In Taiwan, most main crops have been harvested completely. The weather of your country is cooler. If I do some pruning, my fig trees might able to produce main crops for the second round and be ripe in time.
Have you tried Desert king in the ground? I am about an hour north of you and bought one at Lowes last year. It survived the winter with no damage by burying it. Now I am reading they don't produce fruit without a wasp. Should I just remove it and start over with a Chicago hardy or something like that?
I am in 7a zone and find wasp are not the primary pollinate. Common old ants pollinate the five varieties I have for both crops. I split the fruit and if ants are present I blow them off and eat the marvelous fruit!
I’m making a air layer of my panache to give to my friend and I was wondering wen was the best time to cut off and plant a air layer should I wait for next spring

They will produce breba without pollination, but they won't produce the main crop without pollination. So you will only get breba.

I'm thinking of planting one. Assuming it survives the winter with no damage, it's a really good choice for early breba.

This will totally depend on what zone you live in and average winter low temps.
Wait to it gets dormant if not if will shock the airliner I made this mistake
Oh that makes sense I’ll definitely wait till it’s dormant
Are the roots hardening off?
I think I was sold a San Pietro labeled as a brown turkey from Lowe's.
When the eye of the Fig ( ostiole ) gets color
Pink ( red ) it's one month from ripening.
I heard that from a Fig farmer in the
middle east.
Every variety is different.
