Pakistan’s newly appointed Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar hints at resuming trade with India. Addressing a press conference, Dar said that his country is "seriously" looking into restoring trade ties with India which were suspended in August 2019 after the abrogation of Article 370 by the Indian government. Dar said, adding that “we will seriously look into matters of trade with India" When Pakistan suspended its trade ties with India, it said the decision to revoke the special status for Jammu and Kashmir undermined the environment for holding talks between the neighbours.
