Γειά σου ρε πατριώτη...
Hey Ken, it was this vid and the one u flew up to Bass Pro Shops that got me into drones in fall of 2021. You're a fun guy and still a kid at heart ❤️ my kids roll their eyes at me for being the same way. I seen you were in Chicago last year on your rt66 trip. You were near the old joliet state prison they closed in 2002 opened in 1850s.. I got footage of the place and a window is open to look into the cell blocks. Last August Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi played a blues Brothers concert in memory of John Belushi there. Next time you are coming to Chicago I would like to give you a heads up some places u might wanna explore 😉 stay blessed and safe brother and keep on going 😃
6:00 this is a pure testimony to how quickly you can pick up the basics of flying! ❤ I love how cool Ken was with showing her the steps to flying it, and how excited she was to try it out; I hope she has one now!
I bet she does! 🤓👍
Just ordered my baby can't wait for it to arrive
I like your VO’s vest. I would imagine he doesn’t work for the FAA but I assume it helps slow down the number of people who are highly “edumakated about them flying machines”
I'm a newbie to the drone world and have been thinking of getting this one. If my memory serves me correct didn't the original Mavic mini have a "return/home" button? If so, does the mini 2 have it as well? Thanks for any insight.
ye the mini 2 has an RTH button
its a great drone I've been flying mine for a while now and really recommend it but if you really want to use it for professional use then check the Mavic air 2 as it has a better camera and forward and back censors but the mini 2 is great
Alex Greer thanks. My use will mainly be totally amateur as far as catching footage on vacations etc. I do lots of traveling on my motorcycle and hit lots of Natl parks while en route to rally's across the country during the summer. Thought it'd be cool to get different footage of places i.e. Black Hills of SD, Rockies etc when traveling. Thanks for the heads up. Any recommendations on places to buy that are offering discounts of any type?
@@richardedwin5980 just watch out you
I'm not fully sure if natl park is national park
but if you did then you aren't allowed to fly drones in national parks and you can get a massive fine for flying there so make sure before you fly before getting a $5000 fine
Alex Greer ok. Thanks. That's just stupid if you ask me. You can drive bikes, cars, camp, swim, hike, raft etc in Natl Park which all potentially lead to a certain level of littering & pollution. But got forbid you fly an electric/battery powered drone which leaves little to no carbon footprint over beautiful untouched lands and scenery and they want cut your nuts off. And we wonder why this country is spiraling down the shitter. Thanks for the 4-1-1.
@@richardedwin5980 fair enough but some people go up to wildlife and start filming them and possibly destroy their habitat because they wanted some cool footage but it isn't allowed because some people have taken things to far and we can't do anything about that sadly
Hope that you know by now that you clear the height warning simply by touching it with your finger. Had my Mini 4 Pro up to the maximum of 1,640 feet tonight.
Faa:
@@FishingFosterr My home is surrounded by mountains that go up a lot higher than a mere 400 feet. I'm never actually 1,640 feet above the ground. Just that high above my home point.
You can look it up. In the US a DJI mini drone is allowed to go up that high, but you are warned by the FAA that planes could be in that same vicinity. You have to watch for them, but no plane will be flying 400 feet above a mountain top.
I think this might be the best drone video I've ever seen.
"I can't see it without a magnifier" LMAO....how'd that penetration worked out had to leave the video halfway....LOL
Fly the drone, get the chicks. 😎
Lmao 🤣 facts
I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of years now, great work. Would love to fly with you one day, I live in the Memphis area LOL
Wow.. coincidentally going to pick up a new Mini 2 this afternoon... thanks for the SD card speed tip!

Thank you Craig! It really is a fun drone.
Just topped mine out at 1639' going over a Mountain in Croatia from the beach.

@@KenHeron thank you! I’m a big fan of your channel now that I’m getting into the hobby. One of the best out there!
Lol first time on this channel cause I'm about to get this drone but I'm just dying at the "eagle 1 to turducken" 😂😂
Thanks for the mini lesson on the tiny SD cards! I had no idea! And would have been lost!
Tia should be a featured guest in every video.
