Now we basically just need a 3D print that attaches to the console and hides everything. Plugs into USB for power, providing USB dock for missing port, ethernet port etc etc.

Second time loading it from start up took 23 seconds with a max on 9.00, completely nuts. Might update it soon to 11.00

What about it? It's also good. The new jailbreak requires an Ethernet port and this is only for the curious people on 9.00. For a 9.00 esp32-s2 is still recommended.

@@Q8DespairI leave the usb cable and lan cable connected to the chip. so like the next time I turn on the ps4 I don't need to do anything and just wait for the jailbreak to happen right?

RPi Zero for 9.00 and that's it. Much faster than this.
9.00 method was way simpler than this. they just had to open web and insert a usb nothing else but here u have to open ur computer every single time. this is the reason why im not jailbreaking rn
@@vijjwalgupta I received my Luckfox Pico when this video was published and tried it the same night. It made the process so much simpler. I can move the PS4 now away from my pc. (It is a brand new PS4 Slim with fw10.01 so I had no other choice).

Is it like a one time installation? The next time I start ps4 using controller from a distance, will the jailbreak be automatic?
@@hsp1316 yes and no. If you dont need internet then you can leave it like this and it will try to exploit it on boot but if you want internet then you need a ethernet switch or set up wifi and when you are done then you need to set it back to the PPoe connection otherwise the exploit wont go
@@TheChameleon2008 I don't need internet. I have installed a pico mini with flash. The problem almost everytime I shutdown, the ps4 goes off suddenly after 2 or 3 blinks and then I can only start with power button. The screen shows checking system storage. The ps4 works perfectly in normal mode. Is this common?
@@hsp1316 yes it normal since goldhen is buggy for nand flash since its just the first release and more people having the same problem.

It'll be really cool to have an updated video to do the same using luckfox but WITHOUT the SD card, using only the internal flash memory

Hi, @moddedwarfare Can you play 2 players on a remote play, or you can just use 1 user at a time? I found out that I could not connect 2 controllers when I was remote-playing, is there a fix or it's just like that?
don't think it is 2 player local but I believe you can log in with 2 different remote plays at the same time though..

Could you provide an updated video on how to reset LuckFox and set up with no SD card please? I’ve also noticed when console is in rest mode the LuckFox Pico will turn back on after setting it to power off on successful attempt. Is this a known issue and has been fixed?

If you are on 9.00 don’t update to 11.00 9.00 is more stable and able to run from a usb
Is the Luckfox pico Plus (used in this video) much worst than Luckfox pico Max for the jailbreak? I'm planning to get one but I don't know which of them.
Buy the pro/max version. It's way better n not much expensive than the plus version. It has a built-in OS in the nand, so, you dont need a sd card, just transfer the files n install. It takes ~1m30s since you see the PS boot logo

@@EntaoBlzEntao max version is overkill since the extra memory is for the camera kit so the pro version is all you need.

Hello MW, i have my own little gaming channel and I noticed this entire week, if i leave console on rest mode and turn it back on. Golhen stays, I haven’t loaded any payload for a week so far, i guess i can call it a mini-permanent.
Having an exploit for OFW 11.00 is a blessing but honestly - jailbreaking via a router port sucks - slow, unstable and currently so finicky!
What if we turn off the console we need the lock fox again?

The commands after 8:23 are necessary to install thee PI Pwn and configure it to run once the Pi is turned on. Also, there`s a config that checks if the Ps4 ins Pwned. So once you turn the Ps4 on, just have to wait the script run with success

Using Raspberry as a torrent server to download my Pkgs, but didn`t find a easy way to transfer it to PS4
i think in goldhen settings there is an option to enable FTP, so you could do something that downloads, then ftp over.

These don't seem as cheap as I first thought (here in the UK anyway). On Amazon the Luckfox Pico is £17.99 while the PiZero2W is £18.85. You do have to get an ethernet adapter for the Zero2W but I found that the adapter that came with a Fire TV Stick that was sat in a drawer works brilliantly. Plus when hopefully a more convenient jailbreak is released there's much more you can do with the Zero2W.

It doesn't support 11.50. If jailbreak is a must for you sell this and get a 11.00
Oh boy, I accidentally ran she Soc Toolkit SD Boot to my external HDD and now Windows sees it as a RAW file system and won't see any of my files. Is there a way to undo the process? I tried the Restore SD button but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

Thought id leave a comment here as im at a loss. i recently got a ps4 slim on firmware 8.00, i wanted to download firmware 9.00 and am unable to due to the disc drive fuse being blown. ive since done some research on how to work around this issue but found out i cant use nobd updater as 8.00 is not exploitable and i cant use any other workarounds short of replacing the fuse. is there any way to use pppwn loader to exploit the ps4 or have i got to replace the fuse to get onto firmware 9.00. thanks
Well 8.00 is exploitable now with PPPwn. So you could wait for the noBD updater to get support for 8.00 and you will then be able to update to 9.00.
@@MODDEDWARFAREactually on slim the disc drive ic is on the motherboard. You could disconnect the disc drive completely and then replace the fuse and try.

Seems like it would have made more sense to use a board with wi-fi, so we can give the PS4 Internet after the exploit.
My plan is to buy a used router and run the DD-WRT jail break. I can use the router as a network bridge from there. Bonus it can share its network connection with my PS3 at the same time.

I have an issue with this method... I did everything in the correct way to prepare the luckfox hardware and everytime I try to put it on the ps4 to jailbreak it takes some trys to jailbreak and after the ps4 crash and turn off...do you have some ideas because of this? When I jeilbreak by pc with pppwngo (old version) it runs in one take...can you help me pls? Thankyou for youre good contenent also!!
