    My grand uncle (75) eats right and does a few calisthenics exercises each morning, and every time I see this guy it actually makes me hopeful for when old age comes. Slow and steady always won the race.

    My friend died during the covid lockdown in April 2020. She was a triathlete, an Ironman. She did a 60 mile ride, instead of the 30 mile ride she had planned. She went to sleep, but never woke up. Her electrolytes were so low, her heart stopped. She wasn’t able to see her family due to the lockdown, so she retreated to exercise. Too much exercise can kill you.

    A few years ago, I have put on a lot of weight. It was due to fast food and being largely inactive. I decided to do something about it. I began working out and eating better. The results were showing. I began losing weight. As I get fitter and stronger, exercise became an addiction. I began doing way too much. Lifting heavy weights and engaging in high-intensity training. I was running up hills and breaking personal fitness records. As the months go by, I became sick more often and was injury-prone. Eventually, I twisted my knee and suffered a torn chest muscle. My body was breaking down. I took 6 months off exercise. Now I am doing low-impact cardio workouts and I reduced the number of weights, I was lifting. In life, everything is a balance. Please listen to your body.

      That depends too. To become an army, you'll have to go strenuous/extreme training. On the first day, many candidates have failed to. Though, ambulance and ready doctors/ nurses are there to assist the candidates, still few can't survive due to the extreme training. CPR knowledge can help revive a person who have fighting spirit. But if not, then it means fullstop. God in His own decision when the period appears

    According to a recent study, there has been a shift from Weight-loss to Weight neutral -approach. The Weight-neutral approach means increasing endurance and physical activity without consideration of weight. High intense exercise is like a sprinter. Increasing endurance is like a marathon. Another study showed 70% reduction in mortality if people walk 7000 steps per day (i.e. 24 hours). Also, I recommend taking small steps and increasing endurance gradually. And if possible get sunlight exposure for at least 20 minutes a day. This will help by providing Vitamin D. In my opinion brisk walking in sunlight is the best approach.

      Growing number of Gym heart attacks among youngsters teach us that "Weight lifting" is not the way to Good health. But moderate exercising and physical activity is ! We have our anscestors (monkeys) biological make up. Look at your hands, fingers and nails... they are designed to pluck fruits and climb trees! You don't have nails or strong teeth for cutting meat. Your tougue does not like the taste of raw meet. But your brain will drive you to pluck a ripe fruit. You are from a vegetarian mammal species (you drink milk).
      Your nervous sysytem is made to live an active life like monkeys. So do excersice keep your flexibility ! One more example : try to sit in squat position you would feel how relaxed you are. There won't be any strain on your internal organs which is present when sitting on a chair. Lol... Monkeys😄... But don't be a cave man. Follow nature be healthy. Be active..run and shake away stress! Don't try to build your body or attempt to practice unnatural body moves to show off. The Heart muscle that beats cannot be made fit by weight lifting.. rather the heart muscle gets tired to pump blood to the enhanced hand and leg muscles when lifting weight! Be responsible for your health!

    "Training helps, Straining Backfires" - As a Wellness Coach & some1 who was into "Fitness" then & "Wellness" now, I suggest one should gradually up the pace, and not shock the body with a sudden mega routine. We are all witnessing the MORE, ABUNDANCE, & MAX ERA. Everything is "excessive" & enough or limits are not recognized. Excessiveness leads to burn outs. It is impossible to keep up with excessiveness, and as a result we go way up & then crash down. CONSISTANCY & MODERATION are key factors in Wellness. Health isn't a phase, a past/part time, a fad, it aught to be a way of life!! Yes it's good to be "active" and "energetic", but what's good for us in our 20s &30s isn't good for us in our 40s 50s & 60s. Jogging is good in our youth, but as we age jogging can dislocate joints, and jerk the body into all kinds of problems - Walking is better for us as our body ages, and good for ALLLL ages. It's safer, gentler, smoother, slower and steadier. Like Yoga compared to Aerobics. Being overweight is hard, losing weight is hard, choose your hard - But know that the heavier we are the more baggage we carry around & the larger area our organs have to supply to - If you're over-weight loosing the lbs. will be the best thing you can do for yourself - Health is wealth - And that's one of the things no amount of career-climbing or money can buy - Isn't It? Be Good to your body, it's the only one you've got!?

    We have lost great Legend of South Indian Cinema ( Kannada) , I had an opportunity to see him at Gym long ago,@ Bangalore,also interact for few minutes.Such a humble being Very down to earth, who ever meets him, wether he is a common man or a Reputed person, he treats everyone the same.. He always likes to listen to what the common also faces the kind of challenges and had asked me few questions, Tbh never have I seen such an Actor who treats people around just like a family! 😔🙏It's indeed a huge loss to the film fraternity. 🥺But let me also share my thoughts pertaining to the Fitness regimes that any actors goes through.. Now if u consider the Film Industry like a regular job, even they have Deadlines.. so it's like in some Films, they Expect the actors to Gain weight quickly ( for the sake of the Films) , Secondly some film Scripts demand you to Get A muscular 6 pack body for the sake of adventure films just like in a month or so etc..
    ...so what I am thinking is, why is that the actors go through such intense workouts?? Is it the work ( Film - pressures/ deadlines) or is it something that comes from within!??? This question keeps popping my head, eversince the Death of One of the greatest power Stars Mr.Appu Sir( Puneeth Sir) , I wish if he had just skipped his gym Workout the next day, and visited the hospital the previous night, may be he would have been alive.. 🙏🙏🙏🥺🤧🤦‍♂️😭😭
    We need to understand that Film Management needs to give sufficient time to actors pertaining to their Physique and not to hurry up! Cos working out is Fine.. But the Question still arises was their any pressure?? Am sorry No offense to anyone✌✌✌ just sharing my thoughts.. cos we have lost a legend of the south..🙏🙏

    I remember being told as a child that your heart only has so many beats in it before it gets worn out. I'm not sure if that was a way of telling me not to run around the house, but it has certainly made me think about how I do exercise, and like everything else, I do it in moderation. A little bit every day for mobility, or more intense every couple of days.

    • @Leonhart_93
      @Leonhart_93 2 роки тому +2

      Yeah, no, your heart doesn't have a limited amount of beats, it's a total myth. If that were the case, those that always sleep and never move would live the longest, but they live the shortest lives. The heart beats because of its muscle and like any muscle it will continue to move as long as the body is healthy.
