💙I am 1 year into my youtube adventure, and 626 subscribers to my belt. I had already arrived at the conclusion that I had to up my game, and a week ago invested in a brand new computer to edit with. As I had reached the limits of my phone editing. I am planning weekly content with my motorbike orientated channel, with a weekly test ride and a second video with what I have been up to motor bike wize. I hope I can gather some more pace and reach the 1000 subs goal by the summer of 2025... good luck to every one on your own adventures. ❤
I think it's really important to actively engage with the viewers. I answer every comment that people leave on my channel and I go to their channel and watch their videos and leave a comment there as well. Like that one can build up a nice community.
All the small youtubers trying to gather here to increase there subscriber count do read this first: In my POV: If you get the subscribers like this - you might get 1000 subscribers to meet the monetization criteria for your channel but your subscribers will not add value to your content. When you upload a video and your barter subscriber, do not watch the video - your "choose to watch" percentage will go down and after 2-3 recommendations, youtube will stop recommending your video to your subscribers. I know it needs patience because it's a long journey but don't take shortcuts and keep trying.
Great Advice Dan!! Do you have any advice for musicians?? As a musician putting out music videos I find it very difficult to monetize. We get subscribers but the watch hours are hard to get. I am scrubbing through your content looking for tidbits that will help us since we are not creating music videos on a daily basis. We have gleaned some nuggets so keep them coming. Be well and Rock on!!
That's difficult. I have an example where a musician was first publishing gardening videos and he got 800 000 subcribers through that and then he introduced his music and that was a success as well. I use the music from friends in my videos to help them to find a bigger audience.

If you get the subscribers like this - you might get 1000 subscribers to meet the monetization criteria for your channel but your subscribers will not add value to your content.
When you upload a video and your barter subscriber, do not watch the video - your "choose to watch" percentage will go down and after 2-3 recommendations, youtube will stop recommending your video to your subscribers.
I know it needs patience because it's a long journey but don't take shortcuts and keep trying.

Great Advice Dan!! Do you have any advice for musicians?? As a musician putting out music videos I find it very difficult to monetize. We get subscribers but the watch hours are hard to get. I am scrubbing through your content looking for tidbits that will help us since we are not creating music videos on a daily basis. We have gleaned some nuggets so keep them coming. Be well and Rock on!!
That's difficult. I have an example where a musician was first publishing gardening videos and he got 800 000 subcribers through that and then he introduced his music and that was a success as well. I use the music from friends in my videos to help them to find a bigger audience.
