in a day" - with only spiralized veggies. ;) x
@@Downshiftology Did you do a video ?
Thank you I loved this. I just bought a spirlizer, so this was very helpful to me. Enjoyed your video. I have super sensitive eyes too. Putting the onions under water before any slicing or dicing helps alot.
Wonderful! Glad you enjoyed the video. And that's a great tip about the onions. :)
TIP: It is hard to eat those miles-long zucchini noodles! So what I do is stop every 4 or 5 turns & break off the noodles, for shorter noodles. This makes them much easier to mix & eat, and you don't have to chop anything.
I tend to take kitchen scissors and snip every few spins
Just cut it with scissor easy as 123
I am absolutely getting one of those! Thank you for posting this! Blessings and health to you and yours and to all who read this! 😘👍😇💖
Yay! Hope you enjoy it!
Ça met en appétit ! Merci pour la démonstration
You're welcome Sandrine! ❤️

Thanks - great video. Beautifully made and so clear. I didn't know you could spiralise so many vegetables. I love the tips you give as well.
Gorgeous, so so pretty - I love the vibrant colors of healthy foods:)
Yes! So true. Real food is quite spectacular. :)
Thank you so much for this Video! I spent so much time trying to find the right one to buy and also didn’t know what I was doing but this was totally helpful! Thank you thank you
Great tips on the amount of veggies & fruit you can actually use your spiralizer for. Thanks for tip about staining:-)
Glad you found it helpful! And yes, those gloves are key with beets. ;)
Just bought one today and now thanks to you I know of several things I can make. I was just gonna use it for curly fries but cant wait to make some veggie noodles
That's wonderful to hear! And yes, so much more than curly fries. :) x
Who else got one of these as a gift and is on UA-cam trying to figure out how to use it? Lol
Lots of creative recipes you can make with it!
yes.. looks very time consuming
Me! Haha, I'm super excited to use mine! 😄
Me!! So excited
If they need YT they'll never figure it out.
You are the best. This will make me eat so much less of an already low calorie food. Thank you!!!
Can you do a meal prep video using spiralized ingredients? :) I'd love to see the different ideas you have especially transitioning from Summer to Fall dishes!! Love your videos thank you! -Steph
Thanks Steph! And that's a great idea. Will have to ponder that one. :)
Salads are one of the dishes you can make. You can also use these Spiral Veggies to decorate the Main Course Dishes You Have Made For Lunch and Dinner

Yes please!
Thanks for that tip! Much appreciated :)
Wonderful ideas. I love spiraling veggies and now can use my air fryer with them!
Yes, definitely!
I need to start putting my spiralizer to use more often! I love the carrots, cabbage and veggies!
Yes - there's so much you can do with it! And the cabbage is perfect for coleslaw during the summer months. :)
So affordable when you see how much it can do. thanks for sharing Lisa
That's awesome! And yes, the consistency can be anything from firm to al dente to soft. Good for you! xx
Hi Billy, What is a Zoodle? is it a particular type of veggie or any veggie that has been made to look like a noodle? What veggie did you get your boyfriend to eat?
I'll bet he just pretended to let you trick him.....after that what happened? Oldest trick in the book....probably not his first time either....
kDawnf If he's there that much, he might enjoy joining in the cooking.
@@MDSkarin Zoodle=zucchini noodle
i am amazed, specially onion n sweet potato..wow
I would rather have this than my veggie bullet. It’s going to a garage sale!
This video was very helpful. I am planning to get a spiralizer. It helps me to see how it is done, not just read directions. So thanks.
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it Wendy. :) x
you can also do squash, egg plant, and potato
Yes, absolutely! So many delicious options. :)
Downshiftology isn't an eggplant to soft?
abc defg I tried eggplant and it was a disaster. But potato and squash do well
Hey,
I am new to your channel and found it because of this video.
Best Regards,
Me
Hi Nicholas - thanks so much for your kind words and I'm happy you found my channel! :)
We are actually doing the Whole30, so I am excited for a dairy-free alfredo sauce! Looking forward to it.
Awesome! I have lots of Whole30 recipes as well. Here's a few that are super popular: downshiftology.com/15-whole30-recipes-breakfast-lunch-dinner/
Thank you very much!
SIMPLE TECHNIQUE, WONDERFUL PRESENTATION , EASY WAy to make children eat vegetables without coxing them
Thanks so much! And yes, if you make it fun for kids (my niece and nephew love to spiralize) it's much easier to get them to eat vegetables. :)
I didn't know I could spiralize peppers. Thank you for this video.
Your demonstrations were great but would liked to have known which blades you were using.
Hi Donna - I just added it into the description box for you! You can also play around with multiple blades for each vegetable/fruit, so it just depends on your preference. :)
Thank you! I just started spiralizing and found your video helpful. I am looking forward to trying out different veggies and new recipes.
Wonderful! Happy spiralizing Cathy! :)
And I will have more spiralizer recipes in the near future!
I keep a pair of swimming goggles in my kitchen for cutting onions. My eyes had had enough.
Wow I never even thought of it, thanks for the great idea
Make sure your knife is sharp af, and your onion cold. Makes a world of difference.
I wear my contacts when cutting onions. No tears!
Me too but I have never used them for onions.
I'm new in "spiralizing". Thanks for the interesting and helpful information.
Shocked. I feel like doing an onion just for fun.
Haha. I say go for it! ;)
I can just see how much more enticing a salad will be with onions, peppers and cucs done this way.
wellsparker hey. Easy recipe with the ultra chef blender. ua-cam.com/video/ALOKcXb8cLA/v-deo.html
When cutting onions breathe in thru your mouth and out thru your nose and you will never cry
Thank you, got it as a gift from my mom this Christmas! Great tips!
Wonderful! Happy spiralizing Marcela 😊
Loved this. Thank you! 🙂💛
You're welcome Georgia! x
Very helpful to expand the use of people's spiralizer
Have you tried roasting spiralized beets? Just thought I'd ask before reinventing the wheel!
I haven't. I have a feeling they may too soft, but if you try it let me know how it turns out!
Nice......looks effortless!!!
It really is easy! Which makes preparing healthy meals all the better. :) x
Just bought this spiralizer. I can’t wait for it to arrive.
I had one like hers and the darn thing broke bit by bit. Then I invested in the attachment for my kitchenaid stand mixer. It's a beast.
Yay! Glad you enjoyed that recipe! And yes, the bigger spiralizer definitely comes in handy for the bigger veggies. :) x
Awesome!

Lisa, I am on gluten free diet and vegetarian , I loved your diet ideas. 👍🏻
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them. :)
Oh my gosh I never thought of apples or potatoes could you do jicama???? Would definitely put a twist on veg soup
Yes, you can absolutely do jicama! And rutabaga, celery root, etc. So many options! :) x
Lol now I gotta have one!!!!
Haha. Why yes, you do! ;) x
I only hope it's half as easy as you make it look. ;)
Wonderful! Glad you enjoyed the video Kathy!
"because your carrots arent overly huge?" Damn. All of your veggies are 3 times the size of what i can get in my country 😝
Everything is bigger in America, it's bizarre!
@@TheEnglishCommute LOL I am here in USA and have NEVER seen such huge veggies!!!
The bigger, the more perfect = less taste and full of chemical.
interesting comment.
Now we being eating good noodles everyday.
Ty so much for sharing but I'm probably only gonna spiral squash, zuccini, and rutabaga. 🙂👍u did an amazing job.
Can please show us some salad ideas with these veggies....
I have more recipe ideas on my website. :)
