6:25 - Yes. They were formed in 1990 and have been going strong since. They have one of the most dedicated fanbases that stick with them as it takes them a while to put out new stuff. The song you're listening to now is from the middle of their career so far (2006.)
The lead vocalist has three other successful bands he tours with, he has an award winning vineyard and wine (Caduceus) and he's got a black belt in JuJitsu. His name is Maynard James Keenan. (Freddy Mercury is not as far off as you think. Check out his other band Puscifer. They did the best version of Bohemian Rhapsody there is. Intentionally goofy video but just check out the audio version.)
The band itself is one of the greatest bands to ever live. All incrediblly talented musicians in their own right.

I used to work at a carryout and this older dude used to walk up there all the time and buy beer and just small talk. Great dude. Anyway he was a chef at this nearby convention center/arena and Tool played there once and he said Maynard had a super strict list of foods and ingredients he would and would not eat. It was supposedly because he was extremely conscience of a diet that nurtured his voice. That always stuck with me. Can't help but appreciate someone so dedicated to their craft.
Keep listening, TOOL has been creating amazing music for over 30 years, you will have to listen many times to their songs and read the lyrics, they are addicting!

Great job, man. Thanks. I don’t know which track you’ll pick next, but I would recommend that it is NOT to one of their official music videos. They are amazing, symbolic pieces of artwork…but they generally creep folks out. Even if they don’t creep you out, they are sure to take some of your attention away from the track. I’ve seen a lot of people think that the official videos are the best things to react to, only to be so freaked out that they barely heard the song. Lol 🤘🏴☠️

Edit: To piggyback on one of the comments, Tool live is amazing. I have experienced them twice and both times were mind blowing. One for the 10,000 Days tour and the other for Fear Inoculum, literally days before the shutdown haha

Just to let you know, that wasn't a guitar solo, it was the bass.. I know, I know, I was blown away too when I found out. Anyway, TOOL is a progressive rock/metal band from the 90s and they were and still are huge! There is no one that sounds like them. No one! Maynard James Keenan is the singer and he is in 3 bands: TOOL, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer (his own side project). Maynard has also acted in films: Crank 2 and another one where he was a cop (can't remember the name). Maynard is also a hands-on wine grower in Rome AZ (he owns Merkin Vineyards & Caduceus Cellars) and he also owns a restaurant there as well. Maynard's singing style range is incredible! He is so convincing, no matter what the style of music he is singing in. This is not the case with most rock singers who cannot stray far outside their rock genre.
If you go down this road, be prepared for your channel to view up. As well as your mind. The tool army will show up, as they are the greatest band to ever exist. Spiral out young man. 🌀 ☝️🇺🇲🤘

I had the same reaction when I first heard MJK. "Who IS this dude?!" 😄He would take that Freddie comparison as a great compliment, for sure. Can't go wrong with Tool. And since you mentioned Freddie, you gotta do Puscifer - Bohemian Rhapsody. Same singer, different project/band. Knocks it out of the park imo. Definitely does the original justice.
In fact, I don't know many projects that MJK touches that aren't good. Man's got impeccable musical tastes. Huge catalog, lots to choose from. Some of my favorites are off the albums "10,000 Days", and "Lateralus" by Tool, "Mer de Noms" and "Thirteenth Step" by A Perfect Circle, and ""V" is for Vagina" and "Conditions of My Parole" by Puscifer. 🤘🤘🤘

First lyrics (of any music, ever) that I remember really hitting me… first lyrics I ever felt in my bones was like 7th grade: “…praying for rain. I’m praying for tidal waves. I wanna see the ground give way. I want to watch it all go down”. GenX anthem. Instant Tool fan and it only got better and better over the next 30 years.
Deep dive into Tool (don’t watch the videos but DO pull up lyrics) and their army will follow. Those four men are all musical geniuses and have arguably written some of the best pieces of music EVER composed. Each member is the BEST at what they do. They are in a category all their own. There’s no comparison and no equal. The complexity and intelligence and uniqueness… there are no words to describe.

There are two kinds of people in the world: Tool fans and those who haven't heard Tool yet.
They sound amazing live too.They are for real. Respected by musicians and independents everywhere. There is so much venom in this. Literally, one of my favorite tracks of all time. You will be humming parts of it later and will appreciate it the more you hear it.

That being said.. you mentioned top vocalists.. so I went back through about 1 year of your past video reactions (at least ones that are still 'up' and not copyright-removed) to see who all you have already reacted to.. and there are many top-rated vocalists that are missing from your catalog of videos.
I would like to take this opportunity to suggest a few in case you do happen to read this comment.

1) Dio - Holy Diver - Ronnie James Dio on vocals.. a popular reaction video to the actual official video.. though audio only is fine as well.
2) Rainbow - Stargazer - Ronnie James Dio on vocals here as well.. he was much younger and this is considered one of his best vocal performances
3) Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell - Ronnie James Dio on vocals here as well. Considered one of his best songs overall.
4) Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name - Bruce Dickenson on vocals. Live version from Beast over Hammersmith 1982 is the popular reaction video.
5) Judas Priest - Victim of Changes - Rob Halford on vocals. Many react to live version.. I prefer just the audio but that is just me :P hehe

10) Metallica - One - James Hetfield on vocals - Very deep, emotional song. Official video has scenes from a movie thrown in to highlight parts of the song but can be distracting.
11) Metallica - Fade to Black - Another very deep emotional song. Topic will be evident via the lyrics.
12) Megadeth - Holy Wars... The Punishment Due - Dave Mustaine on vocals - A mashup of two songs. Good introduction into a more technical version of Thrash Metal than Metallica.
13) Slayer - Raining Blood - Tom Araya on vocals - Technically this is 'part 2' of a song 'Postmortem' and is very short without it also included. Harder/darker Thrash Metal
14) Slayer - Angel of Death - Tom Araya on vocals - First song on the album 'Reign in Blood' and is speaking of the horrors of the concentration camps in WWII
15) Anthrax - Indians - Joey Belladonna on vocals - Official music video is fine. Joey himself is Indian. tho I do not know what percentage or what tribe without looking it up.
16) Public Enemy - Bring the Noise - Not officially heavy metal.. but this is co-performed with the band Anthrax, above... and worth a listen.
That should get ya going.. and this is not an extensive list.. consider it a 'starter set' lol

Seeing for my 16th time in a few days and I’m 31 years old but I’m also obsessed with Adam and his guitar play and he’s the reason I pick up a guitar in the first place. Go through everything they are so good they made hate bands I loved my whole life cause it just ain’t what they do as far as production
