This track was built specifically for emoto, so it made sense as a first test. The speed was more than enough for the Vet track, we just didn’t have a way to fit it into this video. Bigger tracks, trails, range tests, etc all coming next
@ChargedCycleWorks The majority of people buying these bike are never going to see an MX track in their lives. Would like to see real world uses like bike trails and streets.
We joked about this because it's not our number, but directly from Altis and their own website. "Model highlights: Standard: 533n.m torque (39T Sprocket) MX: 601n.m torque (44T Sprocket)" It didn't make it into the video, but this number is torque at the wheel calculated by gear ratio. It's not a traditional rating, so we are still trying to clarify with Altis. For reference, the EBMX and Torp motors are rated between 52nm and 108nm. Altis' hairpin motor is likely on the high end of this scale, or perhaps a bit more in theory, because they were designed to have more torque and efficiency. Not a definitive answer, but hope this helps explain a bit.

Those bikes would shit all over this thing on a real Mx track
@@jcmoney4125 The reason I ask is because all these demos seem to praise the suspension and the torque and the speed, but never really mention the comparison between 2 and 4 stroke race bikes...
@@MissedFGC Speed is only one aspect of the equation.
"I haven't rode a small bike" me over here on a razor like that's not a small bike My bike is a small bike
Can it accommodate 21-18" wheels?
Yes, and it’s one of the first things we will modify to see if it feels even better.

They should’ve given this bike a frame like the dust moto
It might just be me hearing wrong but sounds like the chain is rattling loud af more than other e-moto bikes??
There is definitely some distinct chain rattle but it’s purely because this bike has a chain guide. The motor and the noise that the bike makes is much quieter than all the other bikes. With how often I toss chains, I’ll take some chain guide noise to prevent that from happening
@ thanks for answering
where is this cool mini moto track ?
Fox Raceway - Pala Indian Reservation in San Diego County
What are you guys going to have for upgrades on this bike right away?
Not many upgrades will be needed but we’re already working on footpegs, street wheels, and direct mount stem/risers.
@ChargedCycleWorks perfect well I'll be ordering from you then. I'm assuming that this suspension on this bike is okay but not what I want would be nice to see some options for front rear suspension upgrades...
@@ChargedCycleWorks Get a turn signal kit. I want to buy it.
Why test it on a tiny little mx track?
This track was built specifically for emoto, so it made sense as a first test. The speed was more than enough for the Vet track, we just didn’t have a way to fit it into this video.
Bigger tracks, trails, range tests, etc all coming next
@ChargedCycleWorks The majority of people buying these bike are never going to see an MX track in their lives. Would like to see real world uses like bike trails and streets.
601 NM is like 440 ft/pound. I think your number might be wrong lol
We joked about this because it's not our number, but directly from Altis and their own website. "Model highlights: Standard: 533n.m torque (39T Sprocket) MX: 601n.m torque (44T Sprocket)"
It didn't make it into the video, but this number is torque at the wheel calculated by gear ratio.
Not a definitive answer, but hope this helps explain a bit.
is a 33 in seat height low enough for a 5'6 rider ?
That seat height won’t be a problem for that height
Let's gooo. Will I replace my order?
What did you buy?
@edgurash834 I put a deposit on an altis. After seeing the weight, amongst a few other details, I canceled my order. Really shopping for my son that currently races mx on an 85
@adrenaholic1 Aww, man! I get it, if off-road is your goal. Mine is going to be used as street riding, so I juiced for it.
@edgurash834 Two complete different sides of the e bike world. If my son and I were to hit the streets we would be in jail by sunset. So we have to escape the life of Karen's by going to the mx tracks or utv parks for freedom. ✌️
@@adrenaholic1i get it. Happy shredding, my man!
Will the EXT FERRO fit?
The front hub and axle standards are different, so not yet. This fork is wider than everything else in the market so far. All that said, although the EXT is the best for the existing bikes in the market, I doubt many people will feel the need to upgrade the Altis' front suspension. It has a quality feel to it and worked very well in our short time on the bike.
Why did they skip over the range? This makes me so worried
Don’t be. We also did a 12-13 mile night ride after forgetting to charge it. The range is equal or more to all the other bikes we’ve ridden lately (2.0, 3.0, MX5, etc). This video was an introduction and initial impressions. Next videos will be potential mods, trail rides, and range tests.
nice
anyone tell me what helmet the guys are wearing in this video? appreciate it.
That is the Leatt 5.5 helmet
sigma😮💨🗿
What track are they at?
Fox Raceway at Pala, CA
great , but I need range
@@Ebbrush3 when we have a better place to ride, this will be in our next video!
No scale? No sale!
LOL, you expect someone to fly from Utah to California for a first ride review with a scale? As said in the video, future video.
@BrianLampright913 haha. No expectations. These guys provide us with great resources. Just saying I'm not sold until the weight is proven to be >186lbs
@@adrenaholic1
ALL DIS SMEGMA??
lol
What is the HP? That's the question?.
ChatGPT says 22kw = 29.502 HP
I came to see the weight 😅
Where is this track?
Fox Raceway in Pala, CA
Put that on a real track, not a mini track. I’d ride it really aggressively and see how it matches up with a normal gas 250f. I’m worried about the suspension because it looks Super soft to me. Can we see some high speed aggressive riding? Let it bottom out and flex the frame so we can see it’s limits. 🤙
Definitely the future plan for this bike! We will be getting more time on one very soon
Already have Gold 3’ warp 9 riser bars. Should look sick and match perfectly with the gold forks
@@chazcarpenter1559 they won’t work yet unfortunately. Bar mounts on this bike is 7/8” moto standard
@ ah shoot oh well. Thanks for the heads up!
rear shock seems questionable
It wasn’t bad, but luckily the other ones fit. We’ll probably install our EXT Arma w 550 or 600lb spring.
Frt caliper is way too low
Range ?
When we have more time with the bike, this will be in our next video.
why didn't you take it on the road. Thats the main purpose of the 19x19 tires. And the max speed?
Electric dirt bikes are what will make "in city" dirt parks viable...
OUI C4EST UN VELO MDRR
Same factory as others? I’d guess fastaces
Fastace is solid. If thats what they are then i have no complaints
