Also had my boss tell me things like “Katy, you know what they say about the cow and the milk… why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free”. @@rolandobaluja7504 we can certainly agree that after a certain point, it's not worth staying at a toxic job. Our main reason for encouraging standing up to these types is so the problem doesn't grow too large, but there are some workplace situations that can't be overcome for sure.

To be honest I have had multiple jobs where coworkers have seen me as a threat and started causing issues for me. The moment this happens, I know I'm going to lose my job. The only thing is that if I don't do anything about it, I know I will just lose my job slower. It's making my CV look bad. But I know dealing with it will just make the whole situation worse. Documenting things has been pointless unless someone is backing you up, as they just say that you're lying. And going to HR is suicide.

Small hidden surveillance cameras and recording devices as well as explicitly documenting everything regardless of whether it minor, medicore, or major will benefit you as well as a good attorney if needed! Plenty of people and companies have had too settle and have been sued for coworkers harassing, slandering, provoking, and or terrorizing others. With that being said don't sweat the small stuff and take constructive criticism as it's beneficial for you! Trust me you will know if their trying too set you up for failure and you'll know if their just backstabbing narcissistic bullying and or slandering you! Take a stand against them and don't let them utilize or use you! I have lost all trust and faith in coworkers and most people in general and will never open up too any personal information about myself ever again at all whatsoever as they will either misunderstood, bend, twist, and or change what I said regardless of whether or not they truly understood what I said or meant! Their just your coworkers not 🚫 your genuine friends!!!!

If I can give you my 2 cents, and advise you to do what I didn’t know in my 20s, it’s three words - stand your ground. If you like your job and want to stay in it, first recognise that it is you who is good enough, and they are targeting you because they are not, or feel that they are not. Stand your ground. You’ll find you are well thought of by others and this person knows that. They can’t attain the social and political power you build so effortlessly without manipulating and coercing. Know that if you are being targeted it is because you are doing something right.
Hold your head up high and remember your worth. You’ll find more people are on your side than you imagine! It’s easy to think everyone thinks the same as the bully in these situations but honestly they don’t! Documentation by the way is seen in as contemporaneous evidence - it’s 👍 Much love . Be well ❤

I have a coworker I'm dealing with and I see many red flags about her. When I was new going on four months now I was all excited and relaxed with her thinking I was going to make a friend turned out she has been saying some things behind my back of all I have said. Giving it a little twist to making me look like a bad person. I even believe she is taking it to the boss of anything I say or do is being used against me. I feel like I'll be losing my job soon. If I don't say much or talk to her or anything everyone else will know that I'm being rude. She sets me up. So,. I been trying to not say much at all only good morning and start working. But she becomes like static cling to me....I can't shake her off. It's every job I run into this kind of manipulative situations. Easily well hated person that I am. 😔

A co worker constantly going to HR to complain that you are not doing enough work. E.g You are on a late shift and they are on earlies. They complain you left stuff for them to do in the morning. However, when you are on shift together you end up doing most of the work. I.e with kitchen porters some seem to think that all they have to do is just wash up and then go home and yet they don't clean the kitchen as well and expect others to do it for them. So when not all of the washing up gets done the night before they complain to HR that you are under performing.

    1) they lie
    2) confided and shared your story to others
    3) they love drama and gossip
    4) manipulation
Don’t share anything! Your coworkers are not your friends! If they gossip about others, they will gossip about you.
Take it from a 51 year old woman that survived pharmaceutical sales for 25 years. Don’t share, don’t gossip, stay to yourself, be positive and just do your job and go home

Should I report my coworker? See, our boss was in his face and practically called him slow and fooIish. Well, he got back at her. A month prior, our boss once told us she was literally sick of raspberries, because she once threw up after eating expired raspberry pie. Well, yesterday, there was some raspberry tarts in the break room, and my coworker told her they were cherry. But then she tasted raspberry and threw up. He "innocently" claimed he thought they were cherry, and she bought it. Well, later, I saw him laughing to himself and giving himself a self-five. I think he tricked her so she would feel naus eated and embarrass herself at work. She was disrespectfuI and beIittIing to him, yes, but to do this to her? Should I tell her?
