How many are actually there and just how many are on or a part of the great horned rat though? I do wonder if he gives them to the horned rat in exchange for the skaven not screwing him over as much as the old world
Praise be to Nagash! And to make him even better, he’s got the coolest factions to pick from in all of AoS. Want to mindlessly melee your enemy, or really want to play Bretonnia without Old World? Pick Flesh Eaters. Or do you want an organized, calculating force of the best warriors, hand crafted by the Great Necromancer himself? Pick the Bonreapers. Do you want plain old spooky scary undead, just like in the horror movies of old? Nighthaunt and Soulblight are for you.
@@KingInBlack69 Easy! Nagash the Undying King sets things up during the Age of Chaos, Neferata's two novels capture the cunning and Labyrinthine plans the Mortarch is legendary for, Cato the Hollow King is an excellent one to feel that classic vampire esthetic, Last Volari is a thriller with high stakes and great risks in the realm of Aqshy, Lauka Vai also carries herself very well in her namesake book too! Vulture Lord is honestly a stellar Ossiarch novel that gives WAY more to the faction.
You know who has actually won in the setting definitively, not almost. Technically Khorne (along with the other chaos gods but this comment exists to make Pancreas mad)
@@vitaliitomas8121 I didn't say they were good. I just said that they should praise the Bretonnians to annoy Pancreas. Personally, I think the only good thing Mannfred did in his whole career was sell out the Bretonnian refuge world so that it could be destroyed.
Brettonia is a better form of culture and government than the Empire and Leon is a better monarch than Karl Franz. BTW, I don't believe either of those but pissing of Pancreas is funny.
Well I’m sold. _Praise be unto the Undying King; may He rule eternal over all time…_ In all seriousness, I do actually like Nagash, because he seems to have actually taken to the role of a Death God with considerably more gusto then he did when he was a mortal king. He has multiple realms across Shyish set aside for specific souls when they die, he has multiple aspects that travel the realms granting peace to the dying, and is genuinely concerned with the wellbeing of the souls under his care; it may be strictly because they are a source of power for him, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s actually pretty damn good at the job. An example I’d like to provide would be Bal-Nagash, the Black Child. He’s an ephemeral child of black mist that appears before mothers and children who are dying to soothe them in their final moments. In the book Soul Wars, he’s seen comforting a dying mother and her newborn who’ve been touched by the plague and won’t live long. In that scene, I imagined that he allowed the mother a few more precious seconds of life so that she could hold her baby for the first, and last, time. It’s the kind of thing you’d expect from more benevolent gods like Sigmar or Allarielle, but no, it’s _Nagash_ that sits at the side of the dying. It’s _Nagash_ who holds the trembling hand of the elder as he draws his final breath. It’s _Nagash_ who plays with the confused souls of children, guiding them to the Light so that they may not even know the terror of their death. It’s a little light in the darkness that somewhat redeems him…but only somewhat.
@@p4hagen197ok now I definitely want that to be how they canonically bring Settra back to AoS. The skaven resurrecting someone who would oppose them just to mess with someone else is the most Skaven plan imaginable.

Working off my comment about how many Skaven souls are in Nagash's realm. I came to the realization given how fast they breed and die that there's a neverending river of Skaven souls coming in. Which begs the following questions; how many Skaven souls will it take before Nagash's realm is overrun with Skaven? Also how long will it take? How long will it take before said Skaven start screwing up Nagash's plan left, right, and center?
As an additional point to the 'three near complete victories of Nagash', consider just how hard he lost the first two times. Both times he was destroyed pretty completely, but Nagash always comes back, being the Great Necromancer and all. For a second I thought the title was “Gnomish propaganda”
Man dropped this at the same time as Solo Leveling Episode 12 and thought we wouldn't notice
It is later explained that Jin Woo got his powers from Shysh by Nagash's intervention. Such is his power🙏

Nagash is cool and all but he brought back mannfred
Yeah, but then he is not the most hated being in existance
I think that he just likes Mannfred's doomed attempts at backstabbing.
yeah but he constantly tortures, makes fun and toys with him
Nagash felt the need for a Starscream…
Arkhan has already beaten Manfred in a duel and rides a beast entitled "Doom of Traitors", Nagash isn't worried
Pancreas, I'm certain that when it comes to Morathi there are a lot more fluids than just your allegiance.
Pancreas has watched Morathi Rule 34 100%.
Just when I think that Father Pancreas can't stoop any lower... He misses the bar like a dawi at a pull up rack.

So how many Skaven souls does he have running around his realm? LOL
How many are actually there and just how many are on or a part of the great horned rat though? I do wonder if he gives them to the horned rat in exchange for the skaven not screwing him over as much as the old world
Can’t wait for when Settra inevitably returns and PancreasNoWork immediately uploads a video going back of everything he says here.
As he should. Settra does not tolerate such insubordination.
Also Death faction books are all bangers
Flesh Eaters are actually enough Auras to make Star Platinum jealous. Pretty high skill ceiling.
Just look at Ushoran's model and be mesmerized by it's greatness.
@@TheDeathwing5any suggestion? They are my favourite faction, all their races slap!
First a new Skaven video a few weeks ago and now a new Nagash video? You are SPOILING us
My two favorite WFantasy things 💚 🖤
As a necromancy sepremacist, big bone daddy nagash is ultimately a chill dude
You know who has actually won in the setting definitively, not almost. Technically Khorne (along with the other chaos gods but this comment exists to make Pancreas mad)
If you really want to make him mad, you should talk about how great Bretonnia is.😊😊😊
@@joshuasepeda3289 if it good, why it no win?
@@vitaliitomas8121 I didn't say they were good. I just said that they should praise the Bretonnians to annoy Pancreas. Personally, I think the only good thing Mannfred did in his whole career was sell out the Bretonnian refuge world so that it could be destroyed.
Brettonia is a better form of culture and government than the Empire and Leon is a better monarch than Karl Franz.
BTW, I don't believe either of those but pissing of Pancreas is funny.
@@Sweetness71775 Keep doing it.😊😊
Well I’m sold.
_Praise be unto the Undying King; may He rule eternal over all time…_
In all seriousness, I do actually like Nagash, because he seems to have actually taken to the role of a Death God with considerably more gusto then he did when he was a mortal king.
Yeah he is a great guy! And he has great drip!
@@KingInBlack69 Not sure about the first bit, but it’s drip or drown and baby he’s floating
I will like this for such is the power of Nagash
You have been possessed by Arkhan because goddamn I haven't seen such a hype man since the End Times happened
Stop it! This is time of the Great Horned Rat, not some has been necromancer who got beat by a bunch of knife ears.
So the Skaven really are Nagash's Kryptonite, meaning really, really this video is just Skaven Propaganda. Yes-yes.
If anyone can bring Settra back it would be the Skaven, for they exist only to spite him, and Settra would definitely agree with that
@@p4hagen197ok now I definitely want that to be how they canonically bring Settra back to AoS. The skaven resurrecting someone who would oppose them just to mess with someone else is the most Skaven plan imaginable.
It took 14 minutes to sell me. Nothing you really said at all until then but then you reminded me that he regularly punishes Manfred. Great god 9/10.

Listen, I'm a 40k fan ever since my Dad got into 4th edition I fell in love with the setting. You should read some of the books too! Nagash Undying King, Neferata's two novels, Lauka Vai has an absolute banger book!

@@rjfrantz539 imo you should start with "gotrek and felix" and "witch hunter" series' as well--the books he listed are decent but are much deeper lore.
Counter argument, unlike Settra, Nagash cant Tokyo Drift with a chariot, and that's cringe
But how is he going to Tokyo Drift when Nagash blows up his chariot and leaves his skull to the vultures?
@@KingInBlack69 by being offered everything by the Chaos Gods, refusing and Tokyo Drifting without a chariot into the Chaos army, Settra is simply built different

Skaven: And we took-take that personaly.
This gives me a stormcast army idea
Imagine a cult of nagash who train and worship and fight soley to become worthy of the ossiarc. Then they die fighting chaos and are reborn by sigmar.
The amount of drama they would cause would be immaculate
Even the gods he consumed are bullying him
Pancreas, have you considered doing a comparison video of elves through different media and which one is the best? Could even have a special video on the dark elves from different media by itself.
He is not Him(Settra)

To be fair, Such is the power of Nagesh.
As a Nagash simp for the last twenty years I approve of this whole heartedly. Thank you for spreading the word of our bone daddy lord and savior Nagash.
Nagash manages to do the impossible: actually make me root for the skaven.

Side not had a baby boy and he just falls asleep to your videos like nothing
Impressive titles, I agree, but I still prefer the title of "The one true Git!"
Such is the power of Nagash

Are you feeling healthy Pancreas? This video sounds like preemptively sucking up to Nagash before you pass away.
Someday I hope lorecrimes does an episode on Death in the Mortal realms.
As an additional point to the 'three near complete victories of Nagash', consider just how hard he lost the first two times. Both times he was destroyed pretty completely, but Nagash always comes back, being the Great Necromancer and all. If you need evidence for the benefits of serving Nagash, consider that Arkhan the Black has had a pretty good run across millennia and universes.
Speaking of AoS, could you do a video on Alarielle? She seems to be avoided by most lore channels.
