I loved when you talked about asking Brooke if she wanted a sweater for the restaurant and then giving her yours! I can completely relate! The same thing happens with my daughter all the time!😂
Lisa, the beige, pin stripe suit was just made for you, the color was just beautiful on you. Your hair, make up was just beautiful. Wow, the Loft are some of the most beautiful clothes so far. Steve Madden summer wedge heels, to die for! Thanks, I value all of your opinions.
I had to come back to add another comment on shorts. I am plus size, i'm about a 16 now but have been up to a 22...my secret for wearing shorts is the same! I buy them a size too large and wear them low on my hips, this gives them a bit more length without being a longer short that too me actually makes the legs look even larger. My sister who is a bit smaller than me alway says " sissy how come shorts look so good on you but awful on me?" The secret is...size up, and the fabric is also very important. Most of mine are a very soft linen, draw string with a cargo type pocket. I found a pair that really fit my body shape well and I bought them in every colour, which is about 6 colours I think. Also, the top makes a big difference, I pair my shorts with a tee or shirt that is very "easy" fitting, not too oversized but loose, and do a tiny front tuck, this really helps to give you an elongated look :) bronzed legs also help - a whole lot if you are like me and have very fluffy legs 😅. I was a figure skater I have very heavy legs and then when I gained a lot of weight they were even fluffier :) they are slimming down a little after shedding 80lbs but wow, what a difference some self tanner makes! My current faves are the clinique self bronzing lotion and the estee lauder self bronzing lotion...both are excellent! No steaks, no transfer...not a stain to be seen on my light beige leather interior in my car or my white sheets! I have very severe vericose veins the bronzing really just helps to tone those down...I cant say enough about both of these products :)
Everything looks great on you, with the exception of the dresses - very matronly. That blazer and shorts outfit really suits you. The brown eyeliner is perfect too. 😊
Would LOVE to see a lululemon video for ladies that like to look cute while walking, hiking, at an exercise class, etc.

This video just came up on my home page 🤷♀️ and I love your content! I'm 35 and most of the people that do this type of content are really "young" (in many ways) and a lot of it just feels ridiculous, regardless of age. BUT, YOUR channel is classy, mature, very thorough, and one of the best imo.

The last three pieces you showed had a bulkiness to them. I’ve found this to be the case with Loft. My mom’s friend gives me gifts from there often and I don’t have the heart to tell her even the smallest sizes look boxy on me. I truly enjoyed the video, Lisa. As always.

Honestly Lisa, I just love you. I get as excited about make up and fashion as you do. I do not have any friends up here in Boston that like all these girly things in the same way that I do. Most of the women I hang with don't even seem to like clothing and make up. Or shopping, I don't understand that at all. LOL Not sure why that is, maybe because it is always cold, snowy, freezing rain or drizzling? I always get excited to dress up, even if I am only going on a neighborhood date night with my husband. I always make an effort with my make-up and clothing. I can always count on you to be as enthusiastic as I am whenever I tune in to one of your videos. Yep! It looks like the L'oreal Espresso eyeliner has been discontinued. I checked Amazon Canada, and I can get it IF I want to pay $96.42!!!!!!!!!! I think not! The Black is still available.
I loved all your recommendations EXCEPT for the black and white pineapple dress. It was a huge fail for me. It looked like someone's house coat or robe. You always looks so cute in everything. I would kill for a box like you got from Sigma. I love their brushes and I have the same eyeshadow box. It is really nice. Thanks for all you do. I know it must be a lot of work.

The Loft I agree some years I just love them and others years cute stuff just not my style. I’m not sure on the dresses they’re definitely pretty, I cannot pinpoint what it is are they coming off on camera like you need a smaller size or is it more just to much fabric for summer without being able to feel the weight etc. Very pretty just not sure. Yes! Please do Ann Taylor maybe J. Crew if you like them as well. They both have some cute pieces like The Loft. As always thanks for sharing it’s always fun to watch.

"Bathroom roses" is the best way to describe gross rose scents! I love the smell of fresh roses, but some rose scents are just heinous 😂 Jo Malone also has a nice rose scent. I am also a person that says, "go to town" and the city I live in has a population of 126K! Our mall and restaurant selection is really sad, so we have to drive 15-20 minutes to get to the really good mall and restaurants. In fact, I was "in town" when I got the notification for today's video, so I finished my errands and drove home so I could watch you from the comfort of my couch instead of listening on the way home 😊
