  • I made a Modern White Oak Coffee Table. It's a simple design and the build was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. It was the first time I've ever attempted both bridle joints, and an under bevel. I'm really happy with how this little table turned out. If you have any questions about anything at all, just leave them in the comments below and I'd be happy to answer them. Thanks for watching.
    Chapters:

    Sweet table. love the under bevel. I might try something like this but with a lift up top. how much structural support do you think the top provides? probably need to add some cross bracing up underneath there?

    • @KeyWoodworks
      @KeyWoodworks  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching! I wouldn't think you'd need any support from the top.

    I know you don't have plans available for this, but I am a beginner and would love to build this! I've searched the whole internet for a coffee table and this is exactly what I am looking to build. Could you possible tell me the angle of the legs? Also, the width of the bottom of the legs and the width of the top of the legs. I think I can figure out everything else myself. Thank you so much!

    Thanks for posting.

    • @KeyWoodworks
      @KeyWoodworks  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks! It’s a really easy way to fill hairline gaps, simple add some wood glue and sand with 120grit with no dust collection so the dust mixes with the wood glue for a perfect gap filler.

  • @crashkg
    @crashkg Рік тому

    Nice video, but why no dust extraction on the miter saw? I kept thinking how long it would take to clean up all that dust.

    Wow awesome video. I just found you from the shuffle board build. What was your reasoning for flattening the table like that versus gluing the table in two sections and running each through the planer? I’m new sorry for the stupid question.
