@reginaldmolehurst459 I was recently on holiday in Greece with this car, and wow it was surprisingly good, the suspension is floaty but on turns it is flat. A little punchy off the line but not so powerful (I have a 530i as personal car) I was so impressed by the quality and audio even. I'm now considering buying the car as the mpg was genuinely 60mpg and thats from giving it some here and there , I'm currently getting 17mpg driving around heavy footed on my 530i. 7:57 is it less headroom in the back compared to your previous video of the c-hr 2018? I see there you've had more headroom or is it just the sitiing position? I would highly appreciate if you would give me a response, thank you!
You may find this helpful. I have a 2021 1.8 model and recently achieved 90 mpg over a 24 miles journey. I thought did I see the display correctly before it went off but travelling more or less the same route since then over 22 miles (this time with a long steep hill to climb just before stopping) managed 89.3 mpg. There is knack to achieving this. If you are travelling on the level and see the road ahead incline downward even if ever so slight, take you foot of the accelerator momentarily. This will engage EV when perhaps the petrol engine would normally be running. Apart from this try to be careful with acceleration keeping it smooth and steady avoiding the power range of the rev counter ensuring to stay in the eco section as much as possible. You can also refer to the mpg indicator based on engine revs that uses a linear scale to show economy. Sometimes if your speed is sufficient on the flat you can take your foot of the accelerator for a few seconds without hardly any drop in speed but with the mpg maxed out. I wouldn't say I am a fast driver and this has a lot to do with it. What I will say is short journeys in cold conditions will have a great impact on mpg expected and at one point I have been as low as 39 but never disheartened by this as I know the average when accounting on the above figures means the return is still very much acceptable.

I just bought a 2020 have had it now two weeks today 30Sept2020. Coming from a AWD Equinox to this is a completely different driving experience. I’ve had a few Toyota cars before and I came back for dependability. That Chevy was nothing but problems after 4 years. So far I really enjoy it but I’ll wait to see how it handles in a Buffalo NY winter. Shalom
Matt introducing his dad. "This is my dad, he's a little bit like..."
And he's a little bit like my grandad. Now, if you're not British, let me explain. You see; your grandad is the official dad of your dad, usually because of how reproduction in humans works
@@sajjeel123 i read those lines with matts voice. lolz 😂😂
@@sajjeel123 lmaoooooo 💀

The CHR is so comfortable and easy to drive, really my ideal car. I was looking to buy a hybrid CHR this year but decided on the new generation Yaris instead. Maybe there will be a new generation CHR in 5 years. You can't go wrong with this one.
Bro its not really all that great, just buy the volkswagon taos or the rav4 or even a corolla. This cars infotainment is annoying, gets worse mileage than the rav 4, is wayyyyyy too cramped in the back. The rav 4 is more expensive but its just practical. You dont even get a usb port in the back.
@@AngelFish007 i’m 5’3 and i hate driving the rav4 lol. not too high, feels great in that aspect but just feels massive inside at my height even though it’s nearly the same length as the corolla
19:09 Another Car Got Exploded
I’ve watched this channel for a long time and I’ve decided to start my own channel doing the same videos in POV but with my personal car a Golf 5 GTI DSG, Thank You Guys For Inspiring Me! More cars will be coming soon!
Mats getting more childish with age. And I salute him big time for that 👍
01:58 😂😂😂😂😂
We appreciate the comedy 🤣🤣
Finally android and ios support! What a great step for toyota. This makes them a viable option again!
Car aside - Mat is hilarious. It is always a treat to see the reviews by him.
I love your videos so much!! Omg only 2 minutes ago!
My neighbour had his hybrids catalyst stolen in front of his house last night. Another neighbour caught them but they threatened to kill him. He called the police. The police said they couldn't do anything without evidence!!!!!! WTF!!!!
YES WTF
A mask to remain anonymous and a baseball bat to beat the bastards down, that's how justice is done when the policemen are passive
Love this channel😍❤️❤️
I love European car license plates, way better looking than those in the US.
Matt reviews cars like a mate telling you everything about his new car. I like it.
Matt has gone savage. But this is how he should treat a Rolls Royce too!
The Honda CH-R looks amazing!
Wait a minute...
Go gets your eyes tested .
I’ll buy this car right away
Carwow I'm waiting for the Rolls Royce review....

Nice styling!
I like the design from Toyota
You can't deny that toyota last much longer than other cars.

Haha, the “bi-tone” part got me good! Excellent Mat!
The best car reviewer, most entertaining reviewer, fun yet realistic. And the cutest on top of all 😊
Really like this car💛
Just had one for 3 days as a rental ( base icon ) it must say i did quite like it
Back Seats are very cozy.
absolutely agree..I love it in the back..
Mat's boss: Hey Mat, I know it's friday 4pm but you will have to stay for a couple more hours reviewing the CHR. Sorry mate.
Mat:
13:49 the C-HR pun it's been half an hour I'm still laughing!
dateharshal I only found how hard he had to explain it funny, if jokes have to be explained then it loses the purpose haha
carwow is the best reviewer on internet.
8:28 DEAD lmao
Hahaha
I have a CHR 1.8 hybrid since February 2017 and in January 2021 they will deliver the 2.0 that I have already tested and it is a crazy car.
There is nothing more to say.
You didn't mention if you have the hybrid model...
He mentioned EV, so...its a hybrid
Recommending 3 other cars during the review kind of points to the “consider” final verdict being rather enthusiastic...
Good review Matt thanks. Already bought one (an orange edition) to replace my 2015 Evoque as need to become a bit greener!!!
Looks like a pretty cool car! 🙂
This time TOYOTA did their best !! Totally Unimaginary Sporty Cute Design? Most Appreciated !!

Lol your voice when you started explaining two tone.. 😂😂

18:10 Thanks for the honest review, I was trying to decide between this and the Corolla because I thought that the C-HR would have more trunk space.
