@@MrNobody_1618 truthfully I have a xxx and the range is very similar. Hyper is pretty draining though. Sport gives plenty of power with good range as well. On single track I am getting around 20 miles to around 30% in sport. But that is roughly 2 hour of good hard riding. I don’t think any other bike in this range is much better. Only ones that are better right now is the artic and ultra bee with an upgraded battery. But then you’re talking about almost 2x the price plus more weight. Which I really prefer the light weight for the riding I do. The handling and suspension on this bike is where it shines though for sure
Its awesome to see the evolution of these bikes! I think they added a ton of needed and wanted features! I would like to see a way to set 0 regen and only use the thumbwheel. There are many times when coasting could be more effective. Also would like to see reverse/fakie if not already a option. I have a feeling there could be some NBD things we could accomplish with reverse/fakie switch.
Regen mode 1 on my MX4 is Regen Off. It coasts with absolutely no regen, i dont know how the MX5 is but i doubt they changed that since they kept the same 4-level Regen lever switch and everything. That would be for a baseline Regen, so if you did want some engine braking that doesnt require the lever, just everytime the throttle is released then you would raise it up from Regen 1. For me, going from the Regen 1/no Regen, to even Regen Level 2 and you feel it right away! I personally dont like the Regen either and always use Regen 1, but i would like to get the thumb regen lever for my MX4. I tried it on a friends bike and didnt think i would like it or use it that much, but i was using it a lot actually..
The start button doesnt do anything after its pressed the first time after turning the key on, to take it out of Wait mode. So unless it actually was getting in the way of the Regen lever, i wouldnt worry about it. Thats where we install them on the bikes with aftermarket controller already and its never been a problem. Plus you want it on the throttle side, it just feels more natural and gives you full control over the rear brake lever.
it looks great guys, I'm waiting for brake adapters for suron to be on sale in the near future so that they can be put from this motorcycle to your motorcycle)!
If you route the front brake line on the inner side of the fork leg it will rub on the lower fork stanchion and cause damage! Route it on the outer side.
One of the front axle spacers had a notch to signify it should be placed on the rotor side of the wheel. Not sure how much it affects the ride but that's what was explained in the official Talaria build video.
alta sigma nice bike and if I see one on the road being road queens I will let them have it. The alta bike probably will be the bike that ruins it for everyone. THe kids caan buy them cause the price and they will ride them in gangs on the road and then naationwide laws banning emoto bikes.
@@jemorebbit's not it is what it is. Riding dirt bikes on the road doing wheelies, in groups doesn't have to be. Ride wheelies in the dirt, that's cool. I was just pulled over last week because we now have a bunch of kids who bought these bikes and they ride all day on the street, doing stupid shit. We got dirt tracks and trails in town but they choose to be shelf queens on the road. It's nothing more than posing and now I can't ride 6 or 7 blocks to get to the dirt without being stopped by cops. It's bullshit.
The mx5 is pretty amazing. It handles anything I threw at it this weekend. Thoroughly impressed with the bike for sure. Absolutely love it so far
What about the range ??

How fast do these go in hyper out of the box without cutting the wire I see that mine is only doing like 28 miles an hour maybe
@@AlexUnleashed222 yep only 28. I cut the wire immediately though. Typically 60 mph. I think it has a cut off. Plenty fast enough though
Great video. Gonna use this to put mine together when I get it next week

Mine is on the way! I'm excited!
Best assembly video out of them all. You may want to turn the Regen switch around so you are not coming close to the start switch.

What are your fork settings for an MX track?

Does the rear shock have preload adjustment?
Are these tires punching resistant or do you need to slime the tires

Does it come with a graphic kit????🤔
It does, we just just did not put it on
Does it come with a charger ?
HELP! Any idea why mine came without the regen throttle?

Wow...boring clip....not a word about the new features in specific...😒
This is just a video to show new owners how to assemble their bikes. We will be going into depth about the bike in its real world review
