You should check out that corsair platform 6 desk the creator edition. You probably have to do it in a different room though but might as well make you aware of it
I completely understand that, I would change the storage unit if I needed the extra space. And I only really need this much storage because I get sent so much stuff to review 😅
nice setup!! Do you recommend the skypad to avoid forearm fatigue due to less friction or will it be worse because it is harder than a cloth one? what are the benefits of screen light? Thanks you are a great
Hey Jorge, if you wear a sleeve with a SkyPAD it is buttery smooth, if you dont wear a sleeve though it'll stick to your skin (in my experience). You could try wearing a sleeve with a cloth pad if you're struggling. It'll reduce the friction between the pad and your arm. Screen light is useful if you play in dark spaces, it makes the light of the screen less harsh (because everuthing else is lit up too) and the benefit of being able to see your desk at noght without all the lights on is great to me. I feel my eyes are less tired now that i use a screen light.
get into audio! its great, i went from iron to radiant because i got better audio setup/s but fr you can upgrade your audio for pretty cheap, tons of great iems, and dongle dac/amps you could get that imo are better than normal headsets. But you would need a stand alone mic, which i know you dont have much space for that haha. i wanna help you manage your desk though xD i've been wanting to make a desk tour, you have given me some motivation to do so haha.
Great setup! As someone using a laptop, an external screen, a dock, with a relatively small desk (100cm x 50cm). Can confirm that cables gets everywhere. My laptop does output qhd 170Hz no problem directly from the hdmi/mini dp, it also does qhd 170Hz with the dock I got.
@@Log_Pile there’s a lot of similar things out there. Thunderbolt docks are plentiful rn. Just in case make sure the usbc on the laptop also have Thunderbolt to work with those. I’ve also had decent success with an anker 11 in 1 hub, but it can have problem if I put my monitor, mouse, keyboard, and headphones all on it.
I almost bought a new house before xmas because it had a garage I could convert into an actual studio 🤣 my man cave will happen one day! thanks for the comment bro
I have a laptop without a display port and I am running a 240hrtz monitor just fine, all you really need is a USB C to Display Port cable ( I use one from Ugreen and it was like 20 USD) and it should allow you to go beyond 120 hrtz.
@@Log_Pile Really that is weird I googled the specs that you left in your description and it came up with a result saying it does have "1 x USB 3.2 PORT (Type C) + 3 x USB 3.2 PORTS" with the USB C being located on the back of the laptop near the HDMI port. Maybe google gave me some other model with the same specs from PC specialist.
@neogem200 I'll check again Neo, I appreciate your support with this BTW! There is a port next to the HDMI in the back that I thought was USB C, but I couldn't get the cable in and itlookeda diff shape when I looked closer, but maybe I just need to give it a good clean
@neogem200 Turns out I just needed to clean the port 🫣 kind of funny that I've been bottle necking myself here 😬 stuff will be delivered tomorrow!! roll on 165hz! thanks man
@@Log_Pile Glad that you found it my laptop only has 1 HDMI port too and when I wanted to get dual monitors I used an adaptor and noticed I finally was above 120.
@@Log_Pile Hey no problem.🙂Much appreciated! It's hard to find small standing desks that extend outwards towards me. I've been looking for one for a PC CRT setup which give me enough gaming mousepad space.
The famous 🪵 corner! Nice setup and for me, it’s all part of the journey and not the destination. Looking forward to seeing what you got coming next with this 🫡⚡️
This is the realest setup ever. RESPEKT.
I feel at most home with a slightly scuffed setup like this. The trains is what ties it all together. Gotta have infrastructure
It took me this long to understand what you meant by the trains 🤣🤣 you're hilarious. Trains are indeed essential to my setup
Banger set up
Thanks Lemon 🍋

Nice and small setup, but personally i couldnt live without legroom

I honestly think this is a great setup. super efficient use of space which I should be doing. Low key love the laptop stand and layout
the laptop stand was such a game changer 😅 thank you Goose 🫡

Hey Ethan, what dock do you use? would be awesome if I could get more frames before I upgrade 😅 our setups are very similar by the sound of it 😁
@@Log_Pile I’m using the Dell thunderbolt dock wd22tb4, laptop is Alienware x16, and monitor is gigabyte m27q.

Haha cool, I used to have very limited space in my old apartment. Kinda scuffed yea but I think there is room for improvement
