- Pakistan’s foreign minister Ishaq Dar has said that Islamabad will “seriously consider” restoring trade ties with India, which remain suspended since August 2019. Dar’s remarks come as pressure mounts from the business community to resume trade with India amid grave economic turmoil in Pakistan. However, the problem with Pakistan has been that it does not speak in one language, and this was evident in the statement made by Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who wanted to move a joint resolution on Kashmir and Palestine. Indian father's and mother's, of all caste, creed, religion, sex, colour across all states in India, are diligently engaged in a healthy competition to educate their son's and daughter's vocationally / professionally, so that they get better and better job's, with better CTC's, so that they can experience enhanced standards of living. This silent effort by the visionary Indian parent's has essentially catalysed the phenomenal growth in Indian GDP and reserves by way of remittances from overseas. Why on earth should the Indian Government donate the hard earned money of ordinary Indian tax payers, for the betterment of youngsters from hostile neighbouring countries, whose parent's do not want to educate their own children vocationally / professionally and pursue the opportunities available in the competitive fields of high technology or medical sciences, towards furtherance of the human race. Obselete are the mindsets that depends only on "ALMS" and "ARMS" and essentially try to beg, borrow or steal from Indian's who have earned their bread and butter by sheer dint of hard work.
Pakistan India relations is not a normal one. Pakistan's history relating to state sponsored terrorism, Balakot, Uri, Pulwama, Mumbai, Khalistan, Kashmir, etc, are unfinished business. Besides, the current Pakistan government has no electoral legitimacy. Finally, the mood of the majority Indians is not to have any trade or people to people contact. Who is in charge, Zardari, Asim Munir, Sahebash Sharif, or Imran Khan?
