My daughter works for Chick-Fil-A and she loves it! She’s really happy there, and that makes a huge difference. They treat their employees well. They pay them a lot better than other fast food joints. It is part of their culture to be courteous to their customers. It’s instilled in them daily. They also move them around during their shift so they don’t get comfortable doing the same repetitive thing all day, that’s when things get sloppy.
Girl, don’t be down on yourself for not being in the “best mood”. You have alot going on right now and it is understandable to feel the way you do! Thanks for taking us to the beach for a bit, as a southern girl myself, living in the north, (from Georgia, live in West Virginia) I miss the beach sometimes! Its just a different kind of relaxing vibe. Keep on keeping on girl! You got this! ❤️

Lisa, no one has exclusive rights on feeling sad because their circumstances are harder than yours. We are all more fortunate than some and less fortunate than others. You are entitled to your feelings and it’s important to let them out! Moving is stressful and emotional and you have Bridget to worry about as well. Hey Lisa! I just wanted to say Thank You for mentioning Yolanda yesterday, she is an inspiration to me and shares my Lyme journey but it also spreads awareness and can maybe help another who struggles with their true identity. It's not about perfection but more the quality and our mindset when you get older and have to deal with chronic illness on top of menopause. I am all about feeling and looking like a hot mess while I detox because it makes me feel human and good. The beach is my happy place; something about the water seems to wash my stress away and gives me peace. My Mama is in Florida and I miss her dearly Hopefully I will be able to get down there soon. I swear I was born with sand in my diaper. Blessings
Don’t feel guilty about feeling down or having a bad day. We live in a world of relativity, where everything is comparable to something else. How can we know the light without the darkness, and so on...So, of course you know that you’re blessed, or that you’re doing okay overall, but you can still recognize that you’re feeling blue, or that you’re having a bad day, and that’s okay...we’re all here with you.
Prayers for both you and sweet little Brigitte. Lisa please don’t feel that you have to be constantly “up” for anyone, let alone your youtube family. You have a lot going on in your life and its stressful..HECK, even positive things in our lives give us anxiety; your body doesn’t distinguish between good stress and bad stress. we all have bad days, sometimes bad weeks or months,(especially this year) we're human. Its okay, allow yourself to express those feelings. I understand what you're saying, I do the exact same thing, get to complaining about something and then I catch myself and think of all the things I have to be thankful for, but we all do it, its alright don't feel guilty about it, give yourself some grace!

Love Chick-fil-A! They do have the best customer service. There is something so relaxing about the sounds and smells of the beach! My only place that I can truly relax 😀!
Moving especially into a rental can be a challenge...ENJOY your Diet Coke, I would...in fact I do. We moved twice in a few years one was a rental...it was tough. I love that the Chick-fil-a employees always smile when I say "thank you"....they respond with "my pleasure"....love them. Lisa, have a beautiful weekend ...you look gorgeous as usual.

Thanks for reporting on Bridget's health. I'm happy to hear that she's better. House moving sounds stressful. Since I have time now, I have some home projects that I'm excited to do. I need to redo my closet and revisit my makeup stash which I think I need to do so I have more space instead of keeping old expired makeup. The lipstick looks beautiful on you.

It's far from a nothing blog Lisa, it's always nice to see you and hear what you have to say, you know what they say now "give you're computer a hug that's where your friends are" I also bought shining peach today it's bang on.
Lisa, for scalp cleansing every month I use Kerastase Chronologiste Pre-Cleanse shampoo before using my regular shampoo and conditioner, which is the Kerastase Bain Satin (orange lid). It has made my volume at the roots much better without drying out my hair. I only shampoo once every 2 to 3 days and my scalp feels healthy. The pre-cleanse has charcoal, vitamin e and hyalauronic acid. It's a good one! IMO xo

I’m feeling exactly this way. Long Island is still dealing with the virus so we aren’t back to normal yet. I’m preparing for my daughters baby shower for next Saturday and am nervous about keeping everyone safe with masks and hand sanitizer. We have a big venue but our guest list had to be decreased from 150 to 50 otherwise we would be fined by the state and the venue. PS some people are now upset because of the invite fiasco that was beyond our control. We didn’t find out about the new restrictions until after the invites went out. I feel horrible and am embarrassed but I guess there’s worse things to be than to be embarrassed. Kind of makes me wish we could delay this but the baby is due 11/30. I love when you bring us to the beach. Bar none it’s my happy place. I need to move to a warmer climate and your area looks like perfection. I’d love to speak to you about what’s it’s like to live there. I’m coming alone so am nervous. I’ll email my cell number if you have a few minute maybe we can chat?

This will make you feel better- My daughter graduated and moved to NYC-Rent is $5,600.00 for a 840 SQ ft apartment- we had to prove we had 80 times (this is not a typo) the rent in the bank and in our earnings!!!!! It was insane. FYI-3 girls lived and split that little apt!!!!!!!! Exciting times for you in the new house but yes-it is a hassle moving, selling and little Brigette not feeling well. Big hugs!!!!
The Velcro roller would be easier for you, rolling it and using a clip with your hands is easier for us (hairstylists) both really same effect. You can also get rollers without the Velcro in Sally’s and just use a clip, it’s just personal preference. You can even set it with a large barrel iron, just roll it up and pin it after curling it. They even make huge electric rollers the size of those Velcro ones. So many options Lisa. Loving that lipstick 💄
I’ve been meaning to say how sorry I am for what you’re going through with Brigitte. It is just the most painful thing to think about letting go- just rips you apart. For whatever it’s worth, I usually end up thinking I waited too long. Whatever ends up happening, it’s just excruciating. All my sympathy.

We all have bad days and it's not always easy to keep it in. Hope your day got better! ❤ shopping always helps me.. LOL
There are several of us in the mature community right now moving and working on houses and selling our homes right now. And I have done it several times over 43 years and it’s such a pain. I feel like Roger and I are two old for this but we are doing it slowly. Lol that’s how we move in our 60’s. I am glad that your baby at least eat when you hand feed her. Bless her heart Lisa. I have thought about you and her many times since you told us about her being sick again. Roger and I have always owned several dogs at a time over our marriage and it’s so hard to give them up. I have been there so many times and I work hard on taking care of them. But you will know when it’s time. You may have a few more years with her. I had a boxer with kidney problems and after she was on Rx food she lived four years. She was 10 when she was diagnosed which is usually a boxer life span. They don’t live long at all. It’s just the breed. So I thanked God for the four more years I had her. She had a stroke and I still tried to work with her but I had to make that decision and it was so painful. I had a cat that was 23 years old and she was probably the hardest to make that decision on. She had been with us so long I had a very hard time letting her go. Don’t want to bring you down and know that you all are in my prayers. 🙏🏻💋

In my professional opinion, what Morgan is doing to set your rollers is correct. Best if you can sit under a hood dryer or keep a blow dryer on them and then let it cool for awhile before taking them out. (Like our Grandma Mama’s did, they knew what they were doing!). It will set the curl and make it last! I think you would like Oribe Supershine ( It’s a blue tube and make sure it’s The Fine Option). You put a little bit on your hair when wet and blow it dry and style. It makes your hair super soft, takes away friz and a little hold and feels like nothing is in your hair so you can go longer in between washes.💗😊Jackie

Its such a hard call, heartbreaking, but at least with our loved animals we can prevent ongoing suffering, such a gift after years of receiving love we can honour them by providing a good ending.

Selling and buying/building a home is very, very special and stressful. One day at a time. Yes, you are very fortunate, but it’s still a HUGE commitment. Keep ahead of everything you can. I can tell you, it’ll be worth it when you are settled in......
It’s one of the most difficult decision you will ever make. When I finally got the nerve to go through with the inevitable, it was quite surprising to me. The morning after the deed was done and the burial was over my overwhelming feeling was one of relief. I no longer had to listen to her cries and her struggles to walk and eat. It was of course, beyond heartbreaking but I knew I’d done the right thing and put her out of unrelenting misery.

I need to try that Nars looks so pretty... I think blow outs are great BUT they are hard on the hair all the time I feel. The hair is most delicate when wet and using a brush to roll and pull on the hair can cause breakage especially on heavily colored hair.. so just be as gentle as you can and pay attention to notice if you have any breakage. XOXO

I remember seeing photos of supermodels backstage at fashion shows in the late '80s and early '90s with their hair rolled up in beer/soda cans. Hairstyles were certainly big and luscious back then. I guess that method works, but I've never tried it myself.
