the only thing bro it was not the original 4 members of the band you were seeing,i saw them with original 4 in 1996 4 times and 2 times in 2000 and i was satisfied with every show i went to,I only saw non makeup shows like before desert storm in 1988 and 1990 and 1992 and i thought that they sounded like a tribute band to themselves.
My wife got us tickets to that show down in Cleveland for Sweetest Day, we drove down from Michigan to see them and it was definitely worth it. There’s no words to describe it, KISS is definitely in my top 5 favorite bands. Thank you KISS for the memories #kissarmyforever

Been a life long fan. I finally got to see the original members in Tampa Bay on their early farewell tour 1999-2000. Saw them just before Covid hit in El Paso, Texas. Paul's voice is gone and it is a natural ending for them. Kiss created the modern rock show Period!!
I should've went to this show. I've seen them half a dozen times. Never gets old. Paul has about run his course. His voice is just giving out. But they're still the best to ever do it. No live show is even close.

Seen Kiss many many times over the years. I went to this show with my son to see if they were as bad as everyone says. To my surprise they were actually really pretty good still. yeah it is the same show and yes it is a little cheesy, BUT they did not disappoint at all. Having a great time and enjoying themselves. And it was a lot of fun.
I do hope they're going to change things around a little for their farewell Madison Square Garden shows. It would be incredibly lazy of them just to do this show that they've been doing for a few years now.

Why would anyone say Play War Machine when they already play it. And they don't get a negative reaction when they do. Too bad porourke, you're alone on this one.
For those who don't think Paul's lip syncing. If you pay close attention, you can easily catch how he's trying to fool you. Very beginning of the show... He sings the first few lines of Detroit rock city... And he yells in the mic and stuff as if to show "See I'm really singing".... and they make sure to get a close up of him on the screens so you can see... but then, once the first chorus hits... The tracks kick in. Listen to the vocals on the first verse... then the vocals on the rest of the verses.. you can hear a CLEAR difference. His voice is real shakey on the first few lines.. cuz its him really singing.. then all the sudden the vocals are a lot better. These are tracks he's recorded later in his life, not the ones from the album.. So, it does KINDA sound live... there are a few places throughout the show where he'll sing... but, I'd say 85 to 90 percent of his vocals are canned. Gene does most of his singing seems like... and eric and tommy are singing some back ups, but there are a lot of background vocal tracks running too.

Most of what you're getting through the main PA are the vocal tracks, and if you notice... even when he's talking to the crowd and shit you can hear how rough, and scratchy his voice is... it breaks constantly.. and you think the smooth vocals you hear most of the show are coming from the same guy? Sorry lol... but that's just not the case. I've been in bands and performing live for most of my life. Believe me when I tell you he's DEFINITELY lip syncing the vast majority of the set.
Stayed at the party for real rock and rollers for way too long. They were done in 2000. Sonic Boom and Monster were unnecessary albums. Give me heart and desire, not dollar signs.
