Apparently Jaguar admitted to the media that they expect to "loose 85% of their customer base" and then build a new one from a younger generation. People have it wrong about Jaguar. The new powers (Since 2008) from the design centre upwards have been given the job of killing Jaguar. The last XJ, HIDEOUS, the growler logo (as the one in the video) looks like a Lion King caricature (utterly horrid compared to all previous growlers except the one on the XK120 which was also horrid and Sir William changed it) and now this insulting, offensive, deeply disturbing "advert" is absolutely degrading to the fine brand Sir William Lyons built from nothing having starteed out building Swallow Sidecars ini Blackpool. Although I never met Sir William Lyons in person, I love the Jaguar's he designed and some of the later models too. I have owned about ten Jaguar's and still own an S2 XJ6 and an XJV8 today. I am confident Sir William Lyons will be looking down angrily and scornfully upon the humiliation of his brand. RiP Jaguar!

TATA closed some plants after heavy loss for years, they were losing million pounds per day and UK's new laws of electrification which forces companies to use electricity instead of coals in steel plants and make big investment to make this change has finally forced many companies to give up. They've also poured billions into jaguar and land rover so obviously they would want it to be successful, they wouldn't want to intentionally close it down if it makes money, land rover has finally started to generate profit and they're going in good direction, something is very wrong with jaguar though.

As the owner of my personal best car I’ve owned, the F Type, it breaks my heart to see Jaguar commit suicide like this. Going all electric was a gamble, but this is pure insanity. I've driven Jaguars for many years but won't be buying one again . Not just the advert but because they're going all electric which doesn't suit me as I have no way to charge at home. I can't see the new electric models selling well as high price EV's loose horendous amounts of money. Look at the residuals on Porsche Taycans. The whole EV market is dependant on company cars due to the tax breaks but that won't last forever.
Jaguar know their target customers. Boots know their target customers. They are huge companies that haven't just become wildly incompetent overnight. This is all designed. Have been solely looking for a good 2019 onwards, E or F Pace 'Chequered Flag" model for the past few months and excited about the possible new purchase. Thank God I took so much time doing my research as I have saved the worst case of Buyers Remorse ever. Have completely purged all search history of Jaguar from my computer and system AND notified my nearest dealership, (who have my details and sourcing possible options), to remove my details from it's customer database. WHY?? I've seen really creative ads and many dumb ones. But the Jaguar ad without a single Jaguar automobile in sight has got to be the stupidest ad I've ever seen. If you have to "explain" the commercial, you have failed in your messaging. Jaguar is a car; the brand is designed to promote the automobile & its manufacturer. Brand recognition is achieved when buyers recognize the brand as the symbol for all positive attributes of the product & company. A bunch of fashion models walking around in a Martian landscape, one of which looks like he's wearing a spare tire as a belt, has got NOTHING to do with the quality of the product or the integrity of the company. I've driven Jaguars for many years but won't be buying one again . Not just the advert but because they're going all electric which doesn't suit me as I have no way to charge at home. I can't see the new electric models selling well as high price EV's loose horendous amounts of money. Look at the residuals on Porsche Taycans. The whole EV market is dependant on company cars due to the tax breaks but that won't last forever.
They should replace the leaping Jaguar with a leaping rabbit 🐰
Jaguar know their target customers. Boots know their target customers. They are huge companies that haven't just become wildly incompetent overnight. This is all designed. They know that these woke ads don't appeal to their target customers, but that's not the point because it's not about making money, it's about social engineering by the massive, globally influential investment banks that own these types of companies.
Unfathomable decision. The Superbowl advert several years ago was one of the greatest ads ever made. Guess "It's good to be bad" doesn't fit the woke agenda.

Have been solely looking for a good 2019 onwards, E or F Pace 'Chequered Flag" model for the past few months and excited about the possible new purchase. Thank God I took so much time doing my research as I have saved the worst case of Buyers Remorse ever. Have completely purged all search history of Jaguar from my computer and system AND notified my nearest dealership, (who have my details and sourcing possible options), to remove my details from it's customer database. WHY?? Whilst I would still have loved one, this rebrand has completely destroyed all good will and any money of mine going to these corrupt minded buffoons at Jaguar and their "alphabet" minority community promotion. P.S. Question for Jaguar, how many of those you seek to embrace will keep you afloat with their cash??? Answers on a postcard and send to the shredder, where your rebrand needs to go.
I've seen really creative ads and many dumb ones. But the Jaguar ad without a single Jaguar automobile in sight has got to be the stupidest ad I've ever seen. If you have to "explain" the commercial, you have failed in your messaging. Jaguar is a car; the brand is designed to promote the automobile & its manufacturer. Brand recognition is achieved when buyers recognize the brand as the symbol for all positive attributes of the product & company.
A bunch of fashion models walking around in a Martian landscape, one of which looks like he's wearing a spare tire as a belt, has got NOTHING to do with the quality of the product or the integrity of the company.
