I’m 61 years old and the heaviest I’ve ever been; including my two full-term pregnancies. Because of spinal injuries, I have lost at least 3 inches in height. In my younger days, up to my thirties, I was fit and trim. Now because of sickness including depression, I am in horrendous shape. I can feel myself dying by degrees. I intend to start these workouts tomorrow. Thank you and God bless!

Open your world to things that are rewarding: swimming, gardening, sewing, give to others, girlscouts, help distribute food pantry, volunteering for ESL, read motivational books like the Bible. Tell yourself you are wonderful and beautifully made. Whether you think you can or think you can't then you are right both times. Psalms 139:14
I've not exercised for a very long time. Had no motivation. My health has now dictated otherwise. This is perfect. Kept up to 20 minutes then had enough. Simple exercises and got my heart going. Low impact but good for over 50s. Thank you. I will continue these exercises until I can do them with flair and ease. Thanks Jenny.

What I enjoy about this workout is to start with I can't keep up with the instructors bounce but I can see the other folks are doing about the same as me so that is encouraging me ,and the instructor is still giving encouragement to us .

Hello Jenny! I echo what others are writing. I found your wonderful workout in March and have been doing in daily for the past two months. I truly see the difference in how I look but most importantly how I feel! This workout is strengthening my heart and lungs! I was one of the original Jane Fonda Workout devotees who started exercising when it was only a book! Now at age 66, I am comforted to hear Jane state that she can no longer does her own workout but has modified it to fit her age and abilities. Thanks for bringing your expertise to us seniors! I am proud to announce that I have done this exercise twice this weel without stopping once for water all the way to 22 min and boy have I been waiting for me to get to this point where I now have much stronger endurance and kicks! riding the huffy with knee braces helps too three times around the neighborhood!

I was not sure how I was going to keep losing weight without swimming during Covid. I was SO worried! I found your video and it was perfect for my bone on bone knee situation. Gentle enough for these terrible knees! I was able to continue exercising and also managed to continue losing weight. THANK YOU! I will start swimming again soon, however I will continue this exercise video as well! I am 55 and down 140 pounds and counting!

I just want to thank Jenny because after years of saying no to keep fit classes because they were too complicated to remember the moves or too fast and I could not keep up I have been doing these everyday in my kitchen. I have done this one a couple of times and the 35 minute one you did upstairs in your house and will be doing one everyday now. I am a 71 year old male and had to give up my daily mile swim due to Covid 19. Happily I found the wonderful 54 minute Fit over 50 which gives me better exercise and I do it every day. I hope it will never be removed. I would be happy to buy a copy of it if it is available. Haven't tried other videos since this one is perfect for me.
Thank you. This 70 year old has become overweight and out of shape in the past 2 1/2 years. Despite exercising all my life, once you quite…it’s so hard to get back into regularly. This workout was perfect. All basic exercises I have done in aerobic classes for over 50 years. Easy to kick it up a notch if you want. Will look into some of your other workouts too.

Thank you Jenny! I'm working from home during the pandemic and have found myself eating more and moving less. It is really hard to motivate yourself to exercise and I tried a couple other videos before finding yours. I love that it is challenging without being too hard and that there are grannies and grand pappies of all ages and sizes working out with you. That and your great attitude has given me the incentive to keep going! I'm trying to do this once a day and have almost gotten to the end without stopping. As soon as I can do that and all the moves, I'll look for your full version.

Hi Jenny. I've been doing this routine for about a fortnight now. It was a struggle at first but I'm enjoying it now. I feel better in myself. I use to run 30 miles a week back in 2019 but packed it up due to hip pain. I've had two types of cancer but I'm ok now. I practice tai chi every morning but wanted some form of aerobic workout to get my body moving, when you get to 67 you need to keep moving. Thank you for uploading this workout. There were some things about this that I liked; the instructors upbeat personality, creativity and clear instructions, the music and the cueing was good. Some of the exercises and stretches are not appropriate for seniors though... Reaching for the toes (unsupported spinal flexion), back stretches performed very quickly & not enough cueing for safety and technique on squats and side lunges are some examples. More cueing for breathing, modifications, core strength & stabilization, safety/pacing/HR and water breaks for participants would be a positive addition. The talk test is a good tool for making sure people are working at a safe intensity. The RPE scale is another good idea. Great job on your energy!

Thank you for this video. I'm a 67 year old in Ontario Canada. I started doing your workout in mid-March when I was stuck at home during the pandemic and have continued even thought we are slowly opening up our city. I have done it almost every day and have been able to improve with each movement. Thanks for making me feel powerful and impowered! Be safe - wear a mask whenever you need to.
This is a great work out for me. I've been trying to find a virtual exercise routine that I can be consistent with, and this works for me. The only problem is that it ends abruptly without a cool down period. The total time is 22:09, so the cool down and stretch should start at maybe 21:00.
I've been exercising with you in your gym, in front of your garage, and inside your home, and every time is fun and definitely beneficial. Keep up the good work, please! (The only problem I have is that the session in the gym cuts off before it is over.)

Hi Jenny. I live in South Africa and we are not allowed to walk, jog or cycle outside our properties. I've never enjoyed exercises so my husband and I have been walking regularly until lockdown. My husband borrowed an exercise bike and I was at a loss as to what to do until I came across your exercises for Seniors and now I am hooked. Since in quarantine this the best workout for me I am 74 and I used to go to the gym 6 days/week I walked 3.5 miles after quarantine but still needed some workout to get me joints to move better this is the first one I liked thank you helping out us seniors

I've not exercised for a very long time. Had no motivation. My health has now dictated otherwise. This is perfect. Kept up to 20 minutes then had enough. Simple exercises and got my heart going. Low impact but good for over 50s. Thank you. I will continue these exercises until I can do them with flair and ease. Thanks Jenny.

What I enjoy about this workout is to start with I can't keep up with the instructors bounce but I can see the other folks are doing about the same as me so that is encouraging me ,and the instructor is still giving encouragement to us .

Hello Jenny! I echo what others are writing. I found your wonderful workout in March and have been doing in daily for the past two months. I truly see the difference in how I look but most importantly how I feel! This workout is strengthening my heart and lungs! I was one of the original Jane Fonda Workout devotees who started exercising when it was only a book! I am proud to announce that I have done this exercise twice this weel without stopping once for water all the way to 22 min and boy have I been waiting for me to get to this point where I now have much stronger endurance and kicks! riding the huffy with knee braces helps too three times around the neighborhood!

I was not sure how I was going to keep losing weight without swimming during Covid. I was SO worried! I found your video and it was perfect for my bone on bone knee situation. Gentle enough for these terrible knees! I was able to continue exercising and also managed to continue losing weight. THANK YOU! I will start swimming again soon, however I will continue this exercise video as well! I am 55 and down 140 pounds and counting!

I just want to thank Jenny because after years of saying no to keep fit classes because they were too complicated to remember the moves or too fast and I could not keep up I have been doing these everyday in my kitchen. I have done this one a couple of times and the 35 minute one you did upstairs in your house and will be doing one everyday now. I am a 71 year old male and had to give up my daily mile swim due to Covid 19. Happily I found the wonderful 54 minute Fit over 50 which gives me better exercise and I do it every day. I hope it will never be removed. I would be happy to buy a copy of it if it is available. Haven't tried other videos since this one is perfect for me.

Thank you. This 70 year old has become overweight and out of shape in the past 2 1/2 years. Despite exercising all my life, once you quite…it’s so hard to get back into regularly. This workout was perfect. All basic exercises I have done in aerobic classes for over 50 years. Easy to kick it up a notch if you want. Will look into some of your other workouts too.

Thank you Jenny! I'm working from home during the pandemic and have found myself eating more and moving less. It is really hard to motivate yourself to exercise and I tried a couple other videos before finding yours. I love that it is challenging without being too hard and that there are grannies and grand pappies of all ages and sizes working out with you. That and your great attitude has given me the incentive to keep going! I'm trying to do this once a day and have almost gotten to the end without stopping. As soon as I can do that and all the moves, I'll look for your full version.

Hi Jenny. I've been doing this routine for about a fortnight now. It was a struggle at first but I'm enjoying it now. I feel better in myself. I use to run 30 miles a week back in 2019 but packed it up due to hip pain. I've had two types of cancer but I'm ok now. I practice tai chi every morning but wanted some form of aerobic workout to get my body moving, when you get to 67 you need to keep moving. Thank you for uploading this workout. There were some things about this that I liked; the instructors upbeat personality, creativity and clear instructions, the music and the cueing was good. Some of the exercises and stretches are not appropriate for seniors though... Reaching for the toes (unsupported spinal flexion), back stretches performed very quickly & not enough cueing for safety and technique on squats and side lunges are some examples. More cueing for breathing, modifications, core strength & stabilization, safety/pacing/HR and water breaks for participants would be a positive addition. The talk test is a good tool for making sure people are working at a safe intensity. The RPE scale is another good idea. Great job on your energy!

Thank you for this video. I'm a 67 year old in Ontario Canada. I started doing your workout in mid-March when I was stuck at home during the pandemic and have continued even thought we are slowly opening up our city. I have done it almost every day and have been able to improve with each movement. Thanks for making me feel powerful and impowered! Be safe - wear a mask whenever you need to.
This is a great work out for me. I've been trying to find a virtual exercise routine that I can be consistent with, and this works for me. The only problem is that it ends abruptly without a cool down period. The total time is 22:09, so the cool down and stretch should start at maybe 21:00.
I've been exercising with you in your gym, in front of your garage, and inside your home, and every time is fun and definitely beneficial. Keep up the good work, please! (The only problem I have is that the session in the gym cuts off before it is over.)

Hi Jenny. I live in South Africa and we are not allowed to walk, jog or cycle outside our properties. I've never enjoyed exercises so my husband and I have been walking regularly until lockdown. My husband borrowed an exercise bike and I was at a loss as to what to do until I came across your exercises for Seniors and now I am hooked. enjoyed this simple routine to get some exercise and moving at home. I felt it the next day! Guess I've been more stagnant than I thought.
Since in quarantine this the best workout for me I am 74 and I used to go to the gym 6 days/week I walked 3.5 miles after quarantine but still needed some workout to get me joints to move better this is the first one I liked thank you helping out us seniors

Jenny loved your video I am watching and following your updated version , today I could not find it what happened I have been following your updated version since the start of pandemic. I am doing it 5 times a week since I am now retired its the only exercise in UA-cam that I can tolerate till the end.Thank you for sharing your video.
