    That's what I liked about Kaylar inspite of her temper she was a likable character and easy to be around unless she's ticked off and I really hated it when she was killed by Duras in the TNG season 4 episode Reunion and I'm glad Worf killef Duras in revenge by stabbing his batleth into Duras' throat killing him like the dishonorable coward he is and the traitor he was.

      Likeable? Certainly not in her first appearance, where she seemed to deliberately seek conflict. Later on, she was much better.

      @@Argumemnon you don’t have to be nice and calm to be likable. her insecurity is relatable and her inner struggle is too. the idea of hating a part of yourself that you’re not responsible for, getting so angry at any reminder in the world of who you are inside, is incredibly relatable and i think it makes her likable if not a bit pitiable.

      nah you just dump it all in the cabnet under the replicator to be recycled .. I would assume their are unseen roombas for the hallways that come out during the night shift

      Yeah. They have janitors and such things (boothby is a groundskeeper at the academy and janitorial things are part of a groundskeepers task), but for such things, I'm sure they have mechanical equipment as Monkey Hunter suggested.

      @@christinacody5845Well, only partially true. We see Boothby all the time on his knees, caring for the plants, which is a quite delicate work. But in TWOK, at the beginning afte Saavik "passfailed" her Kobayashi Maru and Kirk and Spock wander down the hallways of the academy, we see a janitor sweeping the floors.

      Bulk cleanse the room with dematerialisation effects then replicate some replacement furnishings.
      Net power loss but if you can beat the speed of light other power constraints when cruising at sub light are laughably irrelevant.
      Yet all the fun features of such tech are one off artefacts or the creation of ancient races.
      No orbital elevators, no dyson swarms, near zero hive cities/arcopalypses, no halo ribbons, and their colonies/fleets are functionally minuscule considering the resources and territories available.

      Because the table immediately collapsed into thick shards. Cuts mainly happen when you punch through glass where parts of it remain intact, held by a frame, and you scratch past them. Or just from direct impact force. But with proper training that risk is reduced.

    Kinda surprised about the table. Given all the shaking and jerking if the ship when attacked, subjected to dangerous forces, etc. (as evidenced by the scenes on the bridge when such happens), I'd expect such styles of furniture to be banned on the ship.

      Usually, they have inertial dampeners on most of the time I’m pretty sure, makes the boat rock less. It’s possible that they turn the dampeners off, at least on the bridge, in order to have a little more combat awareness (you’d feel it if you got hit hard, which helps you realize from which direction and how powerful the fire was)

      She said 'hold.' Those were obviously just the first ten.
      The real issue here is that Worf's program started flashing with 'Simulation in Progress' appearing before she said anything else. Did the computer know that a half-Klingon would choose that program? That's kind of scary....

      @@Kartissa W have software now that notes what websites we visit, what purchases we make. The Enterprise's computer would likely use scanners to know who was there at the holodeck controls and give them a list of appropriate programs, I'd think...

      But you're right, we have no way of knowing her holodeck preferences because this is the first (only?) time she's been seen to use one.
