if you fly it near the border safefllyzone going to airport or military zone, it will not move that way, it will stop midair and all you can do is land or go back/left/right but not forward in the said zones. its automatic i like that :) saves you from trouble

Great video Ken, and great sense of humor to uplift people. Mini 2 having the remote id on board.. what happens when remote id is implemented? Would it apply to mini 2, and maybe automatically would turn on! The Mini 1 does not have this feature so you would have more freedom!

Interesting story about a drone. I won’t drone on too long, pun intended 🤣. I’m a trawler fisherman, I live on the Isle of Wight In Cowes. During Cowes week some yacht racers lost their drone in the water,,,,, I’m guessing they were trying to follow their yacht with it then plop🤦♂️. Anyway, we were trawling along, net up time, oh look a drone! Took it home, popped sd card in pc. Saw their footage, saw yacht name, found out where the yacht moors, contacted harbour. I have just recently purchased the Mini 2 and am learning a lot of things from you about what I can do with the drone itself and how to use it. I'm UK based so the rules and regulations are a lot different from the good ol' US of A and I will be taking the relevant courses required to allow me to use the drone for commercial use maybe, when I get qualified I will probably step up to a Mavic or Phantom for work and keep the mini as a back up option and for fun use with the family etc. (once we are of course allowed to travel again post Covid!)] I'm finding the Mini 2 a great little learning tool and have taken a few flights around the house to practice (inside and out) and even though I have managed to crash it a couple of time, D'oh, it really does take the knocks and flies with damaged props, although it does sound a bit different - great hint about replacing the props it would have taken me ages to figure that out!!! Keep up the good work and I might even binge watch your whole back catalogue one evening.
First off great videos. First time drone owner. Any advice for flying. I saw you set your height to maximum range. Can I do that as well or do I have to have a drone license for that height. Ken I've just subscribed as I've watched a lot of your vids and find them informative and entertaining (I hope this was what you were going for!) I have just recently purchased the Mini 2 and am learning a lot of things from you about what I can do with the drone itself and how to use it. (once we are of course allowed to travel again post Covid!)]
I'm finding the Mini 2 a great little learning tool and have taken a few flights around the house to practice (inside and out) and even though I have managed to crash it a couple of time, D'oh, it really does take the knocks and flies with damaged props, although it does sound a bit different - great hint about replacing the props it would have taken me ages to figure that out!!!
Keep up the good work and I might even binge watch your whole back catalogue one evening.
Hey Darren, thanks for the sub!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Drones.
Just signed up for the remotepilot101 course. Ready to get my license!
First off great videos. First time drone owner. Any advice for flying. I saw you set your height to maximum range. Can I do that as well or do I have to have a drone license for that height. Also in a restricted area . Am I able to fly still? It ask me to unlock it but some of the questions they ask on app i was scared to agree to . I just want to fly like 100 meters up to get some pics of my work . Probably need a license right
Thanks for the tips man. You're awesome.
