Luna Cycle makes the best tutorials. Everything is super clear, not even the smallest assembly step is missed. Thank you for your work. I used your tutorials to assemble my MX4 and Triple X, and gained knowledge to assemble other similar bikes.
@Lunacycle, thanks guys for making this video!!! Just got my MX5 Pro built using this video and it’s way more fun to do it this way than sifting through the manual. 🤣. Coming from years of MTB riding / wrenching, these are definitely straight forward in the build process but it’s nice to have the tidbits on tap when needed.
Thanks! I followed the same video that I used for my MX4 and only screwed up the headset spacer and put the front wheel spacers on the wrong side. Thanks to this video I was able to correct my errors. I also have my front brake line zip-tied to the front left mudguard because installing it like in the video gives me too much brake hose flopping around by the headlight. As a sidenote, I got some extra time in the garage due to having a Scud battery that I'm waiting on the replacement for. It should be here in a few days then I can finally test out the MX5!
Thank you! This is great. I get mine tomorrow and was nervous it would be difficult to put together. Can you make a video on how to properly maintain the MX5?
Do you guys have OEM parts for these like extra wheel spacers? Also, is it normal for a little rubbing sound for the front wheel on the desk? It’s not terrible, but it will probably just wear off.
Can you confirm whether the mx5 drain plug is reverse threaded or not? I've heard reports that the new gear boxes are reverse threaded, causing people to strip it (thinking it's standard threaded) If true why tf would they do such a thing? Seems arbitrary, and more expensive (and more likely to completely destroy the most vital component).
Hopefully the right and left front wheel spaces aren’t that much different. I don’t think I paid attention when I put mine together. Might have to take it apart and check. Lol

you see the comparison video talaria boys did.. youll know what you want after watching it...the mx5 has 20 more lbs to it but the parts are 10x better. the mx5 has faster acceleration and lower charging time. mx5 is the winner in my opinion

For my MX-3 I'll be ordering an MX-5 controller asap

Thanks. Just assembled mine.
You have the brake line routed wrong on the outside of the front fork. Needs to be on the inside.
Dang you're tall! Nice shirt btw

Will the new batch still come with a fire extinguisher🙂🙃?
@tbgtbg6311
The MX-5 is so hot, it blows past eRide-Pros igniting them in flames

Hey I ordered a kickstand side peg bracket and it did not come with the metal back part for the kickstand
No grease on the axle?

What is the max weight capacity?? Is it good for heavier riders because the e-ride pro ss has max rider weight of 300lbs
Any idea why mine came without a regen throttle?
yall will be selling the mx5 brakes just like the other bikes right i need me some of them think boysssss nowww
Nice!

The right side connectors should be reversed so the overlapping rubber seals face down. IMO.
Idk if I’m stupid or what but my front axel will NOT move

5 months and still waiting for my mx4 ...by the time i get mine the mx6 might be out 😒😕😞
Is there a way to unrestirct the mx5 other then cutting the wire????
No
The wire cut is super easy though no reason to not do it that way
You could even put a switch in to turn the restrictions on or off if you wanted
