I had fallen for ‘healthy’ food back in 2014-2017 and by mid 2018 I started having SO many digestion issues. This lady is telling truth - my body has gone through the ill effects of smooties, protien powder, seeds, almond milk - avoid avoid avoid these - once your natural digestive system is ruined its SO very hard to restore it.
Almond milk doesn't mess up ur digestion and I've been drinking homade smoothies and taking protein powder for years her statement was 2 broad for me some food is ur enemie some is your friend try ginger and turmeric for better digestion it works green tea as well japan swears on green tea n live to be the oldest healthy ppl in the world

Absolutely fantastic talk… There’s truth in every word you said & I have always believed this. What is harming the gluten tolerant population is not the gluten in wheat but any food that is genetically modified (GMO). As proclaimed by the nutritionist, our body doesn’t need 0.75 to 1.00 gm/ kg body weight. Except for those with some health conditions, no one else needs to count the protein in their food. What’s important is to not go excess with carbs & fats, have good amount of veggies, fruits & pulses in your daily meal. As far as milk is concerned, cows in earlier times were not injected with hormones (oestrogen) to give extra milk & so the milk didn’t cause any harm to humans who consumed it. But if you ask your grandparents, their consumption of milk & milk products was to the bare minimum. Whereas nowadays our daily consumption of milk in its plain form, tea, coffee, curd, buttermilk, ghee, cheese, paneer is way more than our ancestors weekly consumption & this is what is harming us & causing a havoc in our system thus leading to hormonal imbalance. So yes, anybody suffering from PCOD, endometriosis, painful periods, etc will surely benefit from stopping the milk products in all its forms (in short turning vegan), you don’t need to buy the almond, soy or oat milk. They do cost a fortune rather one needs to change the eating habits & reduce the dairy consumption if it’s difficult to stop altogether. There’s nothing wrong in trying oats, chia seeds, kale, broccoli, quinoa, parsely, celery, lettuce at times to understand the taste of different items used worldwide but definitely it doesn’t mean they are anyway more healthier than what your ancestors ate

For that immunity part, I want to add something. Americans or brits consume more "healthy" food than an average indian but india surpassed Covid-19 recovery rate in any country just because an average indian has a way higher immunity than ANYONE. It's all because of our daily homemade food. Our spices. That has boosted our immunity over the years, it's not a one day job. I see how people in west are now trying to sell indian spices like Ashwagandha, tulsi etc to build immunity but the problem is it won't work that quickly. The immunity is build little by little, it's not like you eat tulsi today boom your immunity is build tomorrow. Lastly, indians are not Even considered"healthy" because of our bodytypes . It goes onto show just how broken the idea of health is. Health has become all about looking a certain way rather than not being able to catch a disease. Average indian is least non allergic to anything like western people, who are allergic to lactose, pollen, gluten etc. So yeah! Agreed on everything except few here: 1.protein powder: great alternative if you’re trying to lose weight as it will help you be in calorie deficient. Not everyone esp here in West have time to make each snack or breakfast. 2. Dairy free milk: great for calorie deficient too. 1 cup of skim milk has 100 calories and 1 cup of almond has only 40. 3. Mix greens with smoothie: almost 60% of Americans aren’t eating enough vegetables, if mixing spinach to your smoothie is gonna up your veggie intake and fiber. Why not? Also, Whole wheat bread and brown rice is better as it breaks down differently than white all purpose flour and rice. But no, brown sugar is not healthier option. Not everyone needs this, but it’s a great trick to make weight loss realistic and easier.
While boiling veggies/chicken/meat, just add salt, ginger paste or in shredded form, garlic cloves peeled or crushed, cumin powder, coriander powder slight, little mustard seeds if you like, little chilly powder/green chilly, some turmeric and some masala mix having cinnamon,cloves,elaichi,black pepper, star anise etc. Boil it, add little butter or oil and eat it with bread/rice! That's enough nutrition! 😋😋😋

As far as whole wheat bread is concerned it is definitely better for health compared to white, which is maid from refined flour. So, more than color, it is actually the amount of processing that matters, as more nutrients are preserved.

Absolutely fantastic talk… There’s truth in every word you said & I have always believed this. What is harming the gluten tolerant population is not the gluten in wheat but any food that is genetically modified (GMO). As proclaimed by the nutritionist, our body doesn’t need 0.75 to 1.00 gm/ kg body weight. Except for those with some health conditions, no one else needs to count the protein in their food. What’s important is to not go excess with carbs & fats, have good amount of veggies, fruits & pulses in your daily meal.
As far as milk is concerned, cows in earlier times were not injected with hormones (oestrogen) to give extra milk & so the milk didn’t cause any harm to humans who consumed it. But if you ask your grandparents, their consumption of milk & milk products was to the bare minimum. Whereas nowadays our daily consumption of milk in its plain form, tea, coffee, curd, buttermilk, ghee, cheese, paneer is way more than our ancestors weekly consumption & this is what is harming us & causing a havoc in our system thus leading to hormonal imbalance.
So yes, anybody suffering from PCOD, endometriosis, painful periods, etc will surely benefit from stopping the milk products in all its forms (in short turning vegan), you don’t need to buy the almond, soy or oat milk. They do cost a fortune rather one needs to change the eating habits & reduce the dairy consumption if it’s difficult to stop altogether.
There’s nothing wrong in trying oats, chia seeds, kale, broccoli, quinoa, parsely, celery, lettuce at times to understand the taste of different items used worldwide but definitely it doesn’t mean they are anyway more healthier than what your ancestors ate

For that immunity part, I want to add something. Americans or brits consume more "healthy" food than an average indian but india surpassed Covid-19 recovery rate in any country just because an average indian has a way higher immunity than ANYONE. It's all because of our daily homemade food. Our spices. That has boosted our immunity over the years, it's not a one day job. I see how people in west are now trying to sell indian spices like Ashwagandha, tulsi etc to build immunity but the problem is it won't work that quickly. The immunity is build little by little, it's not like you eat tulsi today boom your immunity is build tomorrow. Lastly, indians are not Even considered"healthy" because of our bodytypes . It goes onto show just how broken the idea of health is. Health has become all about looking a certain way rather than not being able to catch a disease. Average indian is least non allergic to anything like western people, who are allergic to lactose, pollen, gluten etc. So yeah! We indians are pretty healthy people because we consume haldi, dalchini, tulsi, Ashwagandha, ghee, milk etc on a daily basis

Agreed on everything except few here:
1.protein powder: great alternative if you’re trying to lose weight as it will help you be in calorie deficient. Not everyone esp here in West have time to make each snack or breakfast.
2. Dairy free milk: great for calorie deficient too. 1 cup of skim milk has 100 calories and 1 cup of almond has only 40.
3. Mix greens with smoothie: almost 60% of Americans aren’t eating enough vegetables, if mixing spinach to your smoothie is gonna up your veggie intake and fiber. Why not?
Also, Whole wheat bread and brown rice is better as it breaks down differently than white all purpose flour and rice. But no, brown sugar is not healthier option.
Not everyone needs this, but it’s a great trick to make weight loss realistic and easier.

While boiling veggies/chicken/meat, just add salt, ginger paste or in shredded form, garlic cloves peeled or crushed, cumin powder, coriander powder slight, little mustard seeds if you like, little chilly powder/green chilly, some turmeric and some masala mix having cinnamon,cloves,elaichi,black pepper, star anise etc. Boil it, add little butter or oil and eat it with bread/rice! That's enough nutrition! 😋😋😋

As far as whole wheat bread is concerned it is definitely better for health compared to white, which is maid from refined flour. So, more than color, it is actually the amount of processing that matters, as more nutrients are preserved.
