1:38 I think one good thing to mention is that, you probably have more time than you think. Unless you're enemies one tap you with their 500 hertz monitors, before you even see them
counter strafing is NOT required in valorant, in counterstrike your movement carries a lot more moment thats why its required, but here, its no different from letting go of the key, people are just shooting faster than it takes for the key to disengage, which gives the movement error. even your last shot on the demonstration before moving to icebox showed you still made that same error. even the icebox example you were at a dead stop before you even started aiming.
@@KarmaTurnipif you were planning to hold down both keys, I'd agree with you. But most people will see the tap of the opposite key as lifting the first key. It's just a timing thing people need to practice, counterstrafing has no benefit other than complicating things
Instead, learning deadzoning is much better. This is when you move from left to right and theres a small window on non-movement when you switch directions, which lets you shoot a bullet and then keep moving right after. This can throw off enemies while you fight them and its harder for them to shoot you. I recommend watching Woohoojin's gunfight hygiene video to learn more
@@KotteKumardead zoning is great for sending bullets around cover. Id say bursting is better for more open or fairer fights. Buy when you have cover to play around deadzoning is very very strong
Correct me if I'm wrong, but counter strafing isn't a thing in Valorant, It came from CSGO and everybody just assumed it applies to Valorant too. But a few people tested it and found that it doesn't actually help, since in Valorant you stop instantly when releasing the movement keys Edit: this video shows it well: ua-cam.com/video/PssMw773_iY/v-deo.htmlsi=vmx1eknnm4JuDacJ
You don’t instantly stop but counter strafing also does not make a difference. You use counter strafing for deadzoning which is a mechanic when your firing error is 0 when you’re still in movement because Valorants firing error system is based off of velocity. I think MrLowLander used counter strafing like deadzoning basically but not entirely as he didn’t fully strafe in the other direction
6:41 “I’ve been doing this since the first day I started playing valorant” guess what buddy, I’ve been doing this since I was 10 years old…..literally lmao
Extra tips for that counter strafe technique - Master spray pattern only the first 8 bullet. - aim at enemy head before your character body stops. - Do not shoot if you know you cannot get 1 tap - Practice A D A D in the range & deatrchmatch 30 mins before go comp, ONLY USE SHERIFF - Do not afraid to die just use Sheriff and aim at the moving head. - If necessary use your knife to learn self control. - Crosshair placement every corner - Lastly master counter strafing until it becomes second nature to you Unlocks more micro adjustment abilities: - Make sure your mouse size grip to your hand - Only two finger on the mouse, other 3 finger must hold the mouse & touching the mousepad - Aim using your arm, wrist, finger & tip of your finger skin.
Nah the reason I can't headshot is if I cant see their head how am I gonna shoot their head? (I have far sight blindness) For your info yes my headshot rate with weapon like Guardian and marshal is 60% more or less if weapon where u don't ads the headshot rate is like 8%
Nah cause valorant especially on console has a pretty retarded first shot accuracy and bullet spread I could deadass be aiming at someone’s skull and still miss or the shot will count as a body shot
The idea of flicking is definitely something that you have to get used to first, making micro adjustments is better once you've learned fast flicking, 1 smooth motion isn't the way to go for learning that though. Instead of micro adjustments, aim for the head and do 2 mouse movements, 1 to go a bit higher in ur headflick and the other to move to the enemy, helps with learning the micro adjustment timing.
Just play guardian only. It teaches you to aim for head level, punishes you for crouch spraying and going for body shots, improves movement, better positioning, makes you better at holding angles. It basically punishes you for doing mistakes that the vandal and phantom would reward you for. Also holding close is okay if the other guy has an operator.
My problem is that I’m inconsistent cause I’m new to PC and started Valorant about a week ago but the matchmaking puts me against more experienced players multiple times in a row despite me clearly having a hard time facing them. I’m lvl 15 so I only play unranked. And it doesn’t help that my teammate flames me in chat telling me to just aim and how much I suck when I’m trying to hit the lvl 300 Jett that’s dashing left and right and jumps on my head, while I’m trying to stay calm and aim before shooting. It’s so discouraging and then I play more passively with each round cause I don’t want to make mistakes and I know I don’t even have a chance against these opponents.. it’s mentally exhausting. Then ofc we get the “EZ” in chat from the enemy. It’s not fun at all and no I’m not learning anything from it, just makes me play worse. Even if I muted text chat I know it wouldn’t do much cause matchmaking is the issue.

It will allow you to build the skill better so you get the skill of flicking it will be great you’ll be able to flick and slow down and get head shots I’m still getting used to playing controller and I can computer and a controller is 100% different on valor at least in my opinion take your time it doesn’t matter if you die it matters if you get the ability to headshot

I can understand why many don't like hearing "take your time to aim", but MrLowlander isn't wrong the reason is simple you peak incorrectly ( peekers advantage ) you have about a second or two to process and set your crosshair but would only really need a second if you can vision you were the enemy how would you hold and expect a peek, sometimes you are wrong but a lot of times it will help. Maybe even have your crosshair ready, and have a certain kind of peek ( wide swing, standard, ect ) hell you don't always need to peek like those you can peek for info ( jiggle peek, jump peek, ect ) before taking an aim duel. better to think smart than trying to work harder.
This would have been right. That is unless u play on Frankfurt servers. My crosshair is on the head. And nothing happens. Not to mention you always get headshotzed in 0,01 seconds
Let me tell you a trick to improve: "Play without headphones", I mean with zero sounds. Your all senses except hearing will become 100% active while playing. You will notice that you will be covering every angle where the enemy can peek because you have no sound, you will focus more on your aim because you have only few time to kill the enemy, your reflexes and aim will become more better and you will be connecting good head shots. Why i am saying this is because we are very much dependent on sounds in valorant especially the footsteps and our brain focus more on hearing then actually aiming the enemy and covering the angles. Well this worked really better for me, you must try as well and see.
ENOUGH of counter straffing. Yeah counter straffing is a thing but on Valorant you have way better : you can do the opposite of counter straffing and using the momentum you have when you change position, a really tiny second where your FCKN vandal is precise and hit the HS. Juste press Q like a monkey an travel the map like this for a moment, then when you feel release Q and press D in same time, the exact moment when you will change your direction will be the saint accurate timing, yes it's hard to take the timming but its a thing and thats why you take HS from a running brimstone, he isn't run'n gunning.

I dont understand why people still claim counter strafing works in valorant, its a thing from cs. Yes some valorant pros do it, but they do it cause they still have the habit from years of cs. In valorant just let go off the key. Even Tenz talks about it and tests it how pointless it is. ua-cam.com/video/20BV4m1TcGE/v-deo.html
bruh! My aim is at silver grade but ı am bronze because in turkish servers a lot of troll a lot of smurf a lot of afk ı got 1 troll 1 afk ı played extra and we got to 11-12 and we lose
Nooooo I am late and the eggwick plushie and fishy is S teir
Pro tip : if you have the lowlander plushie you’ll win every game ❤❤
Really? Warm-up? O don't need warm-up I'll go straight competitive and have lose streak
Thank you! this will be very helpful! Appreciated it
i play while laying in bed (i cant afford a desk) . the flickingpart is difficult for me i can barely turn 60 degrees in one motion
Anytime I peak angles hold angles or am just in a gun fight I instantly get one tapped my aim is good it’s just they always seem to know where I am every second of the game I’m bronze 3 and these kids play like diamonds
i have shaky aim gold dont play the game much but I have 35 percent headshot percentage and use a vandal the vandal works with shakky aim if u can just make it near the headshot
Why can’t you get headshot: ur aim sucks aimlab is free (it couldn’t fix my aim both in game and in bed)
8:07 what can be done? Here’s an idea: don’t take fights outside your weapon’s effective range! 🤯🤯🤯
Headshots are easy with every weapon for me but the sniper is my weakness
my mistake is using a cheap ass mouse for two years that i have to push into the mousepad for it to move properly and then wonder why I'm playing like dogwater
counter strafing is practically useless in this game, you slow down the same speed if you just let go of the key, its a placebo effect because you are giving yourself a reason to not shoot, but it is the same slow down
It might be cuz my mouse pad is literally a piece of paper gel down but random objects around my house
bro i hit the enemies head but the game says i hit the body but i CLEARLY hit the head im not joking. and bro i dont have time to adjust my crosshair to their head. the moment i see them they headshot me. lower ranks suck
im beginner . Recoil in valo is killing me LOLS. i play so much CSgo controlling recoil becomes a habit.
ive got 2 days to get good enough aim to beat my friend at a deathmatch tournament, prize is a monitor. (im bronze, hes immortal)
Honestly I just don't think about it and luck makes me get headshots anyway, I don't even aim at their heads lol
Mrlowlander kan je ook ééntje maken voor console dus eigenlijk controller voor de mensen zoals ik die op console valorant spelen danke je
mrlowlander is the elderflame pay to lose? everytime i use it my bullests go to narnia when i use something like reaver i hit 1 taps
0:10 bro you gave me emotional damage im gonna unsubscribe if you keep on saying those stuff >:) hehehehe
Is it me or does every team have a jet or reyna on the enemy team that taps like they play for a pro team? Headshots are much harder on csgo on valorant almost all kills are headshots
How to get a 100% headshot rating on your next game: buy blub blub guardian easy one taps
Sheriff and vandal literally have the same first shot inaccuracy
me with 0.2 sens 800dpi but my friend still say my aim shaky and cant hit headshot. why
Love you mr lowlander. You're the goat
❤️❤️
forget headshots, i cant hit the enemy because my crosshair is on enemy but my bullets go to the left of, to the right of, or above the enemy
3:08 Mousepad?! I think I'm missing something crucial here...
there is no counter strafe need in valorant, its not faster its placebo, its not counter strike
If you cant head shot, just practice what you are good at like playing cypher on a site and dont rotate
my monitor is so small, like 20 inches, i can barely see the head at long range. thats my problem
I knew someone already commented, 0 views in 1 second. (It's been a minute)
Solution for the accuracy of the bullets MID distance aim for the neck - Long distances aim for the head I'm radiant in LATAM and that's something that I learned after a long time playing this game and it took me a WHILE to understand the bullet mechanics in this game GL on your rankeds and have a nice day aim training
They say aim for body in long range.
WHEN YOU SAID IF YOU ARE FREE TO SUBSCRIBE THAT SUBSCRIBE BUTTON SHINED AND I SUBSCRIBED :)
Why are your bullets not spreading even though you’re not aiming?
I suck at long range fights. Does someone have a tip on how i can improve?
