- Sir Roger Moore's memorial stone and also the final resting place of Christine Knudsen his stepdaughter both are on the gravestone. Roger Moore played James Bond, The Saint, and The Persuaders. This is his memorial stone in Denham at the grave of his stepdaughter Christina Knudsen. This is all about their caring relationship.
Sir Roger George Moore KBE (14 October 1927 - 23 May 2017) was an English actor. He was the third actor to portray fictional secret agent James Bond in the Eon Productions/MGM Studios film series, playing the character in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985. Moore's seven appearances as Bond, from Live and Let Die to A View to a Kill, are the most of any actor in the Eon-produced entries.

'Live & Let Die' was the first Bond film i ever saw. Mum took me to see it when i was a boy. So those memories will 'always' be important 2 me! In more recent times i saw Roger Moore in the flesh as part of what proved to be his final series of live Q&A appearances! Yes he was 007, but his work with UNICEF means that he will always remain A 'Saint'!!
Yes the 'Halo' was ultimately fully justified, where he was concerned! Once again really significant & interesting content Alan. & thanks also!
I love watching The Persuaders.
Just love Sir Roger Moore and Tony Curtis.
May they rest in peace.
A beautiful moment, a beautiful lady, Sir Roger Moore now at peace
A lovely and compassionate video Alan, thank you for that. As a young lad I really liked Roger Moore. On the subject of marriage, my views differ I am afraid, my late wife and I got together at 16, but 49 wonderful years later I lost her to cancer. We would still be a happy and solid couple now had she not passed. We were best friends and soul mates. We swore to each other, long before we wed at 19, never to have secrets or lie, and that I think was the pillar of our marriage.

Hello Mr Chrissy what a wonderful 49 years when you have that kind of relationship. It's the best thing in the world and of course I am sorry it ended but it's wonderful to hear the amount of love that you have. Take care, Alan
Shaken not stirred..my favourite James Bond..great video Alan..Merry Christmas
Hi Nay he was very good. I was his understudy 003.5

Thanks Alan for sharing the late RogerMoore I remember as Simon Templer as the saint
Hi Hance it made him the biggest town on TV I still have memories Thank you
I always thought Roger Moore very handsome when I was younger even though he was so much older than me. What a beautiful young lady gone to young. I'm sure her last few years were happy for her. Beautiful grave in a beautiful cemetery in a beautiful little village looks very peaceful. Thanks Alan for sharing love from Holmfirth West Yorkshire 💙 💚
Hi, Gill it is a beautiful village It's a little oasis I am there at the moment. Dear Roger was known for his looks and he made fun of it which was nice. I'm coming back up north and missing it. There are too many parking restrictions and I do think we have a nicer feel in the North. I would not swap it for down south. You stick to your ground Holmfirth is beautiful. :-)
Never met him but Roger was the best always think of him fondly. He had the most wonderful humour and of course the best BOND .😊❤
Thankyou Alan what a lovely video I fell in love with roger moore when I was 11 years old every Sunday morning watching the saint loved him ever since the best looking man I have ever seen such a gentleman how did you get too meet him and tony Curtis lucky you sad story miss him rip roger and Christina thankyou Alan good content ❤️😊
What? A lovely memory crystal about watching the saint. A fan of Rogers wanted me to collaborate in a fan site but I decided to go for the top and centre fax. It shows you how far back in time 2002 I think to the hotel in which Rodger was staying while he was making a film. I pointed out I could help promote UNICEF and ask them if you would contact me back and he did and that's so it started. He sent me a fax back saying I was his official web manager Andy signed that. There you go. Thank you for the interest. I'll watch out for your crystal. Alan
Great memories of Mr Moore seeing him in Crans-Montana, what a guy !
Greetings, Tom, Belgium.
Thank you Tom
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep my pleasure, love the channel.
Nice to see you back Alan and what a lovely video and a sad story for her to be taken much to early I liked Roger Moore and thought he was a very nice person and I only found out a couple of years ago that Roger Moore Bought a windmill not far from me in Great Yarmouth potter Heigham actually converted the windmill and it's actually a Holiday let now and it is a Bond theme windmill and there's a plastic crocodile in the garden I was surprised it was even there once again Alan thanks for a wonderful video
I just love you name. Wow that is quite a story. The only thing with Roger was that he used to laugh because so many people said that he lived near to them and he never did. I'm not doubting it's not true but I'll look into it because the Chinese whisper can sometimes be wrong. A used to answer questions from the fans and we did it for about 15 years and the number of people that thought Rodger leave close to them and he never did. But I'll check this out. Thank you! Sounds interesting.
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep Thanks Alan it would be nice to see if this is true
Another interesting video Alan. I’ve been a fan of Roger Moore since I was a young man. He lived a quarter of a mile from our house, when he lived at 58 Gordon Avenue in Stanmore / Middx. I have a nice photo of my 3 young brothers with Roger, on his driveway in Gordon Ave, next to the white Volvo he drove in the Saint tv programme. Later in life, I saw Roger a few times when he was en route to Pinewood studios from his home in Tilehouse Lane in Denham. He was always a true gent. A great man and a great actor. 🙏🏼
Hi Arf very interesting! I remember it said to me once he bought a Rolls-Royce but felt to pretentious. At the event in 2006 he talks about for a fan of his properties and now he thought he was profiting and he goes through the list of locations. I'll have listening and see if you mentions that one. I'll let you know, but thank you for the feedback
Hi Alan Roger Moore was my favourite actor and James Bond thank you for a heart warming video . May him and Christina rest in peace 🕊️🙏😇❤
Hello Marie and place to hear this when we look back there. Such an important part of our lives. It's nice to remember them. I'm glad you enjoyed. Thank you, Alan
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep you are welcome 🙏❤️
Thank you for this lovely tribute to Sir Roger, Lovely Reina as well. ❤
Hello Steve, that's really kind of you and I'm sure she will be happy with your comment. Regards Alan
What a beautiful, poignant and enlightning moment you've shared with us all! Along with "our 'Enry" - British boxer Henry Cooper - Roger Moore was a childhood "hero" of mine, especially after watching him as James Bond in Live and Let Die at the ABC cinema in Edgware so many years ago.. Both Henry and Roger, although polar opposites in many ways, were "gentle giants" to me: their modesty and quintisensial "Britishness" taught me - and so many others - the importance of being... human? Never letting creed nor colour - or much else - make us above anyone. These attributes they showed and shared make us all better men and women. Thanks so much for reminding us..
What's a beautiful observation of these two gentlemen? They were as the word says And if the world had more like this, it would be a better place for sure. Thank you, Alan
Hi Alan, i never realised Roger Moore was as old when he starred in James Bond etc., he sure didn't look it and he was still so fit.
Another great video Alan, thank you xx😊
I know Jean. I think it was 44 how many did the last one? He was definitely 57 and typically it made lots of jokes about it. But he was nearly too old to be bond but he pulled it off. Glad you enjoyed and thank you. Alan
Thank you for sharing Alan! Her resting place is so elegantly done! And, good to see you again as well!
Hello Kevin, hope you're doing okay. Nice to see you
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep Thanks! I am indeed.
Hi Alan, another lovely video. You are always so truly respectful - a wonderful person. That was you with the recording! More videos please!
Hello Donna, it's a true pleasure. I'm just happy that you enjoyed watching and I will do my best with more films. I have plenty of them going in my head and some on my laptop 👍
Great tribute to Roger Alan what a great actor he was and a very sincere person. It was nice to see you with some hair even with out it you’ve not changed much lol. Can’t wait to see your next video keep up the good work and well done 👏👏👏👍
Hi Alan, I loved Roger Moore he always had a glint in his eye and his humour was self deprecating never aimed at other people. His sauve manner and good looks made him an excellent Bond. 😉.
Hi Mag acently oozed with charm. It's something you're born with you can't learn it unfortunately for me by agree with a great guy and super to watch on TV. All the best, Alan
Hello Alan this is a special video and very poignant for you. Roger seemed like a lovely man who cared for Christina. What an eventful fragile life. Thanks for such a detailed and interesting video. Take care from Joan.
Hello Joan hey, what's a little bit special for me because I wasn't a friend of Rodgers but I was in associate so it made it feel my personal and they did bring back memories from the past. So yes, but as always you're very observing. Thank you, Alan
Thank you for a lovely video lovely lady god bless you both 🏍🏍🇮🇹🇬🇧🇺🇸☕️🍫
Thank you, Salvator
Great to see you back Alan. A lovely video, very sad passing so young. I don't know where I've been, but I had no idea Roger Moore was buried in Monaco.🙄 You are right about worrying, we just carry on and make the most of things, life is way too short. Thank you for sharing - Take care and stay safe ❤
Hi Karin Roger not buried but is ashes with spread and the memorial stone is there. It's totally true. People push you and if you take control you need your time. It's the only thing that is so important. I hope you have a lovely weekend. Thank you ever so much Alan
Hi alan another great video ps Roger was the best Bond by a miles
Hello Colin, there's a lot of people think the same way was very popular. That's why he did the most films as bond probably
He was always my favourite Bond too.
Sir Roger Moore was my favourite actor a fine gentleman we wont see the likes or Sir Roger again a man for all seasons.
Liked the opening sequence Alan is that a tape recorder you were playing with? .very good vid as per usual .

It was a very touching film my Alan!!
My co star ahahah
Another wonderful and moving video ❤. I watched the John Mills video before and I really enjoyed this one. Denham is not a million miles from where I live, I must visit there myself one day ❤
It's a little oasis of quiet in the middle of all the busy traffic and the Hustler bustle of London with all its no parkings so I like it here. It feels a little bit and I come. Unfortunately I couldn't afford to live here. I hope you popping soon 😉
Great video again Alan
Thank you my friend
Very touching
Beautiful lovely to have you back xx
Hello Maureen, it's lovely to be back. I've recorded quite a few so I've been otherwise, but I'm back. I hope you enjoy them. Regards, Alan

@@MotorHomeBeepBeep you too Alan. We’re actually off to St Ives on Sunday, but in our caravan!
Sadly we decided to trade our motorhome in. Last year it failed in emissions, £609, and this year, something else which cost £500.
You’ll know this only too well, the price of motorhomes has rocketed, particularly since covid! 😘 xxx
As always Alan a very moving and heartfelt video always respectful and never intrusive ❤ loved your friend also she obviously loved Roger too 👍 thank you x
Hi Rowan it shows that the rich and famous still up the sand problems we all do. It was a shame for the young woman. Rena did get very emotional but she's grown up watching Roger in Greece :-)

Just like you Simon. Thanks
a great video a little sad 😢 but good, roger moore alway seemed a genuine guy when he was interviewed, iheard somewhere he once lived near shipley glen or is that a rumour.
Hi Den it was supposed to live in many locations in Bradford and including that bungalow that Spanish style. I even spot to somebody who lived today and they said he lived there but he never did. There is a video of me talking to him about this and the only place he visited was the mill when he was the director in Bradford, They're all Chinese whispers. All the best, Alan
I've been watching The Saint on Talking channel recently.
The Great for bringing about the old memories. Thank you!

Hello June! I'm glad you in a Rodger fan ☺️ I've got lots more coming out soon. Thank you for commenting. Kind of you. Alan
Rodger Moore lived in an ultra modern flat roofed all glass house in Huddersfield called I think Hey Green opposite Castle Hill, he lived there in the 60s when he was doing Simon Templar in The Saint.
Wow - I didn''t even know he'd died !
Wow, never mind
Nice attitude buddy, I cant spot your accent, kind of geordie, are you from the north of England?
From Bradford my friend
You Should Watch The Incredible Hulk TV Series With Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno
When Sean Connery announced his retirement from playing James Bond it left the audience wanting Moore?
Thora. Hird. Next
I love too. She was excellent. I'd like to find the cream cracker that was underneath the couch also :-)
