Dude.... you are fighting futility trying to fix this. These 3rd gen Chrysler minivans had a horrible issue of battery acid dripping onto the main harness and destroying it causing a myriad of problems. We had TWO of these vans, a 99 Grand Voyager SE and 00 Grand Caravan SE, both with the FFV 3.3L, and they both suffered harness damage which caused a ton of no-start and random driveability issues. JUST JUNK IT. It is a headache you DO NOT WANT.
You’re funny sounds like you gave up too easy i see these everywhere, and people with your just junk it mindset are the reason half of the classics don’t exist anymore! If you don’t want to fix it and would rather junk it for $300 sell it to someone for $1300 firm who does wanna fix it!!! I however enjoy these era vehicles and anything prior and the diagnostic and repair videos go troll elsewhere!!!
@@ryanravencaller I was only simply giving my opinion based upon my experience with these vehicles in the past. That is FAR from trolling like YOU are, loser. Enjoy the harassment report.
This makes me miss my 3rd gen Dodge but it especially makes me feel like I’m learning something and I needed this when my 3rd gen had a weird issue where if the cam sensor was acting up where it wouldn’t start you had to turn the headlights on and off a couple times then try and it would start
I just love those things, not popular around here, never found any sales of those here lately, I seen them on the road, and at church. Well, in the parking lot, someone at church drives a Plymouth Voyager. And my favorite Plymouth car is the Voyager.
My neighbors 93 caravan had that problem they ended up having to replace the computer not sure if it's a TCM or if it was the main pcm engine computer they never had the problem again
@@frankdenardo8684 i assume your cluster is not working at all? Or just the backlights? There are a few videos on the internet showing how to resolder. I have one here you can look at if you want. ua-cam.com/video/0RWkUKbvpX4/v-deo.html
if u unplug upstream 02 sensor behind engine under wiper shrowd. That sensor also is bank 2. 3.3L 1 sensor on cat behind engine, 1 at the end of cat or in it. Unplug that upstream and see if problem goes away. if it does that's it. ;besides that get new temp sensors otherwise car will think its -70 when its actually 72 out and ECU will deactivate fuel injectors and spark. I own a 02. 3.3L V6 bids on my channel and sat for 9 years. Now been on the road for a year. You need a temp sensor. So if its 70 degrees out. If ur temp sensor in side of engine is bad you will get no or un aq readings. Might not start with bad temp sensor sometimes when they go bad sometimes tell the computer -105 instead of normal temp.. replace all temp sensors and ur good 2 go!!
Unfortunately none if these were the issue. I unplugged the upstream sensor (in the video) and verified that. We also tested the temps sensors as good. A faulty PCM was the issue in my case.
@@dancline2143 I've heard of them, newer cars have them. My 2016 Dart did for sure. Why I'm not sure. Maybe to help with not overcharging a cold battery maybe?

Idk that there was a battery temp sensor either
@dancline2143 that's the thing, I don't think there is. Pretty sure it was a "phantom code"
