This woodworking book is really detailed, t.co/SGIXIPXR0z ! With the aid of this plan, I was able to use words, drawings, real images and different diagrams. It is really an informative product. I am presently making furniture together with my brother and thanks to this product, I feel like helping him is possible.?

I right away said before starting the video, that cabinet looks like an aquarium stand. Spot on as I build 3 from scratch for my setups, 2 reef - 1 discus setup. Looks freaking beautiful with an eye for details. DIYs are always interesting, specifically the final project is revealed.

never knew MDF could look so nice! dude, that's a really nice mixing system you have there. I need to invest in a good sprayer.im sick of wasting money on good rushes by the time I come back around to using them they're hard as a rock and even when they do something up there never the same.as always nice work matt!

With ANY pneumatic sprayer (even lesser quality) you've GOTTA take the entire thing apart & clean it till water will run through clear.
I'm a Set Designer, Lead Scenic Painter & I used to be an on-set carpenter. I've had my share of expensive AND cheap guns, but cleaning is the only way to get an even spray(like the gun is new again!).
Hope this helps man! Cheers! ✌

Hey Matt, your cabinet looks great and would love to give you some tips on the painting for cabinets. I have a cabinet shop. Sanding sealer will seal the grain in the oak plywood and the cut ends on the MDF . There is also a more dense MDF if you are having issues with that. I recommend Pre-catalyzed tinted lacquer for the finish. Not that the automotive paint you used can't work but the Lacquer can get so many sheen options as well as aging, distressed and other amazing wood working possibilities. Hit me up if you are interested in this stuff. Your work and detail looks really good!

Any time I suggest to someone to use automotive finishes in woodworking it is usually just dismissed or laughed at. Few realize how much better they are and how much easier it is to get a nice finish with and the durability is way better. Automotive clear is the best thing to use on kitchen cabinets. Much more durable.

The reason I didn't use auto body filler is because I really didn't feel that it was necessary and the filler is much harder to sand. I felt that because of that reason it might give me trouble with the mdf being softer and the areas around the filler sanding away before the filler sanded smooth. Hope that makes sense! Thanks for watching!!

Mel and part board doesn’t always mean “cheap” ………much more stability in varying climates so no butt cracks in winter... Glue glue glue with MDF splines more glue and clamps and you could build a particle board skyscraper. I’m not moving in but you get the point…………but anyway nice work dude the finish is sweet!!

A loser move? You realize Bondo is a brand right? I've been painting cars for the last 10 years, I'll put my finish beside your any day you want to. Why would you use auto body filler when you know it's harder than the MDF once hardened. There is no way you can get the surfaces to be flat and in the same plane.

Okay, I don't want to spend out to have all these fun toys at home, but I definitely need to find a friend who does! This is the way to finish all household cabinetry, especially for wet areas!
Also, lad - your party suit would look a lot better with a full hood and external ventilator, and also if you wore it every time you spray any paint. A long life is a good life!

This was an awesome video to watch but you are clearly a highly experienced professional and the average person could not do this. I really like the modern way to build aquarium stands because it has plenty of room inside the cabinet and yours's is clearly the best quality I've seen. Now I have to find someone local that can build one for me. The finished stand is awesome!

Really nice looking cabinet. Never thought of using mud to patch holes and cracks. Next time you glue a couple of sheets together, you can fire a couple of small Brad's into them. That's will keep them from sliding around when you clamp them.

Thanks, the drywall mud works great! Yeah, the brad nail idea would probably work.
