- When we saw that we had nearly every major variation of the Sig Sauer P320 series in the Certified Used Vault, we knew we had to take on the monumental task of a complete review of the series. It’s a big task for sure, because Sig does a great job of listening to their customers and then tailoring solutions through the P320 lineup to their needs. And wouldn’t you know it, from the time we recorded the video to the time it went to post Sig went ahead and released yet another variant, the P320 Spectre Comp.
Whether we have every single P320 or not there are still a lot of pistols to get through here, but before we do, we need to talk about what makes this gun so special. - Навчання та стиль
SIG was very smart in not just the modularity, but supporting other companies to manufacture their own P320s and components

Sig seriously needs to stop trying to make their pistols only house their optics though. If they made it work with the trijicon line up they would have way more customers

It's amazing how since the army adopted the 320, the gun world is in love with it. I remember when it first came out it wasn't so beloved... But glad I have mine!
Ummm the way I remember the timeline is that initial impressions were positive until the drop safety issue came out and then you had a lot of alarmist sentiment. Channels were publishing themselves smacking the gun around and failing to reproduce the condition, but until the revamp came through people were still on alert. Eventually Sig released a new version and then it started to gain traction again. I shot one when I was looking at pistols to purchase 5 years ago and honestly it was right up there with the CZ P10C in terms of how well it shot.
Now that I have the P365 with the Wilson Cambat grip module it just makes me want a P320 with the same module.
Amen! I SSE'd mine in 2014 and I was irritated that development was slow, but now I am thrilled with all my mods.
It's amazing how Sig has come to the fore front of the firearm world... With the P320 line of pistols it was no doubt the government picked it as the Army's new side arm with the M17 and now the Marine Corp is going with the M18... I'm a Walther guy but bought the M18 P320 and just ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GUN!!!
I love my m18. My history is in 1911s, so that manual safety made the switch to striker fire that much easier. The safety is part of my draw, always has been.
I love my P320, but it is the manual safety version and the only way I'll carry it.
@@newdefsys I don’t trust the hype that folks are raising about how the p320s are just going off all by themselves , load of bologna, but it’s strange that it’s not the manual safety variants people are trash talking. Sounds to me like these are the guys used to a Glock safe action trigger and are sleeping on trigger discipline.
@@JimmyTorque Im watching that story about the discharges, I guess we'll see what the courts have to say. SIG knocked it out of the park, though, with the thumb safety on the P320. Its nearly identical to the 1911 and it feels right at home in my hand.

Sigs are some of the best firearms, I have a couple Sigs and I highly suggest you check out that Springfield XDM 10mm Elite, AMAZING PISTOL with these shorter barrels the 10mm gets that lead the speeds they should be ; )

I love my P320 X5 Legion..right out of the box, it is my go to. When I retire I want to go to Sig Academy and take a course or 2. Hope they take old people like me..lol

Love my AXG Scorpion and my P365 XL Spectre
It sucks you guys didn't cover the X5 Legion, Spectre Comp, and DH3! I EDC a Spectre Comp with a Surefire X300 and Romeo 1 Pro..fantastic gun and fantastic carry, I already have over 3000 rounds through it and it's been more accurate and more reliable than my previous carry (P80)..definitely glad I popped my Sig cherry on a Spectre Comp!

Have always been a Glock shooter. Still am, but recently bought my first SIG. Went all in and bought the XFive Legion. Haven’t got out on the range with it yet, but I’m excited to give it a go!

I was so on the fence about the P320 and Glock 19 MOS, so I just got the Zev Technologies OZ-9C. I still have the P320 and Glock though lol...
Pretty sure that the 320 X5, non legion, non Xcarry or Xcompact came before the 365XL. So it’s actually the XL taking from the 320X5, not the other way around.
Heck, the X series was around way before when it was just the German 226s prior to the 226 Legions and Elites.

I have 3 of the P320 models, P320 Legion, M17, and a Wilson Combat p320. I like them all. However, Wilson Combat model fits my hand best.
Where’s the p320 x compact? These UA-camrs never show that one in the line up
first gun i’ve ever purchased was a nitron compact 320. love the modular design and even out of the box the thing shoots pretty well, especially considering i only paid ~$400ish for it.
The P320 Xcompact Zev is my favorite version, it’s worth every penny. 💯

Just bought my first p320 and man am I in a cookie jar…spent 350 for mine ended up spending about 800 in accessories, grip, sights, laser on the same day best day ever!
I wish they had a module for a fixed barrel you could install. That would be really nice for the 320. Do the LMT thing and add multiple operating systems for a gun. Like tilt barrel and roller delay on the 320, or rotating barrel.

I'm a Sig guy...p320 m18, m17 slide assy. P365, p226, 516 patrol ar15, 716 patrol ar10.
Kept my 320 for six months and sold it. I love my P220 legion, 226 legion, 229 legion metal hammer fired. The slide was very sloppy on the 320 compact. I don’t have a 320 x5 legion. Still, not down with strikers. Other than the above I have 1911s.
Why legions? Sell me on legion as opposed to any other p226, p229 m11, etc. what am I really getting for that extra money other than a coin and some grips, does sig waive repair fees on their legions should you need to send one back, that might be worth it considering it's more than $150 to send it in.
@@benjamingamache6441 well, for me, it was because I could get a SAO in the 226P Legion. It is about as good as it gets for a 9mm pistol.
@@ironmikehallowween doesn't sig make a standard p226 in SAO, I'm almost positive they do unless they discontinued it.
I own a Legion and a P365 XL. Both amazing guns and both have Romeos so they are very accurate and fun to shoot. However they are one step behind my CZ Shadow 2 which is also very accurate,, but has a remarkable trigger and fits in my hand like a glove.
Who here is a P250 appreciater? I love Dao it's my main carry. I would for sure buy an optic cut slide if they revisit that gun.

I have the p320x compact with the romeo 1 pro and it's awesome.
Its tungsten infused polymer, its all mixed together to be one solid.
I think the metal/tungsten infused grip variants are the best! I personally have poly framed and it’s a great gun, better than most I’ve shot and I’ve shot my fair share. Though it does seem to be a little snappy and in my opinion these with a heavier frame to help are some of the best handguns, along with the legendary p229, p220, p227, and most of the older p-series.
Well I know you can put tungsten rods in the Wilson Combat P365 module so you can probably do the same with the P320. Give it a look cause man WC knows what they are doing.
P229 enhanced elite for the win 🏆🙌 still love my fully custom p320 x carry legion nothing like an all metal sig in my opinion. I'd like to get one of the metal grip frames for the p365 some companies are putting out now a bit pricey though

Was thinking about purchasing one of them 320 spectreComp. But there's companies out there that are charging $1,000 over MSRP and I will never buy that handgun for that kind of money.
A Sig Sauer P320 RXP XCompact is my next gun purchase.
I feel a bit slow having taken so long to get to Sig Sauer.
Their BDX 2.0 scope system on my sniper rifle is perfect, so why not their pistols?
My wife wants my Smith & Wesson Bodyguard. 380 and she suggested I buy a Sig Sauer to replace it. That works for me!

Novice here. Can the P 320 --like the Clock --exchange barrel s to fire different calibers of ammunition?
The modularity is really good but the 1911 style bevertail and the high bore axis is for me a "no go".
The 1980s just called, they want their high-bore axis back.

4:00 I have the P320 M17 with Leupold Delta Point Pro sight on it. It's awesome. My early retirement gift to myself. (25yrs Army and USAF concludes this Fall.)
I really wish Sig would release a 3.9" XCompact. I don't know why they released a 3.6" XCompact when the regular Compact is a 3.9". In a world where a P365, P365xl, and P320 Compact exist, the 3.6" XCompact doesn't.
Just buy a XCarry 3.9" barrel and then just buy an XCompact grip module.
@@mangoboy4848 I tried, but it's discontinued unless I want to get a used XCarry or a fancy upgraded one. Having the XCarry discontinued is another reason why I don't understand why Sig made a 3.6" XCompact when a 3.9" XCompact would have made more sense with the XCarry no longer being available
l like the look and the higher cut of the beaver tail on the x series grip, but the little portion towards the top where they make the beavertail a bit wider is uncomfortable for my dominant thumb with how high of a grip i get. i prefer the slimness of the regular grip and the wilson combat grip for that reason
Yeah the Walther PDP I picked up is sweet, but man is that beaver tail wide. I use the L backstrap to help it not dig into my hand. I try not choking up so much but then my grip feels weak. Really sizing up the P320, not sure why I didn't get one sooner since it was up there when I looked at first guns to buy 5 years ago. I did the same shit with knives though, kept picking up new knives until I found one that scratched the itch...only time I have purchased a knife since is when I had to send her in due to a stripped screw.
I wanted to buy the 320 but then all these reports started coming out about them going off while not being touched in the holster. Now I appendix carry a lot and I Will NEVER Trust A Sig With My Wiener !!!
I’m not aware of the number of incidents after the “voluntary upgrade” has been completed on the original versions but the stigma is difficult to overcome. I believe that the “X” series design changes have eliminated the issue but the concept of carrying any striker-fired firearm has never been appealing to me.

I recently got a sig p320 xten traded my cz 75b clone in 10mm for it and it shoots just as nice. It shoots better than my glock 17 my dad got me
I love the p320 and I bought my first one in 2014 and wondering if the same FCU will fit in any or all these hand modules
Sigsauer has placed themselves behind the 8 ball. Sig was the big dog when civilian law enforcement was switching over from revolvers to automatics, Glock took the world by storm years later that’s still king to this day with a ultra reliable 34 part pistol in many calibers. Sig continued to market those heavy overpriced single double action pistols for 10 years. Now Sig is smarter and has won a military contract for pistols and the new military rifle in 6.8x51mm that will defeat just about anything out there and disable people and equipment.
Also 10mm, bud. I have the xten and surely it was available at the time of this vid.

The part of the gun that should have a serial #, if anything, is the barrel.
And now finally they have an XTEN. ABprototype makes a slide and the 45.acp FCU is compatible with the XTEN grip module. I didn't even know the p320 came out in 2014. I think the military contract gave them the street cred they needed to actually compete in the Market against glock. I absolutely love glock but I absolutely hate the 2x4 feeling grip.

LOVE my P320! Now looking for a conceal carry so I'm torn to which one is the best - the P320 Carry or P320 Compact or the 365? Any ideas?
I think it's too "modular." Way too many variations to make it make sense to me. For example they have a P320 Compact, P320 Carry, P320 Carry Pro, P320 X Carry, and more.
I have a 320 x compact and I want to love it, but it's just not that impressive. I picked up a Shadow Systems MR920 Elite and it beats out the 320 x compact in every way.

I'm not an expert in firearms. I'm not an expert in physics. But, it seems to me that every effort to dissipate recoil whether it's the top, side, whatever, directly dissipates energy of the muzzle velocity of the round being fired. How could it not! That's just common sense to me! I'm sure in this "internet world" there are experts to prove me wrong...or right. I don't have a dog in this hunt but just trying to figure out the next best defensive weapon to invest in.
