This 65 year old white boy digs the hell outta Ernie and his amazing licks. This song was one of my high school anthems back in the 70’s👍👏🎼🙏🏻
Me two white but ain't tight rocked with all our friends and more
THIS 1977 ISLEY CLASSIC SOUND BETTER THAN ANYTHING TODAY
Ugotthatright!
There's so much Jimmy Hendrix in this song, i'm sure he broke out in a huge smile and patting his foot to this performance by Erny
SUCH AN AMAZING SONG !!!!! IT'S BEYOND BRILLIANT , THE GUITAR , VOCALS , THE BAND, EVERYTHING !!!!! it EVEN has a Biblical reference when they say " don't try me , try my faith now babe , I said Daniel's stopped the mouths of beasts " Daniel in the Lions Den .
Thanks for that biblical insight 🙏🏿
DA BADDEST BROTHERS ON THE PLANET ..........ISLEY RULES!!!!!!
One Of the Best Songs Ever Made , love the Guitar Work by Ernie Isley !!!!! Many References to the Bible also , I Love that .
It blew my mind in 77 and it still does, now that is a REAL SONG

Ernie! One of the ever best guitarist!
Truly the best in black rock & roll funk 🎶🎶🎸🎤🎼🥁
Truly!
Great content. I don't what anyone says. ernie is the best guitarist ever. Remember, he was taught by the best Jimmy hendrix.
Bro u knocked it out of the park. the duo of Hendrix_ Ernie Isley will never be topped
Not true jimi didn’t teach Ernie shit, he did live with family but Ernie was a kid more interested in playing baseball and riding his bike. By the time Ernie decided to pick up a guitar jimi was over in england
A man's music.
This 65 year old man saw them at 12yrs old for my first concert! Growing up in the bay area was unique. Don't matter who makes the music. You know good music music when you hear it

Ernie Isley kills it. When Ernie gets down I think Jimmy.
So special to me. My mom took me to my first concert to see them and Richard Pryor when they changed their style. Who's that lady and Sumner Breeze.I was 12yrs old and hooked ever since. My story was very unique. I loved the funky songs on one side and the love songs on the other side. My story is to much to share. Just special to me.
Did the Bump, Cobo Hall ,Detroit 1976, with multiple Black ladies....yo, and im a white guy 16 yrs old at the time....
Great song, by a great band... Thanks for all the amazing music through the years.......
Ernie isley is the best guitar player to day and he play very good better than those rock groups.
This song made you Realize that the "Herb' was taking you to a much Higher Place along with Ernies licks, and that Backing Beat from the Band the Rhythm Guitar 'Chucka Chucka' _ Straight Black Vodoo
That chukka chukka is actually Chris Jasper on the clavinet
THE ISLEY BROTHERS.... THE LONGEST RUNNING ROCK SHOW IN MUSIC HISTORY....YA HEAR THAT STONES AND BEATLES... ZEPPELIN? FUCK YEAH
Saw them in Montgomery last year with my daughter. They didn't play this song (my favorite) but it was just an overall great evening in an outdoor setting.
1977 FUNK MUSIC IS WAY BETTER THAN HIP HIP IN MY OPINION
They deserve many Grammys ....I wonder how many they have.
That was so damn funky!!!!

🎸🔥❤️🎸🔥❤️🎸🔥❤️🎸🔥❤️🎸🔥❤️
This is a great song
I play it myself
I don't like the video editing However if you look very closely you'll see many out-of-sync flaws in the video this video contains edited footage and clips put together to make it look like they're playing this particular song..
They were much younger when this song came out Chris Jasper , O'Kelly, Marvin, Rudolph, and the other brothers were all involved in that sound of that era don't be fooled as far as I know there isn't a real true video to this song..
🥰
I don't like this video
This is just a collage of videos put together to make it look like they're playing but they are not really playing this song.
The song was done back in the seventies and they wearing modern day clothes from the '90s
Ernie wasn't playing on a zeal Stratocaster back then even some of the guitar and drum parts are not in sync with the video
Rudolph, O'Kelly and Marvin was in the group when this song came out they're not in this video
As described . . .
"The Isley Brothers performing a mix of songs in a compilation of edited clips dubbed with an extended remix of one of my favorites from them, “Climbin’ Up the Ladder” from their album, “Go for Your Guns” (1977)."
Thanks for watching anyway.
The worst Isley Brother video of all time
“The worst Isley Brother video of all time”
That’s a lot of certainty based on a speculation.
Unless you have actually looked at every single Isley video that’s ever been produced, there’s no validity in your comment.
Perhaps you should edit it to say it’s the worst of all that you’ve ever seen.
Still--a figure likely to represent just a very small sample size of the true total--that’s not saying much either.
Thanks for watching anyway.
