I'm gonna redo this video and upload a more comprehensive tutorial. This current one is fabulous for beginners and intermediate players, but it leaves room for improvement especially for higher ranks. Many fights in higher ranks have a lot more nuance and I want to try and provide a complete guide for understanding how you should've taken any given fight.
When I first posted this I didn't expect the viewership I ended up receiving - and the advice is a bit one-dimensional for my liking in hindsight.

JESUS. This is probably the single most helpful valorant "tip" i've ever seen. I get frustrated so much because i recognise that i'm literally standing still and not displacing my hitbox at all. but given the nature of the game I found it hard to weave movement into my gameplay. the "2-tap strafe" combo is just enough to make opponents miss. in the games i've played so far implementing it i've quite literally noticed enemies whiffing due to the slight left or right movement. i ended up going flawless and winning a DM almost immediately after watching this video. I know it's not some magical pill that'll make me a god but it's definietly filled a hole in my gameplay. thank you. liked and subbed. Hope the algorithim picks this up!

0-5 meters = Run n Gun or crouch spraying (moving is essential)
5-15 meters = 2 tap burst and when you connect the bullet you can go into a spray
15-30 meters = 2 tap burst and strafe, 2 tap burst and strafe (try and go for headshots), cant have more than 3 bullets and no movement inaccuracy
30-60 meters = same thing but use ads if needed

It's so hard to kill the habbit (as someone who played cs) to stop spraying even on mid-range.
My habit was always to try and start the spray with a HS, so if you don't hs you revert to spraying, if hs -you just stop.
But in valorant it seems way more important (like you show) to "deazone", and try hit a shot, revert to spray if closer or revert to burst/re-strafe depending on mid or long range.
    Super good info

i used this for my training:
basically i just jumped to a deathmatch, unbind my crouch key, went for ghost only, aim for only heads whilst doing the movement. the essence is that for me to get comfortable with the movements and grow it into a habit, it doesnt matter if i didnt kill the enemy, since if it was a real fight (with vandal/phantom) i'd probably killed them already (since im only aiming heads). go ahead and try it, it works well with me!

If you hit 1 shot on the head with a vandal, it's over for them. If you're aiming for there body, fix your aim and train to aim for the heads.
Deathmatch is good for that for just getting your base aim to be on heads, will win you gunfights so much easier.
And movement is key but it's also about the guns you use, spectre up close is spray and pray, dmr you want to just
shoot a bullet move to the left, shoot, move to the right esc. It's not alway about gun play it's about movement, I'm
not the best to learn from but hey, tips are tips even if these don't help good players they might help new players.

0-5 meters = run and gun
5-15 meters = 2 tap burst with moving left and right, once hit the target switch to a spray
15-30 meters = 2 tap burst with moving left and right
30+ meters = same thing as 15-30 but you can switch it up with aim down sighting and one tap firing
Leaving this here for lazy people who don’t wanna watch a 4 minute video
