A brilliant review thank you I have just ordered a C-HR Design in Satin Grey, your review is so good I ordered my previous Toyota as a result of your very good review.
@@rivervalegroup I have bought Toyota cars over the last forty years and never had a breakdown, I have bought just about every model produced, so the C-HR is new to me. I will say Jonathan Crouch gives a highly professional and informative review and can be taken seriously thank you.

Hector Savage most are FWD. Only the top spec version is AWD but its only one of those part time setups which only activates the rear wheels if the front wheels slip, so its not a system designed for grip on dry roads unlike Subarus which have the best AWD setup for road use. Would be okay in snow or muddy roads I guess, but only if you had all season tyres on it at the very least. Personally you might as well just get the FWD version because its not an off roader, and as I say, you wont notice any better grip or handling on dry or even wet roads with this type of AWD system.
@@rivervalegroup yes. Actually looking at many brand more less same models. Vw t roc, this Toyota, mazda cx 30. But New tucson is bigger for almost same amount of money

*I don't normally bang on Toyota. I'm a big Fan of their Older Camry's (I just gave my 1996 Camry Station Wagon to my Youngest Son), It's at over 350K miles and still runs like a Top, and I currently own a Highlander. But this? This is an Expensive Chick Car with questionable performance and a spotty history. 31 MPG is the best they can get with this over priced Japanese Beetle? No Thanks. I cannot begin to fathom why Toyota built this vehicle nor what Market they were targeting.*
I easily do 52 mpg driving 62 mph, so I have no clue where your 31 MPG is coming from. On grocery trips I've hit 60+ mpg. "spotty history", it's build on the Prius drivetrain. THE most reliable hybrid drivetrain in existence right now. "with questionable performance", it's no race car that's for sure. But for every day traffic it's totally fine. How often do you need to do 0-60 sprints in normal driving? The answer is never. You never have to do 0-60 sprints.
Negative points.... Rear cabin space claustrophobic is really best for a couple with no children... Luggage space really limited... Infotainment very dated, very lagging navigation so you have to use your phone.. Some plastics appear very cheap - even if they are surely serviceable.. Choose the 2.0 engine as the other one needs worked hard so you lose any economy (unless you want to go slowly everywhere... And the final big negative.... Try this vehicle before signing.. It's a CVT and they really are not pleasant to use under power.. Even though toyota do the best CVT it's still rather rubbish and only there for economy and CO2 reasons..
They are far too over styled in my opinion. A silly car, not sure what its really supposed to be. Most models are FWD only, it has pretentious body trim and moulding to make it look like it would go off road. Pointless car for people who will trade it in after three years for another "must have" fashion statement car that does exactly the same. Waste of money. Id sooner get a Subaru XV or the Impreza hatchback. Ignoring all the pointless facts and figures regarding economy and 0-60 times etc, Subaru makes a far more sensible choice in the long term, and will run rings round this CHR for handling in all weathers.

We got an upgraded version from 2020 but I would have loved it without the upgrades.. Fun car to drive- And adaptive cruise control is so useful
This definitely helps me a lot, thank you!
We're glad! Thanks for watching 👍
Did try the 2,0 and we are getting one - very pricy indeed and excellent driving experience.

mpg at high speed is not good at all 35mpg at 80mph …. would it be better on 2.0 L ?

A very Professional presentation.

the offer should stick to Prius size wheels to optimize MPG…. why waste fuel?
