Dusty, you are so amazing. I have been watching you for a long time now and I love your reactions. The more verbal the better! You have me cracking up. You have great insight and spot on advise. I really enjoy Candy’s I put too. Do you always call her Candy Storm or just on the show. I have never heard you refer to her as just Candy. Not a real problem just being snarky 😃. You’re the best! Truly unique, none of the other shows doing this compare to you.

story 4, it sounds like op's sister realized how much control her mother had over her life and therapy is helping her set boundaries. The "no pictures unless jack approves" implies grandma is the type to splash the baby's face all over without parents (both of em) permission. And I feel MIL had all the holidays planned out that's why she was pissed that his side of the family gets priority for a while. How much input did she have into the baby names on the "approved" list for him to choose from?

Have no clue why I called Candy, Candy Storm…🤪. I of course meant that you always mention her as Candy Thunder, never just Candy. Who really cares, right, lol

No, Being a selfish piece earns you a hit with reality and keeping another grandparent away from a grandchild because your mom left town?!?! That’s trash! It’s first come first serve and all grandparents are equally important. That baby never got that bond with one of their grandparents before loosing them, even one time would have been such a special connection for them both, you robbed your child of that soul connection… I can’t believe she went with her mom on that. She literally controlled her daughter and then called him controlling even though this is what he needs to do to trust his wife again. It’s not advantage, it’s a lifeline.

Story 1. Men should not be shamed for wanting a paternity test no matter the situation. But I do agree if he wants it he should schedule it and pay for it.

It depends how they approach the situation. The majority of men who come into it accusing their wife of being unfaithful and then expecting her not to be upset is ridiculous. If you don't trust your partner, then you shouldn't be with them, and that goes both ways. Asking for a paternity test, no matter how valid, is an immediate sign to your partner that you neither trust nor believe them and that does come with consequences that you need to be prepared for.
Imo though, there's a non-zero chance of babies being swapped by accident, so a dna test to make sure you brought home the right kid might be a good idea.

@@arrowbliss2515 I don't agree. I think it's ridiculous for a women to be mad for a man asking for a paternity test. Only one person knows who both parents are. And that's the woman. A men can only go by what she say until a test is done. Women do lie about paternity. I can agree that every situation is different. But more and more men are finding out that they're not the father of kids that they thought was there's from what they thought was a happy marriage.

@paulanderson2225 I'm not saying you can't ask or that paternity tests are completely unnecessary, but people do have feelings. This is a situation where, if not approached with delicacy, there will be consequences. It would be the same if a woman falsely accused her husband of cheating. It has consequences, and not all of them are good.
I think there are ways in which it can be requested without causing too much upset, such as checking to make sure you brought home the right baby, or just phrasing it in such a way as to stress that you don't think your spouse has cheated on you. But again, if you're doing this because you do not trust that your spouse has been fully faithful, you have other issues that need to be addressed. Trust and communication are the bedrock of a solid relationship, so if you don't fully trust your spouse, then you don't have a solid relationship.
