I know this video is 2 years old but man I had been experiencing slow loading into the game and matches and I moved valorant to my SSD and it fixed everything! I tried so many tutorials before and none of them worked except this one. THANK YOU!!

Yea for me it gave me the option to change to another hard drive and I did but when I went to download it said I had no space I had a 1tb left of space kinda gay

This really helped me a lot! the new patch can be downloaded on my disc c and every time I redownload my game, it always goes on disc c even though I keep choosing disk D! Thanks a lot man!
To anyone who will try this in the future: this is amazing!, it really works for my valorant, It straight up goes to my Drive D, but the cut and paste process is really long, but at the end this is very rewarding now I don't have to worry my C drive will be full thank you!

Works perfectly, I originally downloaded the game on my hard disk as it has 1 TB of space but the game always loaded in really late, for example in unrated it took 5-10 minutes to load the game when round 3-4 has already started but now I have moved the game to my SSD and it loads on time but I have less space left in my SSD now

You have to change \ to / , I was getting that wrong. When you go to the notepad on your hard drive, change it exactly as he did and save it to the disk you use, remembering that Valorant needs to be closed. After you finish the process, open the client and download the game normally, a screen will appear informing you that the game is not a new device that you added. My game never got stuck on the loading screen and agent selection screen again
I really appreciate your tutorial, great work! But there is a "shortcut", just do the first part (1:40 - 2:20) - "Moving game files to another disk" And the last part (5:10 - 5:40) - "Asked to install or locate Valorant" - The important part here is to navigate to the "live" folder and press okay. Valorant will do the other stuff on its own, so you dont have to change the location settings (like you did in the video). Downside: you dont feel like a pro hacker if you do it that way :(
