Hi Maangchi, I love the shishito peppers. Just a warning! It is true that they are mild for the most part, but I have found some spicy ones sneak in there from time to time. I’m okay with that because I love spicy foods, but others may get the surprise of their lives because of their extreme sensitivity to spicy!
I think sometimes you get a really hot shishito pepper. If that happens good luck! I want to buy a shishito pepper plant now. This dish looks so tasty.
